This leads us to a more balanced build at the position and it starts with Fox who has emerged from his slump in a big way. Over the last 12 games dating back to mid-December, Fox has averaged 27.7 points and 6.9 rebounds for nearly 45 fantasy points a game. Volume and usage is not an issue either as he comes into tonight having taken 20 or more shots in three straight and five of his last six games. At sub $9K prices on both sites in a plus matchup against the Magic, Fox is my top guard and in play in all formats. Dennis Schröder FD - $5800 DK - $5700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 26.6 DK - 29.26 The Lakers are playing a bit short-handed right now with both Austin Reaves and Lonnie Walker out for a couple of weeks and Anthony Davis still out. This has obviously led to some monster usage from LeBron but he hasn't been the only one benefiting as Schroder has seen a big increase in playing time and usage playing 32+ minutes and taking double-digit shots in six straight games while shooting over 50% from the field. He is very shooting dependant but in a game with a total approaching 240 against the Nuggets 24th ranked defense, I am on board in all formats. Tyus Jones FD - $5200 DK - $4900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 35.25 DK - 37.85 This is a situation we will have to monitor leading up to lock as Ja Morant missed Sunday's game with a thigh injury and is questionable on Monday along with Demond Bane. As of writing this, I am going to assume the Griz aren't going to push their superstar in a game where they are 11-point favorites. That brings us to Tyus Jones who could be one of the top overall value plays on the slate once again. Guards Once again the guard we get Luka at the top of the guard position on a smaller slate but with a price quickly approaching $13K and with him dealing with a slight injury, I am going a more balanced direction tonight. Let's take a look. Klay Thompson FD - $7900 DK - $7900 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 38.45 DK - 42.57 We have multiple situations in which injuries are boosting other players and it starts with the Warriors guards as Steph Curry remains out of the lineup. Poole and Klay have taken on an incredible amount of usage in the offense but it's the latter who is not only cheaper but has been more consistent from a fantasy perspective. Going back to Christmas, Klay has averaged 26 shots a game and made the most of it with 24 or more real points and 40 or more DraftKings points in each of those games. He now gets a plus home matchup against the struggling Magic who have lost four of five while giving up an average of 121 points a game. Klay is my top PTS/$ guard in all formats. CJ McCollum FD - $8700 DK - $8500 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 40.38 DK - 44.71 It sounds like Brandon Ingram will finally return to the Pels lineup within the next week but until he does, we can comfortably roll out McCollum as a top guard, especially on a smaller slate. With Ingram out for over a month, the Pels managed to stay near the top of the Western Conference standings and a lot of that falls on McCollum who has been very consistent. Over his last 12 games, he has averaged 26.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists and has only tallied less than 40 DK points once in that time while averaging 45.6 per game. That balanced attack helps justify a rising price that is close to $9K on both sites and I will have exposure in all formats until Ingram returns. Markelle Fultz FD - $7200 DK - $6200 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 31.63 DK - 33.55 There is a real lack of value on this slate which has led me to a balanced approach and Fultz fits that mould, at least on DraftKings where the price still has...

Guards Luka Doncic FD - $12800 DK - $12600 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 61.1 DK - 62.52 On a larger slate, I might not lead off with Luka as the price is approaching $13K on both sites but with just four games I think it's crucial to lock in the insane floor he provides. He comes into the night having scored 57 or more DraftKings points in seven straight while averaging a ridiculous 77.8 along the way. The matchup isn't at the top of my list as the Celtics are 10th in defensive efficiency but Luka is practically matchup-proof at this point and a great building block in all formats. Ja Morant FD - $10500 DK - $10400 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 48.09 DK - 52.13 While Morant, or any other player for that matter, doesn't quite have the ceiling of Luka he has been incredibly consistent and more importantly comes at over a $2K discount on both sites making it a bit easier to build around. On the season, Morant has posted 40+ DraftKings points in 27 of 32 games(84%) and 50+ in 17 of those which is greater than a 53% rate and a terrific floor for fantasy. We have him meeting or exceeding that 50-point mark tonight in a plus matchup against the short-handed Magic who rank 23rd in defensive efficiency. Fire up Morant comfortably in all formats. Mike Conley FD - $6200 DK - $5700 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 30.4 DK - 32.75 Value at the guard position is scarce, so let's turn to a game with the highest total on the slate. The Jazz are 5.5-point favourites with the highest implied team total on the slate and it comes down to matchup as the Rockets have struggled mightily on the defensive end(28th in efficiency) this season.  For Conley, his usage was limited upon his return to the lineup in mid-December but that has since changed as he has taken double-digit shots in four of his last five games but it's the assists(7.8 per game) that have given him safety for fantasy averaging 31.9 DK points per game during that stretch. The injury report is also ridiculous, and we should see some big lines once again. We've had a handful of 50-point games over the last week, and it's becoming evident that these absurd stat lines are going to continue for the remainder of the season. I wasn't so sure we'd ever see a 100-point game ever again, but I'm starting to change my tune with the way people can score nowadays. It surely won't happen here, but we should see some big games from some undervalued players. That means he should play 35-40 minutes, take 20-25 shots, and flirt with a 40 percent usage rate. He's already had a few opportunities to run the show without those stars this season, averaging 25.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks in the last three games without Zion and BI. That alone makes him an amazing value below $9K, but he also faces a Rockets team that's allowing the most fantasy points to opposing guards this season. Markelle Fultz FD - $6800 DK - $6600 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 42.24 DK - 42.06 It's been a long road for Fultz to get to this point, but the 2017 number-one pick is healthy for the first time in his career. He's more than just healthy, he is also playing the best basketball of his career right now. The former Philly guard has scored at least 27 DraftKings points in eight of his last nine games, generating a 35-point average in that span. His ability to stuff the stat sheet is what makes him such a reliable option, struggling with his shot but providing a multitude of statistics. That means he has an even...

He has now dropped 80 or more DraftKings points in three straight and four of his last five games while averaging a triple-double with 45.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 10.2 assists. He has even hit that 80 or more total twice against these Rockets in which he faces again tonight. The price has only come up slightly on the best player in fantasy against a bottom-three defence. There should be more than enough value on this bigger slate to build around Luka in all formats. LaMelo Ball FD - $9700 DK - $10000 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 49.09 DK - 54 The more optimal route on this slate is probably to load up on the Lakers/Hornets game which brings us the highest total(240.5) on the slate between two teams that run a Top 10 pace. We will talk about LeBron shortly but on the other side of the ball, we have another very consistent fantasy option in LaMelo Ball. When healthy, is easily one of the best fantasy guards in the game and since returning from injury in mid-December(10 games), he has been elite dropping at least 40 DraftKings points in every game and 50 or more in six of his last seven. Like you would expect from a superstar, he contributes in all areas and is a great play to build around in all formats. Klay Thompson FD - $7600 DK - $7100 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 34.93 DK - 38.69 For the most part, we have been concentrating mostly on Jordan Poole since Stephen Curry went down with a shoulder injury but it's actually Thompson who stands out for me tonight. It starts with the obvious with Klay now cheaper than Poole on both sites while showing a little more consistency in terms of his fantasy returns. It is a small sample size but it appears Klay has found his shot lately with double-digit attempts from beyond the arc in three straight while shooting nearly 40% and providing 40+ fantasy points in each. The feisty point guard has scored at least 42 DraftKings points in 20 of his last 22 games. The only outliers were a blowout and an ejection, with Ja generating a 48-point average in that stretch. This is simply one of the best players in the NBA, and he should go nuts against the Kings. Sacramento sits 24th in points allowed and 25th in defensive efficiency. In their most recent matchup, Morant dropped 54 DraftKings points in another pristine performance. De'Aaron Fox FD - $8800 DK - $8600 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 40.4 DK - 41.07 This feels like one of those games where Fox and Morant will go at it all night. Neither of these guys are known for their defensive game, and they should thrive against one another. Fox has at least 32 DK points in eight straight games, scoring at least 43 DraftKings points in six of those. We've seen a similar floor all year, with Fox scoring at least 29 fantasy points in all but three games this year. The speedster has sliced this Grizzlies defense in their two matchups this season, averaging 51 fantasy points per game, scoring 61 DK points in their most recent meeting.
