Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Anthony Edwards FD - $9400 DK - $9100Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 49.09 DK - 52.35 Mike Conley FD - $5800 DK - $5700Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 32.96 DK - 35.74 The Timberwolves find themselves in the best fantasy situation going on Friday, facing up against the Charlotte Hornets who rank 24th in defensive efficiency and second in pace. That’s the DFS sweet spot and stacking Minnesota in cash games should have a high floor. Anthony Edwards leads the charge here, playing the most minutes on the team and carrying in incredibly high usage, especially after the trade of D’Angelo Russell at the deadline. Edwards has averaged 23.5 shots per game over the last four putting up 30+ in three of those games. It’s just too good a spot for him here and the opportunity shift means the price is still just a tad too low. And then there is Mike Conley. Bad news first: last game Conley played 33 minutes and scored exactly zero points. That won’t make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, but here we are. The good news is that he played a bunch of minutes and that should continue to be the case here. I think stacking this game as much as possible is the play and I’m willing to live with some of the downside risk Conley presents with his overall game. Jrue Holiday FD - $8000 DK - $8900Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 42.24 DK - 46.26 The Bucks are going to be without Giannis Antetokounmpo because of a wrist issue and that tends to open up opportunities nearly across the board for this team. It’s not an amazing matchup against the Heat, but a guy like Jrue Holiday is still firmly in as a play, especially on FanDuel where the price is a bit too low. Seeing as how Khris Middleton is still coming off the bench with a minutes-management piece, Holiday should take over the offense here. With Giannis off the court this season, Holiday has a 33% usage rate, the highest on the team (Giannis is 40% for the...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 2/16

Guards Jrue Holiday FD - $8000 DK - $7500 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 37.48 DK - 41.19 The system has been loving Jrue Holiday over the last week and to be honest, it hasn't been wrong. Holiday has been playing great in the short-term averaging 24.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists over the past four games while providing us 37 or more DraftKings points in each of those games and showing monster upside last game with 64 fantasy points. The Bulls are not the greatest of matchups(7th in def eff) but are playing on a back-to-back and it helps that Jrue gets all the minutes he can handle and despite playing well has not seen his price go up much at all. He is in play in all formats. Mike Conley FD - $6200 DK - $5200 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 27.83 DK - 30.77 Bradley Beal FD - $9300 DK - $7700 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 35.74 DK - 38.49 There is a lot to like about this game from a fantasy perspective as it has the highest total(234.5) on the slate and features the only two teams ranked outside the Top 10 in defensive efficiency. Let's start with some exposure to the guards and we can attack both sides here starting with Mike Conley who was a new addition to the T-Wolves at the trade deadline. He was eased into his first start playing just 26 minutes but was unleashed last game against the Mavs and looked good providing just over 31 fantasy points. At his current price, we are looking for a 28-point floor and he has tallied that in 11 straight games. On the other side of the ball, Bradley Beal is coming off a poor fantasy effort but we cannot ignore the price differential as FanDuel has him over $9K while DraftKings has dropped the price back down into the $7K. That is where I am comfortable playing Beal now that he is no longer the 30-points-per-game player he was a few years back. Before that disappointing effort last game, he was on fire tallying 40+ fantasy points five straight and more good news as he is getting the volume again. Both guards are in play in all formats. Also Consider: Terance Mann(LAC) as a value...

Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Wednesday, February 15, 2023

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 2/15/23 Coming up on the All-Star break, this used to be the halfway point, but we're nearly three-quarters of the way through the year. That means the All-Star break is a week to prepare for the final stretch run because anything can happen over the closing two months. It'll be really fun to see how Kevin Durant looks in a Phoenix uniform, and it feels like there are 10 teams in the running for a title. That's all we can hope for as NBA fans, and it'll be fun to see how everything plays out! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $9900 DK - $10400 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 51.35 DK - 51.27 Ball's season was derailed by injuries early in the year, but this stud point guard is rolling right now. LaMelo has scored at least 52 DraftKings points in five of his last six games, flirting with triple-double averages in that span. That's the stud we've been waiting to see, and Charlotte clearly wants him to be the showman for their offense. That's sensational in a matchup with the Spurs, who sit dead-last in points allowed and defensive efficiency while surrendering the most fantasy points in the NBA. They're simply the best matchup in DFS right now, with many of their stud opponents dropping 50-plus fantasy points on them on a nightly basis. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $5600 DK - $6000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 33.03 DK - 32.86 Injuries have obliterated this Boston roster. They're expected to be without Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart in this game and could be missing Robert Williams and Derrick White as well. Williams played just 12 minutes in the front end of a B2B while White stayed in Milwaukee to examine his ear. If all of those guys are out, Brogdon should start and do everything for this offense. That's scary because Brogdon is averaging 27 DraftKings points per game in a limited bench role. If he gets the 35 minutes, 15-20 shots, and 30 percent usage rate we expect, this efficiency monster should be an $8K player. The matchup with Detroit is the icing on...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 2/12

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 2/12/23 This was one of the craziest weeks of the NBA season, with the trade deadline on Thursday mucking up the whole league. It felt like every role player was shipped to a new city, and it's taken a few days to adjust to these new-look teams. Most acquisitions finally suited up on Saturday, but we don't have much of that here. In fact, we have just two games in total because it's the NFL's day to shine. They are two interesting matchups, though, and we still have plenty to discuss! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $9000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 40.22 DK - 40.64 VanVleet hasn't played up to the All-Star level we've become accustomed to, but this point guard is starting to turn his season around. The stat-stuffing guard is averaging 46 DraftKings points per game across his last 13 outings. He's also scored at least 61 DK points in three of those, flashing a 73-point upside in that span. That's brilliant from a $9K player, and it should be easy to duplicate against Detroit. The Pistons rank 29th in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. In their most recent matchup, FVV finished with 24 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists en route to 53 DK points. Killian Hayes FD - $5400 DK - $4900 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 27.21 DK - 27.59 Hayes was horrible in a bench role when he returned from an injury, but we have to assume he'll return to his early-season form since he's been reinserted into the starting lineup. In his 34 starts this season, Hayes is averaging 30 DK points per game across 30 minutes a night. He's done that with some lackluster shooting, and the stat-stuffing ways have made Hayes an excellent value in this $5K price range. He's also posting a 28-point average across his last three outings and played a career-high 39 minutes in his most recent outing. If this guy is going to play 35-40 minutes as the Pistons starting point guard, Hayes needs to be $1,000 more on both sites. Shooting Guard Derrick White FD - $6800 DK - $6700 Opponent -...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday 2/11

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday 2/11 Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, NFL optimal lineups, and our NHL Optimizer. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Guards Trae Young FD - $9700 DK - $9500 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 45.99 DK - 49.51 Trae has been one of the most consistent high-priced fantasy plays all season and has been especially dominant in the short term. He comes into Saturday with double-doubles in seven of his last eight games averaging 26.1 points/11.5 assists for 49.9 fantasy points per game. The floor is elite and we get a good shot at seeing the upside again here in a matchup against the Spurs league-worst defence playing on a back-to-back. Trae is a core play for me in all formats. Jalen Brunson FD - $7900 DK - $8600 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 41.15 DK - 41.89 Brunson has one of the safest floors in the league in terms of playing time as he is averaging 35 on the season and just over 39 per game going back to Christmas. The next part of the equation is what he does with all that playing time and over his last 19 games, he is averaging 28.5 points on 20.5 shots and has delivered an average of just over 44 fantasy points per game. He not only provides a safe floor for cash games but he also provides upside scoring 50+ fantasy points in three of his last five. There is a good chance we get a similar performance in a great matchup vs the Jazz who rank 26th in defence and 29th in fantasy points to guards. Fire up Brunson in all formats. Jordan Poole FD - $7800 DK - $7500 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 39.63 DK - 42.08 With Steph Curry still out of the lineup for the Warriors, it is a bit of a mystery to me how Poole's price has remained in the sub $8K range on both sites. Going back to the start of December, Steph has missed 15 games with Poole starting all of them, playing 35 minutes a game, averaging 28.9 points on 21.5 shots while providing us just over 40 fantasy points per game on average. This game has a very high total(238.5) and should get there as these are the #1 and #2 ranked teams in terms of pace while ranking 18th and 21st in defence. Poole is a core play in all formats. Small Forward...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Damian Lillard FD - $10400 DK - $10900Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 52.55 DK - 57.61 The Blazers sent out Josh Hart and Gary Payton at the deadline leaving the team a little thinner at guard/ wing heading into this game. But they still very much seem like a team that would like to win in the short-term, maybe making the play-in game if possible. Lillard has run major minutes lately, going 40 or more in four of the last five games. In that stretch he’s averaged 34 points, 7.4 assists, and six rebounds. The matchup against the Thunder should be up and down the court and he makes for a high floor option. Derrick White FD - $6100 DK - $6100Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 36.99 DK - 38.47 The Celtics are going to be without Jaylen Brown because of a facial fracture he suffered. This should keep Derrick White running big minutes going forward and we’ve seen him capitalize on the opportunity. He’s averaging 36 minutes a game over the last five scoring 19 points and pulling seven rebounds per game in that stretch. The pricing has creeped up but doesn’t totally reflect the opportunity and this is a great matchup against the Hornets. Jaden Ivey FD - $5600 DK - $5300Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 33.02 DK - 36.12 Killian Hayes FD - $6000 DK - $4700Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 30.84 DK - 32.61 The Pistons get one of the best matchups of the slate facing off against the Spurs. San Antonio has played the sixth-fastest pace in the league and is easily (easily!) the worst defense there is. While Detroit hasn’t wanted to always run their starters major minutes, both Jaden Ivey and Killian Hayes should push around 30 here, making them value looks on DraftKings especially. Again, even with a tanking team without tons of minutes upside, this is just the kind of spot to stack these two. Collin Sexton FD - $5200 DK - $4000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 27.1 DK - 30.2 The Jazz traded away Mike Conley, Malik Beasley and Jared Vanderbilt around...
