He dropped 34 points, added 11 assists, and grabbed eight rebounds. This is on the table for him, and the Hornets will be without Brandon Miller tonight, which could even open up more shots. Tre Mann FD - $5400 DK - $4300Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 30.03 DK - 32.38 Brandon Miller went down early in the first game of the season and will sit this one out as well. Tre Mann stepped in, played 29 minutes, and ended up with 24 points and six rebounds. His 16 shots were second only behind Ball, a promising sign for his floor in this game. It’s unclear if he’ll get the start or if it will be Josh Green (expected back tonight), but I think Mann might even be a DraftKings play off the bench at these prices. Dyson Daniels FD - $5200 DK - $4600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 34.98 DK - 35.49 Dyson Daniels was one of the big performers in the first big slate of the season, a guy we ended up with in cash games on FanDuel because of the lower pricing. He played 35 minutes, went 6-12 from the field, scored 15 points and added five steals. All of this is just a little outlier (ish), but not to a crazy degree if he’s getting all the run. Plus, the Hawks will be without Bojan Bogdanovic in this game, meaning possibly even more opportunity. Davion Mitchell FD - $4200 DK - $5300Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 24.9 DK - 27.18 Davion Mitchell looks like he’ll draw the start for the injured Immanuel Quickley, with the Raptors entering the season injured all over the place. All four are in play in this two-game slate, especially considering they have the highest implied total (223) at -5.5 favorites against the visiting Knicks. Derrick White had the best season of his career, spiking the three-point percentage to 39% while averaging a 15/5/4 line, all effectively career-highs. He’s simply too cheap on both sites, even in the $6K range. Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday saw the rate stats dip coming from Milwaukee to Boston, going down to 12.5 points and 4.8 assists, both lows compared to his Bucks tenure. But the efficiency was there, shooting 43% from beyond the arc while averaging 1.7 blocks + steals on the defensive end. I like stacking both of these Celtics guards and think in this first game there will be plenty of minutes out of the gate. D'Angelo Russell FD - $6500 DK - $6200Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 34.72 DK - 36.05 Austin Reaves FD - $6300 DK - $6000Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 31.74 DK - 32.85 The Lakers look remarkably similar to last season in terms of their starting lineup, without too much in the way of upgrades in the backcourt specifically. While LeBron James remains the de facto point guard on this team, there should be plenty of minutes for both D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves here. Sure, there’s Gabe Vincent hanging around on the bench, but the starters should see minutes in the 30s+ in J.J. Redick’s team. Small Forward Jayson Tatum FD - $9600 DK - $9000Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 46.48 DK - 47.97 It’s tough to get away from a Celtics stack on Tuesday in cash, mostly because the team’s production is just so concentrated to the top four guys. That means spending up at guard will be pretty easy. The Hawks can clinch the play-in with a win tonight and there’s a world where they are still fighting for the 9th seed which would make at least a little difference. Jalen Johnson is back which does take a few shots off the board, but it’s still tough to fade Dejounte Murray as long as he’s running the show. Foul trouble buzzed off the minutes last game, but he should be in the 40-ish range as long as the game stays moderately close. The Pistons are one of the best matchups on the board. Anthony Edwards FD - $9300 DK - $9400Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 48.57 DK - 52.28 The Timberwolves also draw a great matchup against the no-defense Toronto Raptors and are big favorites in this game. Unlike some of the other guards, Anthony Edwards is a bit more dependent on his scoring output, which makes him a bit riskier. But the matchup is elite, the Timberwolves are double-digit favorites in the game, and the floor should be high enough at these price points. His scoring is down over the last four games thanks, in part, to shooting 1-24 from three in that stretch. That simply won’t last. Damian Lillard FD - $9000 DK - $8800Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 47.97 DK - 51.91 After losing last night, it does look like Damian Lillard will be back for the Bucks, with the possibility that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton could sit out for rest. Even with Lillard working his way back from injury if he was running the show then the price isn’t enough to really worry about. He’s two games removed from taking 29 shots in the double-overtime loss to the Lakers. And over the last month, he’s averaging 19 shots, 24.5 points, and 8.4 assists per game with the Bucks at relatively full...

He’s triple-doubled in eight of his last ten games, averaging 32/10.6/10 over the month of March. It’s an elite run, unlike much else we’ve seen from a fantasy perspective. If there are any savings at all throughout the rest of the slate (and there will be), then Luka makes as high floor a play as you can make. De'Aaron Fox FD - $9600 DK - $9300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 50.52 DK - 53.35 If you don’t want to pay through the nose for Luka and can stomach the fade, then De'Aaron Fox and the Kings guys are in as good a spot as you can get for a DFS slate. They play the Wizards, who aren’t only the worst defensive efficiency team in the league but also run the fastest pace as well. If the game can stay close (a big “if”), then Fox should see high 30s minutes, putting up shots in the high teens. He’s had some ceiling games of late for sure, and this matchup is just too good to pass up. Miles McBride FD - $5200 DK - $4700Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 28.16 DK - 30.23 Miles McBride got the start last game with OG Anunoby back on the shelf and should again here on Thursday. In true Tom Thibodeau fashion, Deuce went out and basically ran the entire time. He played 47 in regulation, finishing with 29 points on 9-13 shooting. Now, it should be mentioned that there was very little else to speak of, tallying just two assists and a rebound in all that time. And over the last month or so, he’s averaging a crazy 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists per game. A true triple-double every single night has him making sense even at these crazy prices. Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $8600Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 47.21 DK - 50.2 The Rockets are still without Alperen Sengun and will be for the foreseeable future. That’s left a lot of production for the dudes who remain with Fred VanVleet, getting major minutes and usage in the short term. His shots per game are up about 15% and over the last three, he’s averaging 20 points, 10.7 assists, and five rebounds. Sure, the price has come up, but it’s in line with production. Now, he gets the league’s worst defense in the Washington Wizards who are playing shorthanded. This is a very easy play. Jalen Green FD - $7900 DK - $8100Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 43.09 DK - 47.09M Similarly, Jalen Green has become a much more reliable fantasy threat in the short term with Sengun on the shelf. And over the last month, the dude has seen a steady diet of minutes and shots. He’s averaging almost 25 points per game in that stretch, taking more than 20 shots in each of his last two games as well. Green can heat check with the best of them and the price on both sites is still totally reasonable considering the context and the matchup. Amen Thompson (FD 7800 DK 5900) is still very much in play on DraftKings. He draws one of the best DFS matchups around against the Indiana Pacers who are tied for the fastest pace in the league. The game total is sitting at a whopping 247, significantly above every other game on the slate save one. SGA has put himself in the MVP discussion by averaging 31 points, 6.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.1 steals + blocks. It’s an overwhelming line stacked with a game that could be a track meet. Jalen Brunson FD - $8900 DK - $8500Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 45.97 DK - 48.49 The Thunder get to play the Pacers, and the Knicks run up against the Wizards. Washington is one of the best DFS matchups around, running the fastest pace (tied with the Pacers) while also ranking second-to-last in defensive efficiency. It’s the perfect meeting point when trying to round out DFS rosters. Jalen Brunson is coming off back-to-back 30-point games in the last two and is averaging career-highs in points and assists. Sitting below $9K on both sites, he’s a cash game play for sure. Kevin Huerter FD - $5500 DK - $5200Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 30.85 DK - 33.39 We will need some cheaper options for this slate in order to roster the SGAs and Brunsons of the world. Kevin Huerter (mostly) fits the bill here, coming in the $5K range on both sites. He’s reentered the Kings’ starting lineup for the last two games, playing 39 and 26 minutes, respectively. Foul trouble bit him a bit last game, but in general he’s been solid, putting up 23 shots in that span. With a fast-paced game coming against the Pacers, the shot volume should be there for Huerter who definitely needs to knock down threes in order to hit value.
