Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/18/16 March Madness is upon us and it feels so good. As I'm writing this only one big upset has occurred, although a 12 over a 5 doesn't really seem like an upset anymore because it happens so often. But anyways, another way to supplement your love for postseason college basketball is with some DFS, and we've got you covered with some of our favorite value plays for Friday's massive slate. If you've got some ideas or questions about any of the picks, feel free to drop a comment below and as always, best of luck during this month of madness. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Gary Payton IIFD - 9400 DK - 10100 My favorite big dollar guy on the slate today is Gary Payton II, the senior guard out of Oregon State. I love Payton because he’s similar to Denzel Valentine in that he does everything for his team, but he comes in at about a 20% discount. Payton II leads his team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals, so you know he’s going to be relied on heavily today against VCU. The Rams are about an average defensive team, and don’t really have any defensively intimidating guards who can shut Payton down. The O/U on this game is decent, and the spread is pretty close, so I fully expect Payton II to get his normal minutes and put up big numbers in this one. Buddy Hield FD - 9100 DK - 10600 I don’t like the price on DraftKings, but the FanDuel price has come down enough to where I think Hield makes a terrific value play. Hield is the second leading scorer in the country at 25 ppg, and has an insanely high usage rate of 30.5%. The potential for a big scoring game is definitely here because Bakersfield doesn’t have anyone who can effectively matchup with Hield on the perimeter. There is some concern for a blowout in this one, but I still think that Hield will get enough minutes and usage in this one to reach value. Isaiah Miles FD - 8300 DK - 8600 Another guy I really like who’s a bit cheaper than the aforementioned guys is Isaiah Miles out of St. Joseph’s. The senior forward has truly been an offensive force this season, leading the Hawks in scoring and rebounding, all while shooting 53% from the floor, 39% from 3,...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/17/16 The real March Madness kicks off this Thursday and I for one could not be more excited. Now I know a lot of you are probably stressing over your brackets (myself included), so why not take some time off from that and play some CBB DFS? Even if your bracket gets busted (and let’s be real, that’s going to happen to most of us), you can still cash in this CBB postseason by following our top picks from each slate that the NCAA tournament has to offer. CBB can be tough to pick, especially when there are so many games with massive spreads, but we’ve done our best to look at each game and determine the players that have the most value (in our expert opinion). Now let’s get to the picks, and good luck this tournament season! Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Isaiah Whitehead FD - 10600 DK - 8800 One of my favorite high priced guys on the slate today is Isaiah Whitehead out of Seton Hall. This guy has had a great season for the Pirates, averaging 18 ppg, 5 apg, and over 2.5 blocks/steals per game on the season. He’s also been on an insanely hot scoring streak as of late, scoring over 20 points in 9 of his last 10 games. Seton Hall relies on this kid to do everything for them, which can be seen by his absurd usage rate that’s over 31%, which is one of the highest in the country. He’s got a great matchup going up against a Gonzaga team that has a tough time defending the perimeter. The O/U is high and the spread in this one is close, so I think Whitehead should get his normal run in this one, and I fully expect him to have another monster game. Ben Bentil FD - 10200 DK - 9800 Another Big East guy who’s had a lot of success this season is Ben Bentil, the athletic forward out of Providence. I know the Friars have Kris Dunn, but Bentil leads the team in scoring, rebounding, shots, and usage so you know he’s going to be the focal point of the offense against the Trojans. Unfortunately for USC they’ve had a really tough time defending the paint this season, and have one of the worst scoring defenses in the country. Like the previous matchup, the O/U is high and...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 3/15/16

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/15/16 We've finally made it to the big dance, and today the NCAA tournament officially kicks off. On a lesser note, the NIT is also getting into full swing tonight, and that's where we find the majority of the games on the slate tonight. I love tourney time in college basketball, and what better way to celebrate then with some DFS to go along with it. Here are the guys I like the most from tonight's massive 10 game slate. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Pascal Siakam FD - 10300 DK - 10200 He’s the highest priced guy on the slate, but he’s also the guy most likely to put up a 40 spot, so we’ll kick things off with Pascal Siakam out of New Mexico State. For those of you who have never heard of him (and let’s be honest, 95% of you probably haven’t), this guy has been an absolute stud this year, averaging over 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. Those are insane numbers for college basketball, and the kid is only a sophomore. Now let’s talk about the matchup. Saint Mary’s is a good team for sure, but they don’t have the strongest rebounding frontcourt, which means Siakam could have a field day on the glass. As long as the Aggies can keep this one close, I like Siakam to have the highest output of this slate. Dorian Finney-Smith FD - 9100 DK - 8200 I’ve written him up in his last two games, and he’s produced some pretty solid numbers against strong SEC competition. No disrespect to North Florida, but if this guy can hurt teams like Kentucky and Texas A&M, watch out. Keep in mind he did all of this with John Egbunu playing (although it was reported he was doubtful, but somehow he still managed to get out there), and now it’s being reported that Egbunu might not even travel with the team for their first round NIT matchup. This should free up even more shots, rebounds, and minutes for Finney-Smith. This game also has a massive O/U, so I’m expecting Finney-Smith to have a big-time double-double in this one. Dallas Moore FD - 9300 DK - 8700 I just mentioned the massive O/U, and that’s a big reason why I’m giving you Moore here as one of my favorite high-priced guys. This guy has been sensational this year,...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 3/13/16

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/13/16 Tournament time is upon us, and I for one couldn’t be more excited. Postseason college basketball is arguably the most exciting time in all of sports, so why not amp up the excitement a little bit with some daily fantasy college basketball? I mean hey, even if you don’t have a favorite college team, everyone likes winning some extra cash right? We’ve got two pretty sizable slates coming up today so let’s get to it. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Denzel Valentine FD - 11800 DK - 11900 I don’t normally recommend playing guys with a price tag this high, but on a short slate I think I’ll make an exception for arguably the best player in college basketball this year. Valentine has been sensational this year, averaging 19 ppg, 7 rpg and 7 apg while leading Michigan State to a potential #1 seed for the NCAA tournament. Valentine has one of the highest usage rates in the country, and Michigan State relies on him to do everything for them on the offensive end. In his last 10 games, he’s never scored below x3 value, and in his last matchup with Purdue, he went for 27 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. On a slate as short as this, I can’t think of a safer place to park your money than Valentine. Dedric Lawson FD - 9700 DK - 9300 I wrote about him yesterday and he delivered, but the narrative has changed so I feel like I need to explain this pick a little more. Lawson is the focal point of a Memphis offense that loves to get into the paint and get to the foul line as much as possible. This can be especially effective against the Huskies given that their guards play excellent on-ball defense. I figured Uconn was going to tire out against Temple, but boy did they prove me wrong. I’m betting that they’ll feel some fatigue a little more in this one, which gives Lawson an excellent opportunity to build on his already great season. Jamal Murray FD - 9800 DK - 8800 I would be doing everyone a disservice if I didn’t at least mention the hottest scoring guard in college basketball. Murray has been on an absolute tear in his last 10 games, scoring at least 21 points in all 10 of those games. In addition, he’s gone over 32 FD...

Click here to sign up Upper Tier Malcolm Brogdon FD - 9000 DK - 7900 My favorite high priced guy from a PPD standpoint has to be Malcolm Brogdon. The senior guard from Virginia has been great this season, and he’s been hot as of late, scoring over 30 FD points in 6 of his last 7 games. This includes a matchup against UNC in which Brogdon put up 42.7 FD points, his highest output of the season. I think that his price hasn’t quite caught up to his production yet, so I’m buying Brogdon everywhere. Now this isn’t saying that any of the guys priced above 10k are going to have bad games or anything, but they have to have exceptional games to reach the value that a guy like Brogdon needs to hit value. Dedric Lawson FD - 9700 DK - A little more expensive than Brogdon, but Lawson from Memphis does have a terrific matchup and some absolutely huge upside in this one. Tulane does not have a single guy on their roster who can matchup with Lawson physically, and it showed in their last matchup in which Lawson dropped 25 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks/steals. He’s been an absolute fantasy beast this season, scoring over 30 FD points in 9 of his last 10 games, and I don’t see any reason for that trend to come to a stop in this one. He's not available on DraftKings in this one, but I love his upside on FanDuel even at these high prices. A.J Hammons FD - 8500 DK - 8000 A little bit of an off-beat pick here for a tournament is A.J Hammons out of Purdue. This senior forward has been a strong presence inside all year for the Boilermakers, averaging 14 points, 7 rebounds, and an astonishing 2.5 blocks per game on the season. I love the matchup with a tired, undersized Michigan team...

Click here to sign up Upper Tier Dorian Finney-Smith FD - 8900 DK - 7700 This is what I wrote for Finney-Smith for yesterday’s game, and it pretty much holds true. If Egbunu doesn’t play again, Finney-Smith is a must play in my book. Finding players who will get a bump in usage and potentially minutes due to injury is always beneficial in DFS, and Dorian Finney-Smith should be able to take advantage of that very situation. John Egbunu is doubtful for Thursday’s game, making Finney-Smith far and away the best Florida option down low. This guy has been very consistent as of late, scoring over 22 FD points in 8 of his last 10 games, making him a pretty safe option even without the injury situation. Arkansas has a terrible team defense, Finney-Smith put up 22 points and 9 rebounds against the Razorbacks in their last meeting, and the increased usage should make for a big game. Yogi Ferrell FD - 8200 DK - 8200 Another guy I really like is Yogi Ferrell, the senior PG from Indiana. He’s really come into his own this year, leading Indiana in scoring and assists while leading them to the Big Ten regular season title. Since his backcourt mate Robert Johnson went down with an injury, Ferrell has been averaging 20.5 ppg and has scored over 27 FD points in all 4 of the games he’s played in. Michigan has a pretty stout defense, but Ferrell is a guy who can get his regardless of the matchup. Ben Simmons FD - 11700 DK - 11800 I’ve always resisted the urge to play Ben Simmons because his price is just so absurdly high, but I feel like he at least deserves a mention because he may very well be worth the price tag tonight. This guy has been the best college basketball player (statistically) this year, and he’s put up at least 40 FD points in 8 of his...
