Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 2/23/17 Basketball is back! After a grueling week off, we return to a completely different NBA. With DeMarcus Cousins being traded to the Pelicans, we will have a lot to look at moving forward. Today is also the trade deadline, so make sure you keep an eye out for news. This is a 6 game slate with plenty of option sat all positions and plenty of different value options. There shouldn't be too much ownership overlap, which always makes things a bit more fun in tournaments. Let's take a look at the top options at each position! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point Guard Darren Collison FD - $5500 DK - $7400 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 30.76 DK - 32.5 Collison is still a member of the Sacramento Kings as of Wednesday night, though we're unsure if that lasts through tomorrow's deadline. The Kings come into the game extremely shorthanded, with just Lawson and Collison as the two point guards. Tyreke Evans could see some minutes at point guard, but will likely come off the bench with the 2nd unit and jack up a bunch of shots. Collison saw over 40 minutes in 3 of his last 4 before the ASB and while I don't think he gets there tonight, he should get to at least 36. The Denver Nuggets offer a solid match-up, as Jameer Nelson is not a guy to be scared of. He hasn't been able to guard a good scorer in 5 years, let alone a guy like Collison who can shoot off the dribble or drive to the rim. Make sure you keep an eye out for trade news up until 3 P.M, which is when rosters will be set in stone. If Collison remains on the Kings, he is a solid play in both cash games and tournaments. His floor sits around 25 here with a ceiling that exceeds 40. Kemba Walker FD - $7700 DK - $7700 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 40.62 DK - 43.56 Kemba finished off the first half of the season with 2 fantastic games, scoring 43 fantasy points in each. Walker was struggling for a bit there, but it looks like he got his groove back before the break. Walker has been playing huge minutes as well, topping 35...

2017 MLB DFS Preview – AL East

2017 MLB DFS Preview - AL East Welcome to the first in DFSR's series of MLB previews as we look ahead to the 2017 MLB season for FanDuel and DraftKings. Here we'll catch you up, division-by-division on player movement, projected rotations, and how teams improved (or not so much). Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. We've got you completely covered.   Baltimore Orioles 2016 record - 89-73 (3rd in East) Additions Seth Smith - Trade w/ Mariners Welington Castillo - 2 year, $13 million Losses Yovani Gallardo - Trade w/ Mariners Vance Worley Pedro Alvarez Tommy Hunter Drew Stubbs Matt Wieters Nolan Reimold Steve Pearce Projected rotation 1. Chris Tillman 2. Kevin Gausman 3. Dylan Bundy 4. Wade Miley 5. Ubaldo Jimenez Outlook This is a pretty rough rotation. With the Orioles playing in one of the best hitter parks in the league, we will be targeting opponents a ton. Chris Tillman and Kevin Gausman are both very serviceable, but they don't offer anywhere near the same upside the ace and 2 should provide. Dylan Bundy is probably the guy who has the most upside, as he has been one of the biggest MLB prospects for years now. Bundy was pretty good last year, with a wOBA in the .320's vs both lefties and righties. He did strikeout almost a batter per inning, solid and just a tick below elite. On the backend of the rotation, we have Wade Miley and Ubaldo Jimenez. These guys are both dumpster fires. I don't expect either of these guys to last it to the All-Star break, and we will target agains them nearly every time they pitch. Miley was horrible against righties last year, giving up a .360 wOBA combined with a 4.14 xFIP & 1.53 HR/9. I can't wait to play some hitters against him especially in that park. As for Jimenez, he is bad against both lefties and righties, and we will target him heavily anywhere he takes the bump. Projected lineup C - Welington Castillo 1st - Chris Davis 2nd - Jonathan Schoop 3rd - Manny Machado SS - J.J. Hardy LF - Hyun-soo Kim CF - Adam Jones RF - Mark Trumbo DH - Seth Smith & Nolan Reimold Outlook The Orioles did a whole lot of subtracting this off-season, and not too much adding. Welington is a good hitting catcher, but is nothing special and...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 2/16/17

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 2/16/17 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Thaddeus Young has been ruled out Thad has been out for a while, so this is no surprise. With Lavoy Allen questionable as well, things could get weird. We will touch on Seraphin in a bit, though he could be an interesting punt. Dwyane Wade has been ruled out against the Celtics Was was up in the air for this one, so it's nice to get some clarity way before lock. Jimmy Butler gets a big spike here as he has already been denounced of any minutes limit he may have had. He is an elite play in all formats. What We're Waiting to Know Lavoy Allen is questionable to play vs the Wizards With Thad Young already ruled out, the pacers could become very thin. Washington does play pretty big, so if Lavoy is out, Seraphin will have to play big minutes. He might no have much upside, but is a very solid option in cash on such a short slate. C.J. Miles could also see some extra shots and is a tournament option. The "Every Lineup" Guys Jimmy Butler Both of these guys were touched on in the main picks article and the reasonings stand. With Wade announced out, Butler gets another bump up. The Celtics are also without Avery Bradley, so Butler won;t have to worry about seeing an elite defender. Jae Crowder will cover him for most of the game and lacks the speed to stay with him on the perimeter. Butler is the top option at SF in both cash games and tournaments. He offers an extremely solid floor as well as a terrific ceiling. Marcus Smart Smart has been one of the more consistent guards in the east, finishing over 30 fantasy points on a regular basis. He gets the Bulls tonight, who haven't done a great job so far against guards. With Wade out, Jimmy Butler has moved to the 3, which will cause MCW...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard John Wall FD - $10400 DK - $10700 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 47.54 DK - 50.89 With only 2 games on this slate, we have to give a long hard look at each and every superstar. Wall and the Wizards will face off with the Pacers tonight, who play very pace-neutral, though they prefer to play fast. Jeff Teague is a very average defender, giving up almost 50 FPPG to PG's since the start of the season. His price has definitely risen, but it's worth it. Wall has consistently been over 45 FP, with a consistent ceiling around 65 or 70. Without many other ways to pay up tonight, Wall is solid in all formats. Vegas has this game sitting at a 217 over/under with a -2.5 line, which suggests everyone will play big minutes. Indiana has played much better at home this year, so I wouldn't worry about the blowout at all here. With the obvious lack of options at PG, Wall will be high owned. However, everything is relative on a 2 game slate, including % owned. Wall has been playing huge minutes, as that's really the only way the Wizards can win. Wall is as safe a bet as you can find at any spot tonight and obviously has immense upside as well. Get some exposure. Isaiah Thomas FD - $10000 DK - $9300 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 45.93 DK - 48.81 Isaiah Thomas comes in as our second stud PG along with John Wall. They are pretty close for us and you can really go either way. There is an argument for going both, but you will be forced to uncomfortably pay down elsewhere. However, that's a move that could certainly pay off in the long run. Thomas will likely be covered by the likes of Carter-Williams and Jerian grant to start. He will absolutely demolish both of them and likely see Jimmy Butler by the time the 4th quarter rolls around. While Butler is a dominant defender, Thomas has shown his ability to obliterate some of the best on-ball defenders in the league. This is a guy who is 100% unstoppable at times, which is usually every single 4th quarter. While his floor...

What We Know Mason Plumlee & Serge Ibaka will both make there debut tonight Plumlee could see big minutes tonight, according to Mike Malone. I think he is a very interesting option against a Timberwolves team that has bene giving up big numbers to centers and power forwards. As for Ibaka, he will face off with the Hornets. He certainly has the upside, but I'll personally be taking a wait and see approach on this offense. What We're Waiting to Know Klay Thompson is officially listed as questionable Thompson looks to be truly 50/50 here, as I haven't seen much of a read on either side. If Thompson plays, we know the drill. Everyone is in play. if Thompson is out, everyone receives a slight usage and shot boost. Ian Clark and Andre Iguodala also become great GPP options. Wilson Chandler has been upgraded to questionable This definitely hurts Will Barton and Juancho Hernangomez. Both of them are still in play either way, but make much better plays with Chandler out. Barton is my favorite of the two and I think he could have another huge night. Chandler is an interesting GPP flier if he plays. The "Every Lineup" Guys Giannis Antetokounmpo We talked about Giannis in the main picks article and he remains a great play for the same reasons. The Nets still play super fast and they still lack the ability to play defense. Giannis is a do-it-all type of player and will have his way with this team. They have played twice already this season, where Giannis had 2 very productive games. With so many other ways to pay up, he could also go a bit under-owned. Giannis is out favorite superstar on the board and is a lock for all formats. Channing Frye Channing Frye figures to see another 30 minutes tonight against a defense very similar to the one they played last night in Minnesota. Frye has been great this...
