Jose Quintana 2. Carlos Rodon 3. James Shields 4. Miguel Gonzalez 5. Derek Holland Outlook The AL Central sees a lot of change this year as the identity of a lot of teams are gone. That certainly includes the White Sox, who traded away Chris Sale for the number 2 prospect in baseball Yoan Moncada. The rotation as a whole will take a huge hit with one of the absolute best pitchers in baseball disappearing. Jose Quintana will step into the "ace" role and do his best to follow in Sale's footsteps. He's really the only consistent arm in the rotation with a sub 3.88 FIP in 4 straight seasons. Quintana also removed the slider from his repertoire last season, letting him focus on his other pitchers. In turn, he upped his K% on every pitch and lowered his BB rate. Quintana is a solid pitcher and we will look to target him against teams that struggle stringing together runs, like the Rays or Padres. Carlos Rodon follows and has the most upside in this rotation. The Sox drafted Rodon just two years ago in 2014, taking just one season to get all the way to AAA and to the majors in the next. He is now a guy they will rely on heavily for success as the rest of this rotation is extremely unreliable. Rodon pitched 165 innings last season on route to a 9.16 K/9 and allowed a low 27% hard contact rate. On the contrary, he walked nearly 3 batters per 9 innings. If Rodon is able to get more control on his fastball, he will absolutely be dominant. However, I doubt he perfects anything at just 24 years old. He is a guy you can target in almost any matchup GPP's as he has the upside to strikeout 12 at any time. He also has the...

We've got you completely covered. Lakers @ Rockets - We could fill this write up with picks from this game. The truth is this game is extremely unpredictable and it could go a ton of different ways. With the Rockets being favored by 17, I wouldn't be surprised to see an early blowout. However, if the Lakers keep it close we should see some huge DFS performances. Clarkson and Randle are my favorite two Lakers with Harden and Capela my favorite Rockets. Ivica Zubac has also been great lately and could be in play once again. Point Guard Patrick Mills FD - $4400 DK - $5300 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 27.32 DK - 29.66 Both Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray are questionable with injuries, which could lead to Mills being close to a must play. Parker and Murray were both out last game, which turned into a fantastic game for Mills, finishing with 15 points, 9 assists, and 35 fantasy points. This pick is contingent on these guys being out, so make sure to keep an eye out for the news article later in the day. If Parker and Murray do sit, Mills becomes one of the better options on the slate. Damian Lillard and the Blazers have been horrible against PG's, allowing over 48 fantasy points per game to the position. Mills is a guy Popovich has full trust in and he won't really have a chance, mostly due to Bryn Forbes just not being good enough to get substantial minutes at point guard against Damian Lillard. Mills is also a pretty good PG defender, so I could see him matching up with Lillard down the stretch. As a wrap, if Parker and Murray are ruled out, Mills is great everywhere. Update: Tony Parker is now questionable which could put Mills out of the value arena Mike Conley FD - $8000 DK - $7600 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 38.02 DK - 40.35 Conley isn't the most exciting PG in the league, but he surely gets it done. Conley has typically sat around 40 FP as of late, with a few games over and a few under. The match-up with the Bulls is a great one for Conley as they just don't have anyone to match...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/14/17 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. What We Know With Robert Covington being upgraded to probable, there isn't much injury news on the day. Dante Cunningham is the only guy questionable and he isn't a guy who makes much of an impact. All games will be played that are in question due to the stroms This is just a go ahead on the east coast games. They looked to be in jeopardy earlier in the day but are good to go now. Warriors starters will play after resting last game Curry, Thompson, and Draymond Green all rested against the Spurs. They will be back in full force tonight and ready to start another win streak. The "Every Lineup" Guys DeMarcus Cousins Cousins is one of my favorite options on the board tonight in what figures to be a very fast-paced game. Cousins and Davis will both be popular tonight, but I think Cousins comes in a bit lower-owned and there are some options that I like at PF. In turn, Cousins is who we prefer here in both cash and tourneys. He will face off with Jusuf Nurkic, who is far too slow and unathletic to stay with Boogie. While Nurkic has hightened the Portland interior defense, they are still one of the worst interiors in the game. Victor Oladipo Oladipo may not be the elusive scorer that Westbrook is or anywhere near the rebounder,r but he's been getting it done. With Westbrook insanely expensive (albeit a fantastic play), you may want some cheaper exposure. Oladipo certainly gives you that at under $6.5k on both sites. The Nets are one of the absolute best match-ups in the league from SG's as they have given up over 41 FP per game to the respective position. Oladipo is a quality play in all formats. What We Know LaMarcus Aldridge, Tony Parker, and Dejounte Murray have been ruled out against the Hawks Aldridge and Parker both play huge roles on this offense, so their absence leaves a lot to be picked up. Dejounte Murray is also the backup of Parker, so they will be short at PG. Patty Mills is one of the top plays on this slate and we will touch on him later. With Leonard also questionable, the Spurs as a whole may be very short-handed. David Lee and Dewayne Dedmon are both in play with Lee being the much better option. What We're Waiting to Know Kawhi leonard is currently listed as questionable With 3 players already out for the Spurs, they will be very reliant on Leonard if he plays. For that reason, I do like him in tournaments if he's active. If he misses like expected, Kyle Anderson, David Lee, and Patty Mills all get a bump. They will each pick up a few extra minutes and have a much higher usage. Lee and Mills are cash game options while Anderson is a guy I will only have in tournaments. Rudy Gobert went through shootaround and is listed as questionable Gobert missed last game against the Thunder, resulting in a whole lot of nothing. With Withey struggling, the Jazz spread the minutes around to Withey, Bolomboy, and Trey Lyles. Withey has a little bit of upside in this match-up as he will be needed to match the size of DeAndre Jordan. He did play extremely well last season with Rudy Gobert out for a couple of months. Wilson Chandler and Jameer Nelson are questionable to play vs the Lakers Both Chandler and Nelson play big roles on this team and r equally valuable at their positions. If Nelson gets ruled out, you almost have to play Jamal Murray. They have been getting him more minutes and you can hypothetically lock him in for 35 if...

We've got you completely covered. Early game - Chicago Bulls @ Boston Celtics There is a game at 3:30 between the Bulls and Celtics that isn't included on the main slate. I kept these guys out of the article as they will be irrelevant for most. If you are playing the early slate, there are a couple of ways to go here. On the Bulls, Jimmy Butler is the only guy I have interest in. He may draw Avery Bradley defense in the 4th quarter but should do just fine in the end. On the Celtics, I have interest in Al Horford and Avery Bradley. Horford has a great match-up with Robin Lopez and is still underpriced. As for Bradley, he's ridiculously under-priced and will be a lock for any cash games I have in the early slate. Make sure he's playing as he is coming off a lengthy injury. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9000 DK - $9000 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 43.21 DK - 46.49 We have a 5 game main-slate on our hands tonight, with 5 pretty interesting games from a DFS perspective. This affair between the Blazers and Suns is certainly one of the games we will be targeting a ton as it holds a 230 over/under with just a 1 point line. Lillard is the top offensive option for the Blazers and should shoot at least 20 times. The Blazers did play last night, which is a tad bit concerning. However, Lillard has played over 30 minutes in every back-to-back set this year.  Eric Bledsoe will likely draw the match-up and have trouble covering Lillard all game long. Bledsoe is a decent individual defender, but struggles with on and off-ball screens. This Blazers lives and dies off of off-ball screens to get open, so this could be trouble. Lillard is the 2d highest price PG on FD so I could see his ownership being a little lower than expected. Lillard is one of the safer options on the slate in both cash games and tournaments. Derrick Rose FD - $6500 DK - $6300 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 33.47 DK - 35.41 D-Rose had his first off-game in a while yesterday, finishing with just 14 fantasy points on just 11...
