What We Know Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala will sit for rest purposes Matt Barnes is really the only guy I see getting a big bump here. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will both pick up a few more shots and have increased usage. Kevin Looney and David West may get some minutes, but I have not interest. Tristan Thompson will sit out against the Celtics with a sprained thumb With Thompson out, I expect Love to play the 5 here. The Celtics don't have a crazy interior presence and he should be able to handle Horford pretty well. Lary Sander and Channing Frye could also see a few minutes at the 5, but are unnecessary. What We're Waiting to Know Jae Crowder is a GTD against the Cavs Crowder is a big part of this offense and he will do his absolute best to make sure he plays. Even if he plays, I don't think he will be 100%. If he's out, you have to like Isaiah Thomas and Jaylen Brown. Both will get bumps and Avery Bradley could also see some time at the 3. Dirk Nowitzki, Harrison Barnes, Seth Curry, Devin Harris, and J.J. Barea are all questionable Ummmm.... who knows. These guys have no incentive to play and I wouldn't be surprised to see any of them sit. No matter what, I don't think anyone on this team sees crazy minutes tonight. Nerlens Noel is really good and makes sense in tournaments. He could see 40 fantasy points in only 30 minutes. Kyle Lowry is questionable to return tonight against the Pistons If Lowry returns, I will stay away from the Raptors. The Pistons play slow and don't give up too much to guards. If Lowry remains out, DeRozan is a good tournament option. With that being said, I like the Rockets SG's a lot, so I doubt I will have too much exposure. The "Every Lineup" Guys Lou Williams Sweet...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Rich Hill FD 9600 DK 10800 Opponent - SD (Cahill) Park - @LAD FD - 42.99 DK - 28.26 Kenta Maeda got off to a rocky start against the Padres last night and only lasted 4 innings. He did start to figure things out, but was yanked due to pitch count and fear of the big inning. The Padres remain horrible and Rich Hill will be the guy who takes advantage tonight. Hill was dominant against both righties and lefties in 2016, sporting a sub .244 wOBA against both sides. The Padres are worse against lefties, as guys like Schimpf and Solarte have more power against right-handers. Hill is expensive and rightfully so. He has ELITE numbers and gets an ideal match-up here with a Padres team that throws out by far the worst lineup in baseball. Wil Myers is the only real issue and Hill should be able to rack up the strikeouts outside of him. Hill just isn't a guy I think we look to have the same hiccups as most. In 2016, Hill only gave up 4 home runs in over 100 innings of work. Hill has ace stuff and can put it to the test at any point. The Dodgers are the biggest favorite on this slate and the Padres are slated to only score 2.59 runs. Hill is the easy cash game choice and has more than enough upside in tournaments. Michael Pineda FD 8200 DK 8400 Opponent - TB (Cobb) Park - @TB FD - 34.85 DK - 22.96 After Rich Hill, I have no cash game comfort in anyone. There are a few more pitchers with tournament appeal, but none of them even compare to the cash game play Rich Hill is. Looking a bit more towards tournaments, Michael Pineda should be able to have success against this Rays team. They strikeout a ton and Pineda has the stuff to give them huge problems. Pineda has the tools to be a top 10 starter. With a snapping fastball and 2 other ++ pitches, Pineda has the upside to strikeout 10 batters at any time. Unfortunately, he can't locate pitches all too well, told too well by his 2.72 BB/9 in 2016. Pineda will look to contain...

What We Know Jusuf Nurkic remains out for the rest of the regular season with a tibia fracture Nurkic has been out for a couple games, but we still don't really know what to look for. Sure, Noah Vonleh and Meyers Leonard will see most of the minutes. They are both interesting plays, but not so much against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz interior. Lillard and McCollum also see a few more shots and are excellent plays tonight in tournaments. Dirk Nowitzki, Seth Curry and Wes Matthews will not play against the Kings Dirk has no reason to suit up and he'll likely sit out for the rest of the year. Nerlens Noel becomes one of the top plays on the slate and I love him against the Kings. Dwight Powell also has upside, but we have seen him disappoint plenty of times in spots just as good. With Barnes also questionable, the wings could be pretty bad. Manny Harris and Dorian Finney-Smith should both get substantial minutes if Barnes is ruled out. Still out - Derrick Rose, Robert Covington, George Hill, Will Barton, Malcolm Brogdon What We're Waiting to Know Marc Gasol, Jamychal Green, and Tony Allen are all questionable against the Spurs Gasol and Green have been out for a few games, so we know what happens if they miss. Zach Randolph and Brandan Wright are both interesting plays in cash and tournaments. If Allen is out, I think Vince Carter and James Ennis see secured minutes. I'm willing to play either in the right tournament. Harrison Barnes is questionable to play for rest purposes The Mavs have no incentive to win, so it makes sense giving Barnes a game off if he's tired. With Seth Curry and Wes Matthews already ruled out, we may see Manny Harris and Dorian Finney-Smith get big minutes. They are both interesting plays against a Kings team who doesn't play much defense. The "Every Lineup" Guys LeBron...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 4/4/17 Opening day was fun! Bryce Harper hit a home run, Clayton Kershaw dominated, and water is wet. We have our first "regular" slate of the season tonight, starting at 7 PM eastern. We have a strong 8-game slate with plenty of interesting ways to go at pitcher. We also have a few lineups in great spots against pitchers who probably shouldn't be pitching this early in the year. Let's take a look at the top options at each position. Remember, feel free to comment below or take part in the live chat at the bottom right of the page. You can also find me @VarneyDFS on twitter. We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Kenta Maeda FD 8600 DK 9600 Opponent - SD (Richard) Park - @LAD FD - 36.3 DK - 23.71 Wow, it's great to have baseball back. With the recent mess the NBA has been, I've never wanted MLB DFS more. Opening day was a lot of fun, with a few dominant pitchers and a few offenses scoring 7+ runs. We have a solid 8 game slate on our hands tonight, with a bunch of above average pitchers at the helm. Still, there aren't many safe options. Maeda is the safest of the bunch and the guy we will look towards in cash games. Facing off with the Padres, Maeda should be able to mow through this lineup with ease. The Padres have found a way to get even worse this year, with Yangervis Solarte and Hunter Renfroe in the 3-4 holes. Wil Myers is the only above average hitter on this team and he is much worse against right-handers. Maeda, 28, transitioned extremely well from the Japenese League, sporting a .273 combined wOBA in 175 innings. The Dodgers are currently the biggest favorite on the board, with a -230 moneyline and a 7.5 over/under. The win should be safe here and a quality start is a near lock. Maeda may not have the same upside as the next two guys, but he is much safer than both. Lance McCullers FD 8800 DK 9500 Opponent - SEA (Iwakuma) Park - @HOU FD - 33.47 DK - 22.11 We go from one of the safer, pitch to contact pitchers that is built for cash games to McCullers, a...

We've got you completely covered. Does it matter? The NBA can be a very stressful DFS sport towards the end. When you combine the late scratches, resting superstars, and inconsistent play, it can certainly be frustrating. However, targeting teams that want to win are important. While not always necessary, I tend to roster players from these teams down the stretch, more and more as we get closer to the last game. Something to Play for Boston Celtics Charlotte Hornets Oklahoma City Thunder Memphis Grizzlies Milwuakee Bucks Utah Jazz Miami Heat Denver Nuggets Toronto Raptors Chicago Bulls Atlanta Hawks Indiana Pacers Cleveland Cavaliers Washington Wizards Nothing to Play for New York Knicks Los Angeles Lakers Dallas Mavericks San Antonio Spurs Philadelphia 76ers New Orleans Pelicans Brooklyn Nets Golden State Warriors Houston Rockets Phoenix Suns   Point Guard Kemba Walker FD - $7600 DK - $8000 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 41.09 DK - 43.64 With season-end quickly approaching, there are multiple teams with a ton to play for. None more-so than the Hornets, who must win out to stay in playoff contention. Walker single-handedly led his team to victory against the Nuggets with an insane 2nd half scoring spree. The Hornets will rely heavily on Walker for the rest of the year, as the rest of the lineup is either banged up or flat out unable to create a shot. While Walker presumably matches up with Westbrook, I don't think he has to cover him. I expect Batum or MKG to play on Westbrook, as Walker can easily cover Andre Roberson. That should allow Walker to keep his gas tank on F for offense, where he will be able to dice up this defense. Westbrook has ben struggling on defense all year and his interior backup has now started to falter. With Steven Adams struggling of late, guards have been able to attack the rim against the Thunder. If Walker is able to get a groove going, you can expect a huge outing. While Walker generally isn't a guy I touch in cash games, this scenario is different. He is guaranteed to shoot 20-25 times and play close to 40 minutes. In a fast-paced game with a lot on the line, don't expect a disappointment. Dennis Schroder FD -...
