Pitcher Kyle Hendricks FD 9400 DK 9600 Opponent - SD (Cosart) Park - @SD FD - 36.64 DK - 24.05 This isn't a day where you will be able to choose from a bevy of different superstars with different levels of upside. This is a day where you have to look for a guy that won't implode. Both slates do have a few options to consider, though none of which that stand out. On the early slate, we're going to take a look at Kyle Hendricks. Hendricks and the Cubs will travel into Petco Park, which is the worst park in baseball for hitting. It also houses one of the worst teams around, the Padres. The Padres currently hold the 3rd lowest wOBA in the league against righties at .291. They also strikeout 25.6% of the time, so the upside is definitely here. While Hendricks is a soft-tosser who doesn't necessarily look for K's, he can run into them. For example, he had 2 games with 12 K's last year and another couple in the double digits. He's held a .278 combined wOBA this year and has been just as good against righties as he is against lefties. Hendricks is one of the more solid pitchers in baseball and you can expect him to start having a very solid season. As for this Padres lineup, their outlook on this season is much different. Outside of Wil Myers, there isn't anyone I'm scared of. Ryan Schimpf and Hunter Renfroe definitely have power, but I'm willing to take it when they K at such an unbelievably high rate. Hendrick is the top option on this slate and the guy I will have in cash in every lineup. Ricky Nolasco FD 7500 DK 8400 Opponent - ATL (Teheran) Park - @LAA FD - 29.61 DK - 19.49 Like I said, we don't have much to choose from. The late slate is even worse. While you can go with a Marcus Stroman for pure talent, he's in a tough spot in a tough ballpark. That forces us down the pricing spectrum, where we land on Ricky Nolasco. Trust me when I say I never thought I would roster him again. He's truly not a good pitcher and...

Pitcher Michael Pineda FD 9100 DK 9900 Opponent - OAK (Triggs) Park - @NYY FD - 35.36 DK - 23.3 On FanDuel and DraftKings, the "main" slate doesn't include Cueto or Kershaw. Therefore, we'll be starting off a bit lower on the pricing spectrum with Michael Pineda. Pineda, a guy who used to be known for having blow-up starts, has yet to have 1 this season. He has done a terrific job locating his primary pitches and rarely walks anyone anymore. He's also striking out as many batters as ever, sitting at a slight career-high 10.23 K/9. He did hold a few 11s and 12s, but not for any large sample size. That is until this year, where Pineda has cut his arsenal from 4 to 5 pitches in hopes of getting better at all of those pitches. Well, it worked. He's holding a career high in SwgStrk%, Z-swing%, and X-swing%. 3 of his 4 pitches have held batters under a .300 wOBA, with the only other pitch facing a .381 BABIP. Pineda looks to be the real deal and while I doubt he sees a clean sheet all season, I also doubt the Athletics are the ones to put him away. While they have a few guys with pop (Davis, Alonso), the strikeout a ton and don't have many good hitters. They have struck out at the 4th highest clip (23.3%) against righties and only look to be on the way down in the past month. With Pineda fairly priced at home against an inept Athletics offense, he is the best play out there on the main slate. He can be used in all formats and makes sense no matter the tourney. With all of that being said, Pineda could end up being highly owned. There are a few decent pivots if you play the all-day slate. Let's take a look at a few options. Johnny Cueto FD 9100 DK 10800 Opponent - ATL (Dickey) Park - @SF FD - 36.41 DK - 23.96 The Braves are atrocious. I've been saying it for weeks and they kept putting up fluky runs. They're finally settling down to the team they truly are and against righties, that's the worst team in baseball. Without Freddie Freeman,...

We've got you completely covered. Colorado Rockies / St. Louis Cardinals Of course, both of these offenses are squarely in play. Coors Field is on a different planet when it comes to MLB ballparks. The ball flies and the runs pile up. With an over/under sitting at 11, the Rockies and Cardinals hold the 1st and 3rd highest implied team totals on the board. The Rockies are a slight home favorite and are very nice plays against Adam Wainwright. I will say, make sure you have the 2 big lefties in every stack. He's been much worse against them over the past year or two and without his changeup, he has no hope. Carlos Gonzalez and Charlie Blackmon are my favorites, with Ian Desmond and Nolan Arenado coming next. However, this is Coors Field and the production can come from anywhere. Mark Reynolds and Trevor Story both have a ton of upside, while a hitter like LeMahieu is rather safe in this environment. You can't really go wrong here. On the Cardinals side, it's a bit more cut and dry. Against a lefty, you want to target Fowler, Piscotty, Gyorko, and Grichuk. They all hit righties well and have HR upside at any point. On the flip side, we don't expect Kyle Freeland to remain in this game very long, Therefore, I;m willing to target a guy like Matt Carpenter. Carpenter, in Coors Field, will not be heavily owned. There's a chance he sees 3 at-bats against a righty in the bullpen, in which case he should be 45% owned. Whatever way you decide to go, I would make sure to get Fowler and Piscotty. I don't see this team having much success without their contribution. All in all, this game will hold the highest ownership of the night. There are 16 different guys to choose from and literally, all of them are in play. COL Main Stack - Charlie Blackmon, Nolan Arenado, Carlos Gonzalez, Ian Desmond COL Sneaky Stack - Charlie Blackmon, Carlos Gonzalez, Mark Reynolds, Trevor Story STL Main Stack - Dexter Fowler, Stephen Piscotty, Matt Carpenter, Jedd Gyroko STL Sneaky...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Zack Greinke FD 10600 DK 11900 Opponent - MIL (Anderson) Park - @MIL FD - 36.77 DK - 24.3 This main/late slate is a lot tougher in terms of pitching than the early one, so I thought I'd highlight some guys in the later games. Greinke definitely stands out, heading to Miller Park to take on the Brewers. While Miller Park is no pitchers park, it's certainly a lot better than Chase Field. Greinke has pitched extremely well this season and faces off with a team that is reeling hard. So far this season, Greinke is holding a .273 combined wOBA and is striking out over 10 per 9 innings. He's allowed more than 3 runs in just one game, with that game being against the Mets in hitter-friendly Chase Field. While the Brewers came out on fire, we all said they are horrible. The bottom of this order is absolutely pitiful against righties and whether Brewers fans want to admit it or not, it won't change the .286 combined wOBA and 22% K rate. The top of this order, while a lot better, still holds the high K rates. Braun is expected to remain out for this one, so that is a big help for Greinke. Thames, Villar, and Shaw are the 3 lefties to be scared of. With Greinke holding lefties to a .273 wOBA and an 11 K/9, I think he gets it done. While this isn't a play without any risk, it's as good as you're going to get. With that being said, it will certainly be tough to pay for Coors Field if you play Greinke. Let's take a look at a guy who is a bit cheaper and has some nice upside. J.C. Ramirez FD 7700 DK 7100 Opponent - MIA (Nicolino) Park - @MIA FD - 27.91 DK - 18.47 It looks like J.C. Ramirez might be a starter. While the Angels expected to just give him a few spot starts, he was too good and forced them to give him a shot in the rotation. While Ramirez has definitely struggled a bit...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Early Marcus Stroman FD 8900 DK 10200 Opponent - MIL (Garza) Park - @MIL FD - 31.95 DK - 21.14 This early slate is a bit weird. There is no pitcher that stands out as a must play, nor many who are horrible. We do have a couple guys with solid match-ups, but they all have risk. Marcus Stroman is our favorite of the bunch, facing off with the Milwaukee Brewers in Miller Park. He's having his best season yet, holding strong surface stats while getting extremely unlucky. He's posted a .350 wOBA and an 80% LOB rate, which are both very high and certain to drop at some point. That could be today, against a lineup with 6 righties. Stroman allowed a .302 wOBA against righties in 2016 and struck out nearly 8 of them per 9 innings. The Brewers are definitely a dangerous offense, though not at all reliable. After Braun and Shaw, you see a ginormous dropoff. The bottom 5 (Perez, Bandy, Arcia, Broxton, Garza) of this lineup, while young and full of promise, are not good against righties. They all either hold high K% or have absolutely no power/ability to hit the ball (Garza). Stroman can lock in 6 or 7 strikeouts in this matchup and if he's able to contain the top 4, he could see one of his better outings of the season. Matt Garza will surely allow some runs and if Stroman can stick around for 5, he should be in line for the win. While there is no such thing as safe on this slate, Stroman is as close as you will get to it. Main Chris Sale FD 11800 DK 13500 Opponent - TEX (Perez) Park - @BOS FD - 45.44 DK - 30.1 This one should be interesting. Chris Sale has been absolutely disgusting to start the season and nobody has been able to consistently square him up. He welcomes the Rangers into Fenway Park tonight and will most likely send them packing as well. To start, he's death to lefties. The Rangers will be forced to hit 2 or 3 L's, who you can chalk up for 6-8 strikeouts. Against righties, Sale is striking out nearly 14 per 9 innings. He's backed...
