We've got you completely covered.   Minnesota Twins Dylan Holmberg is not a good pitcher. He's been getting insanely lucky as of late and it's not going to last much longer at all. He is holding a ridiculous sub .150 BABIP and is due to be knocked out of the game in the 1st While that's a bit extreme, I don't see Holmberg lasting more than 4 or 5 more starts before going to either AAA or the bullpen. He's a soft lefty with no changeup and a weak slider. The Twins host Holmberg in Progressive Field, where they have ranked 10th with a .319 wOBA. Miguel Sano and Brian Dozier are both elite against lefties, sporting a +.400 wOBA over the last 2 seasons. Robbie Grossman sported a .408 wOBA against lefties in 2016 and as a switch-hitter, always holds the platoon advantage. You then get into guys with a bunch of power and some speed. Kennys Vargas and Eduardo Escobar are pretty safe, so you can use either of them in your stack. yron Buxton is better against lefties and will end up being a very good hitter. The Twins should be pretty highly owned and if you want to get crazy, I couldn't blame you. Main Stack - Miguel Sano, Brian Dozier, Robbie Grossman, Eduardo Escobar Sneaky Stack - Miguel Sano, Brian Dozier, Kennys Vargas, Byron Buxton New York Yankees Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez are hitting everything in sight. They are both having tremendous seasons and you can expect them to continue this performance for at least another series. They face off with Ricky Nolasco, who has been absolutely HORRIBLE. He has been horrible against both lefties and righties, tall guys and short guys. Nolasco has pitched 70 innings this year, in which he's allowed an astounding 21 home runs. The leash is short on Nolasco and I don't see any chance he lasts much longer as a starter. Once Nolasco is out of the game, the league's 23rd best bullpen comes into the game. They won't have fun with the Yanks here and I expect them to put up...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitchers Carlos Carrasco FD 9800 DK 10900 Opponent - BAL (Gausman) Park - @BAL FD - 31.76 DK - 21.1 We touched on Jeff Samardzija and Jose Berrios in the main picks article, who are both still in play in cash and tournaments. We're now going to touch on the most expensive pitcher on this slate, who also has the highest ceiling. If Carlos Carrasco is on his prime stuff tonight, he could go 9 innings and strikeout 10. It's extremely unlikely when you consider his recent form. Carrasco has been struggling to get first pitch strikes of late and it's hindered his pitch count, as well as his ability to pitch for the strikeout. He can right back to his game here against the Orioles, who are willing to strikeout as much as you'll let em'. They are good in terms of wOBA against righties, but have plenty of games where they score just 1 or 2 runs. Chris Davis and Mark Trumbo both K close to 30%, while Schoop and Machado lie near 27%. They also hit a ton of homers, so it weighs out over the long haul. Camden Yards is one factor working against Carrasco. This is an extreme hitter park and things could go south with ease in the match-up. In tournaments, Carrasco is definitely worth a look. If you're forcing me to play cash games, I'll take Samardzija or Berrios before Carrasco. Rich Hill FD 7600 DK 8900 Opponent - NYM (Montero) Park - @LAD FD - 27.42 DK - 18.12 Rich Hill was absolutely horrible last time out and it will likely keep everyone off of him. I just don't think there is anyone better. Hill is a very talented pitcher and we're paying close to $10k for him just 3 months ago. He faces off with a Mets team that is much worse against lefties, ranking 26th in all of baseball. They also move into Dodgers Stadium, which is one of the more spacious parks in the NL. You can't deny Hill and his numbers last year, so you have to wonder...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Jeff Samardzija FD 8700 DK 9400 Opponent - ATL (Newcomb) Park - @ATL FD - 35.54 DK - 23.59 Pitching is absolutely horrible tonight. If you're playing on the early slate, you have the luxury of rostering Max Scherzer. He's the clear top option on the slate and you can almost chalk in close to 7 dominant innings. As for the late slate, things are far more uncertain. Personally, I'll be very careful with cash games. There isn't a single pitcher I fully trust and would be hesitant to lay a significant amount of my bankroll on a risky arm. The best of the bunch comes in the form of an ex-ND wide receiver, Jeff Samardzija. Samardzija has been good this year as a whole, but his last 2 starts have left a lot to be desired. Let's hope that drives away some ownership, but I doubt it as there isn't anyone else who has been dominating as an alternative. He has struggled a bit against lefties with a .347 wOBA, but a .333 BABIP has a little to do with it. To be clear, Samardzija is not an elite pitcher. He's a slightly above-average arm who is good at eating innings and limiting run production. He enters into SunTrust Park to face an offense who rank 21st against righties and 28th since Freddie Freeman was injured. They lack any power and the ability to string together runs is gone. While I highly doubt Samardzija is going to leave with a clean slate, he is the safest guy to get a win and a quality start. Jose Berrios FD 9500 DK 11400 Opponent - CHW (Holmberg) Park - @MIN FD - 31.3 DK - 20.75 On a typical slate, Jose Berrios is far too expensive here. He simply isn't worth his price and you are paying up for the talent. With that being said, there is an argument for just paying up and taking the safe points. Berrios was a top 5 prospect in baseball for a few years and it looks like the scouts were right. He's simply dominating so far on the season and has struggled in just 1 start. He's holding a .288 wOBA against lefties and a .234 against...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Clayton Kershaw FD 12500 DK 13500 Opponent - NYM (Wheeler) Park - @LAD FD - 46.08 DK - 30.47 Of course, Clayton Kershaw. When he is on the mound, you can expect him to be at the top of this article. He hosts the New York Mets tonight, at home in Dodgers Field. He's easily the best pitcher in the league and at home, he's unstoppable. He sported a ridiculous .161 wOBA in Dodgers Field and has backed it up with a 28.1% strikeout rate. It's undeniable how great he is and it just comes down to whether or not you think you can afford him on any particular slate. This is a slate where I think you can get him in and the match-up is almost too great to ignore. The Mets aren't bad against righties, but against lefties, it's a whole different story. They are ranked 26th in the league with a .294 wOBA and 22% K rate. On the road, you can kick that to 29th in the league. They have a bunch of guys who simply can't hit left-handers and the guys who can, can't hit them very well. Cespedes and Wilmer Flores are the 2 top hitters against lefties, but they also strike out a ton and we know Kershaw is going to dice them up. The rest of the order is very weak and the likes of Lucas Duda and Jay Bruce have absolutely no chance. Kershaw should have a huge game here and per the usual, it comes down whether you want to pay down or not for your bats. Let's take a look at a guy that will allow you to pay up for a few offenses. Jon Lester FD 9900 DK 10500 Opponent - SD (Richard) Park - @CHC FD - 37.49 DK - 24.52 Jon Lester seems to fly under the radar for the most part, typically sitting around 6-10% owned. That might not be the case today, as he is facing a horrible Padres team at home in Wrigley Field. The Padres are the league worst team against lefties, sporting a .280 wOBA and a crazy 25% strikeout rate. There is no reason not to like Lester here and he does...

We've got you completely covered. Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Bronson Arroyo Park - Great American Ballpark There are a lot of different teams we could of went with here, but the Dodgers are my personal favorite and deserve a ton of attention. We saw the Dodgers face off with Asher Wojciechowski yesterday and they were in this same article. They ended up scoring 10 runs and hitting 4 homers. If you rostered the recommended sneaky stack, you got all 4 homers and -7 RBI's, giving you a good shot at a top finish. Tonight they face someone even worse, Bronson Arroyo. Bronson Arroyo could very easily be the worst pitcher in the entire major leagues. He's allowed 23 home runs in under 70 innings, which is one of the more Ludacris stats I've heard in a long time. It;s like he's playing on 200-foot little league fields. He's nearing a 5 HR/9 against lefties, which by law should put him in federal prison for life. In seriousness, the guy is a horrible pitcher. He's allowing close to a .400 combined wOBA and hasn't been able to get anyone out for the most part. The Dodgers have plenty of weapons and we know they damage they can do with just a few swings. Corey Seager is the 100% block for me, as he's actually my favorite player on the entire slate at any position. You then work with a lot of different possibilities. With the Dodgers being so heavily owned on this slate, there is definitely merit to pivoting and targeting one of the lower in the order bats like Yasiel Puig or Chris Taylor. All in all, the Dodgers are expected to put up a bunch of runs from Vegas and I think they score even more. When you combined Bronson Arroyo and a tired Reds bullpen, you should have some fireworks in Great American Ballpark. Main Stack - Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger, Yasmani Grandal Sneaky Stack - Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger, Chase Utley, Yasiel Puig Cleveland Indians vs. Kyle Gibson Park - Target Field Kyle Gibson was never "good", but he...
