We've got you completely covered. Boston Red Sox The Red Sox are probably going to be the most popular stack of the night. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockies passed them up, but I doubt it. Whenever James Shields takes the mound, people know where to look. He's simply one of the absolute worst pitchers in the entire league. If he was 25, he would be in AA. Over the last 2 years, he's allowed a .372 wOBA to righties and a .411 to lefties. You can target anybody against him and you have a strong shot. Shields is striking out nearly 6 batters per 9 innings and walking close to the same. He now moves into Fenway Park and faces off with one of the best offenses in the game. Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi are my 2 favorites and guys I have on my cash game. After that, Rafael Devers and Hanley Ramirez are excellent options. They can both hit righties well and in Fenway, see a huge bump. This offense is very spread out and with your bottom picks, you can go anywhere. Vasquez and Bradley Jr/ have some pop in the lower part of the order and will come in under 10% owned. Main Stack - Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Rafael Devers, Hanley Ramirez Sneaky Stack - Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Mitch Moreland, Jackie Bradley Jr. Detroit Tigers This is definitely a sneakier stack. With most stacks, you're looking for a flow of runs with singles, doubles, and then one big homer. While that would be great to see here, it's not what I expect. I expect the Tigers to hit 2 or 3 solo/2 run bombs. they struggle getting runners on the bases, but shouldn't have much of an issue squaring up Wade Miley a few times from the right side. He's a very easy pitcher to figure out. Against lefties, stay away. Against righties, shoot away. In 89 innings this season, Miley has a allowed a pitiful .337 wOBA to righties. He's given up 16 homers and has shown no signs of improving. He's...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Danny Salazar FD 8900 DK 9400 Opponent - NYY (Montgomery) Park - @CLE FD - 32.2 DK - 21.33 We touched on Gerrit Cole and Drew Pomeranz in the main picks article and they remain the top 2 options on the slate. In this one, we'll look at two guys who have some tournament appeal. Starting with Danny Salazar, he faces the Yankees. While the Yankees are definitely a scary team against righties and rightfully so, they do hold the highest BABIP in the league and strike out nearly 23% of the time. THe Yanks are known to get shut down and when they do, it's ugly as can be. Danny Salazar is definitely one of those guys who can put the Yanks on their heels. So far in 2017, he's been horrible against lefties. We know that's not the true talent he really is and we can be sure of that number coming down very soon. Otherwise, he's striking out over 11 batters per 9 innings and doing a good job of limiting the one big inning. He can get to 110 pitches and at Progressive Field, he pitches far better. All in all, he's facing the Yankees. If they decide to have a big night, it won't matter what Salazar tosses in there. If he starts early and gets some guys to K, it could be a long night on the road for the Yanks. Salazar is only an option I would consider in tournaments. Charlie Morton FD 8300 DK 9500 Opponent - TOR (Estrada) Park - @HOU FD - 31.75 DK - 21.03 This game between the Astros and Blue Jays is sitting at just an 8 over/under. With Charlie Morton and Marco Estrada facing these 2 offenses, I expected it to be around 9.5-10. Instead, Vegas has Charlie Morton shutting down the Blue Jays. Morton isn't a household name by any means, but he's pretty good. He's allowed a .321 combined wOBA, while striking out nearly 10 batters per 9 innings. Morton is a heavy sinker pitcher and it could have something to do with...

Pitcher James Paxton FD 10100 DK 12200 Opponent - KC (Hammel) Park - @KC FD - 33.58 DK - 22.18 There are more than enough pitching options tonight, so it'll be interesting to see where the ownership comes in. James Paxton and the Mariners travel to Kansas City to face off with the Royals in Kauffman Stadium. Paxton has been absolutely dominant all season long and July was his best month. Paton is striking out 10.5 batters per 9 innings and walking just 2.5. He has also held a .190 wOBA against lefties and a .290 against righties, so nobody beats him up. This entire Royals team is very underwhelming and while they can occasionally scratch some runs together, it doesn't make them a strong offense. The Royals have ranked 22nd in baseball against lefties with a .307 wOBA and 19% K rate. They will have trouble doing anything to Paxton and his dynamic 4-pitch arsenal. Lorenzo Cain is the only guy I'm scared of and he's nowhere near as dangerous as some other bats in this league against lefties. If you're not a fan of Paxton, deGrom, Bumgarner, and Darvish are all worthy of consideration. None of these guys will be too highly owned, either, so you can go with who you really like and not let numbers cloud your judgment. Jacob Faria FD 8100 DK 8500 Opponent - MIL (Davies) Park - @TB FD - 36.97 DK - 24.43 If you're looking to pay down a bit, you have to have some interest in Jacob Faria. He's one of the best young starters in baseball, who has made a name for himself during this season. HE's dominated both sides of the plate and has limited big innings very well. In just 60 innings of work, Faria has sported a .,273 combined wOBA and is striking out batters at an 8.51 /9 rate. Faria and the Rays will host the Brewers tonight, who are far from a scary offense. Against righties, the Brew Crew have sported .317 wOBA and strikeout at a league-high 25.4%. Eric Thames, Ryan Braun, and Travish Shaw are the 3 guys who can do damage, though they strikeout a ton and can go 0-for-4 with ease. Faria is...
Daily Fantasy Preseason Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 8/3/17
Daily Fantasy Preseason Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday 8/3/17 Did you have a mini heart attack when you saw the NFL tab highlighted once again? Do you want to watch some football and throw some lineups together, no matter how meaningful the games? If so, this one is for you. While the preseason can be looked at as a warm-up or a way to have fun before the season, it can also be a bankroll builder. There are a lot of people who just throw their favorite players into a lineup because they see the game on and want something to watch. That's something you can take advantage of. Ideally, you can boost your bankroll for the upcoming regular season. This first slate is definitely a weird one and I will be keeping my $ exposure very limited. Anything can happen in the HOF game and the next game isn't until the following week. I'll break down a guy or two at each position and try my best to steer you in the right direction. Notes to Know All Arizona Cardinals starters will sit out against the Cowboys, along with backup QB Drew Stanton Quarterback Trevor Knight With both Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton sitting this one out, the Cardinals will only hold 2 QB's on the roster. Blaine Gabbert will man the first half and face off with the Cowboys 1st and 2nd string defenses. If you know who Blaine Gabbert is, there's a reason you want to avoid him. Instead, we'll look at Trevor Knight. Knight will play the entire 2nd half against the 3rd string Cowboys defense. He's had a ton of hype around him in training camp. He is the perfect guy you want in a messy 2nd half preseason game. He can run the ball a ton and is very powerful, finishing 3rd in his junior in the NCAA for QB rushing TDs. The problem for Knight comes when he tries to make tough throws. He isn't very accurate outside the hash-marks and prefers to throw short passes. This shouldn't be a problem in this one and I can see him getting an upwards of 20 pass attempts and 5 rushes. If you do want to get wacky, Baine Gabbert will see a similar amount of touches. Deshaun Watson Here we have one of the most anticipated position battles in the entire preseason. While Watson is officially the 3rd string behind Savage and Weeden, he has a legitimate chance to start the regular season. He has been a bit off in training camp, but has the opportunity to prove himself plenty in the preseason. With Brandon Weeden being about 45 years...

We've got you completely covered. Los Angeles Dodgers Julio Teheran is always one of my favorite pitchers to target. Even though he's not one of the worst pitchers on the slate, you know exactly what to expect. Since the beginning of time, Teheran has dominated righties and been horrible against lefties. He's made absolutely no improvement and has shown no signs of it either. He's given up a .344 wOBA so far this year and with a .243 BABIP, it's only going to go way up. The Dodgers are obviously one of the best teams in the league and you can argue they are the best team against righties. Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger are 2 of my favorite plays on the entire slate and must plays if you're stacking the Dodgers. Joc Pederson and Justin Turner are next, with Grandal a close 5th. He's at a weaker position and has a ton of HR potential. This game will also take place in SunTrust Park, where the ball has flown for lefties. The Dodgers won't be overly owned and I love the upside they have in this match-up. Main Stack - Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger, Justin Turner, Joc Pederson Sneaky Stack - Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger, Chris Taylor, Logan Forsythe Pittsburgh Pirates You're guess is as good as mine as to why Robert Stephenson still has a job. I'm not saying he's hopeless, but he's certainly nowhere near ready. He needs to go back down to AA and work on striking out more guys than he walks. Over the last 2 years, he's given up a .400 wOBA against both sides of the plate. He's truly just a bad pitcher and you have to like this Pirates team, who has been swinging the bat well. Marte and McCutchen are always going to be th top 2 options on this team and the upside is limitless with both. Francisco Cervelli may be my 2nd favorite, as he destroys righties and will be very contrarian. Adam Frazier and Josh Bell are both good against righties and should come in between 10-15% owned. This slate has...
