We've got you completely covered. Boston Red Sox Wade Miley takes the mound in Fenway Park, which should be pretty entertaining. While Miley isn't the same gas can a lot of pitchers in the league are right now, he has 1 very prominent weakness. HR's to righties. In Fenway Park, that is a very scary weakness to have. Especially when it's so severe that you rank top 5 in HR allowed to righties in 3 straight seasons. He's also allowed a .367 wOBA and 18 home runs in 108 innings of work so far. He has been very good against lefties, but you never know who might come wobbling out of that pen. This Red Sox lineup is filthy at home and may end up playing pepper with the green monster in the 1st inning. Hanley is definitely my favorite and my pick for HR of the night. After that, look for righties. Mookie Betts, Chris Young, Eduardo Nunez, and Xander Bogaets are all extremely viable in both cash games and tournaments. You run into guys lowering the order like Sandy Leon and Jackie Bradley. They have upside, but don't go there outside of a large-field tourney. I'm not sure fading one of the top 4 guys will work out of if the Sox go off. Main Stack - Hanley Ramirez, Eduardo Nunez, Mookie Betts, Chris Young Sneaky Stack - Hanley Ramirez, Chris Young, Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts Arizona Diamondbacks I don't think the Diamondbacks have a lot of eyes on them tonight, but I could be completely off base. If they do stay under 15% like I expect, this is one of my favorite spots for the D-Backs all season long. Christopher Stratton is horrible and has survived with 3 of his first 4 starts in spacious AT&T Park. He now moves into Chase Field, which is the 2nd best hitting ballpark in baseball. It's also home to the insane left-handed beasts Jake Lamb and David Peralta. Stratton has allowed a .367 wOBA to lefties and if you convert that over to this park, it's probably in the .700's. I don't...

We've got you completely covered. Carlos Carrasco FD 8700 DK 11800 Opponent - KC (Duffy) Park - @CLE FD - 34.04 DK - 22.5 In the main picks article, Jerry touch on 3 very viable guys. They remain my 3 favorite and I will have most of my exposure to them. After that top tier, we do have to dig a little bit. While Carrasco is a fantastic pitcher and he can throw a CGSO anytime, this isn't the perfect match-up. The Royals don't strike out a lot and they hit a lot better on the road. With that being said, this is still Carlos Carrasco pitching at home against an average offense. He's also struck out 26 in his last 3 games, so he can get K's' against these guys. He just might not get 10 or 11 like he does against the Rays or Orioles. All in all, I see Carrasco as a solid, yet underwhelming option. If I'm going to pay the price, I prefer Archer and Darvish. If you want to get crazy in tournaments, Carrasco does give you the upside. This just might not be the right night. Tanner Roark FD 7800 DK 7800 Opponent - NYM (Milone) Park - @WSH FD - 30.49 DK - 20.12 This one just comes down to the match-up. After the big 3 and Carrasco, pitching is an absolute mess. When trying to figure out who to put here, guys like Patrick Corbin and Charlie Moton almost made it, so that tells you how we're looking. I decided to go with Tanner Roark, who is facing off with the pitiful New York Mets. The Mets, who only have 3 players left from opening day, are what we call a dumpster fire. Or maybe the entire landfill. This Mets lineup is porous as can be and a veteran like Roark should have no problem working through it. Nationals Park is spacious and just about the same as Citi Field. The Mets current hitters strikeout 26% of the time and hold a .301 wOBA against righties, coming in 2nd worst in the last 30 days. Roark...

We've got you completely covered. New York Yankees This early slate has a few offenses to target, but the Yankees are undoubtedly my favorite. They face off with the worst pitcher in Yovani Gallardo and have the most potent offense. Gallardo has struggled against both sides of the plate this year, but is a lot worse against righties. Through 57 innings, he's given up a .372 wOBA and 13 home runs. Both Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge should have a lot of fun here and are the 2 guys you can't leave off of a Yankees stack. After the duo, you can really go anywhere. Aaron Hicks and Didi Gregorius hit lefties and righties well, so you won't have to worry about who's coming out of the pen. Towards the bottom of the order, you get some power bats in Todd Frazier and Chase Headley. Starlin Castro just came off the DL as well, so keep an eye out for him in the lineup. Vegas has the Yanks slated at 5.55 runs, so you're going to want exposure in both cash games and tournaments. Main Stack - Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Aaron Hicks, Didi Gregorious Snaky Stack - Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Chase Headley, Todd Frazier Cleveland Indians This late slate is one I don't love for stacking. While we have plenty of offenses to target, I think a balanced approach may be the way to go. With that being said, the Indians are the top offense on the board. They face off with Jason Hammel, at home in Progressive Field. Hammel isn't the worst pitcher in the world, but he also isn't very good. A lot of his numbers are held up by Kauffmann Stadium and the insane spacious outfield. The move to Progressive Field will be tough on Hammel and I expect this Indians offense will nickel and dime him to death. You then run into guys like Edwin Encarnacion and Carlos Santana, who can hit it a mile. The stack has plenty of upside and I really don't think it will be over 15% owned. The Royals pen is...

We've got you completely covered. Kyle Hendricks FD 8000 DK 9700 Opponent - PHI (Lively) Park - @PHI FD - 32.84 DK - 21.55 We have 2 different slates here and both of them have a lot of interesting options. Jerry touched on 2 guys from the early slate, so you're covered there. He also touched on Mike Clevinger and Madison Bumgarner from this main slate, While those are definitely the guys you want to look at, we have 2 solid pivots in Kyle Hendricks and Brad Peacock. Starting with Hendricks, he's very safe. On a slate like this, there is nothing more valuable. He'll definitely give up a couple runs in most starts, but typically figures it out and goes a minimum of 6 or 7 innings. The Phillies are one of the weakest offenses in the entire league and have backed it up with a .306 wOBA against righties. They strikeout almost 2% of the time and don't offer much in terms of stacking up runs. They do have some power swingers like Rhys Hoskins, Maikel Franco, and Tommy Joseph, that guys will K 8 times every time they HR. I'm willing to sacrifice a possible HR or two, that will probably be solo. Hendricks is going to get it done in cash games and he won't hurt you in tournaments. On a slate without much to offer, Hendricks is a solid way to go. Brad Peacock FD 8400 DK 10900 Opponent - LAA (Skaggs) Park - @LAA FD - 31.22 DK - 20.68 Full disclosure, you won't find Brad Peacock under my name today. Clevinger, Bumgarner, and Hendricks are the 3 guys I will be riding in both cash games and tournaments. With that being said, there is no arguing the merit Peacock has in tournaments. First things first, he's pretty good. He's given up a .272 combined wOBA and has struck out over 11 batters per 9 in the process. He heavily leans on his slider against righties and his change against lefties, while also throwing a 95 MPH cutter. This slate is full of so-so pitches, so getting your...

We've got you completely covered. Minnesota Twins You guessed it! When James Shields is on hill, you can pencil in the opposing lineup. James Shields is absolutely pitiful and while he will have 2 or 3 random good games, we can't let them distract us from who he is. SHields is a guy who has allowed a .409 wOBA to lefties on a very normal .308 BABIP. While he's been better against righties (.307 wOBA), the BABIP suggests that have been getting a bit unlucky. Shields has also found a way to give up 19 homers in under 70 innings, which is difficult in itself. He's at home in the hitter-friendly Guaranteed Rate Field, ready to take another walloping. The Twins don't have a bunch of huge lefties, but they have some sneaky ones. Max Kepler is my favorite for HR of the night and I expect him to be right at the top of the order. Escobar, Rosario, and Dozier are my other 3 favorites. After them, this lineup is pretty watered down. Byron Buxton has been swinging a hot bat and he will be one of the better hitters in a couple years. He will go very low-owned and has great against Shields and that pitiful bullpen. Main Stack - Eddie Rosario, Max Kepler, Brian Dozier, Eduardo Escobar Sneaky Stack - Brian Dozier, Max Kepler, Byron Buxton, Eduardo Escobar New York Yankees Jordan Zimmerman used to be one of the best pitchers in baseball. He was never flashy, but went deep into games and prevented runs with the best of 'em. Now, he does neither. Zimmerman has lost absolutely everything and is now just a bad pitcher. Through 135 innings, he's allowed a .372 wOBA and an astounding 26 home runs. He now faces off with the Yankees, who are one of the league's most lethal offenses. Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge are obviously the top 2 options and you can't do a Yankees stack without them. The rest of the order is pretty random and you can really go anywhere. Didi Gregorius and Aaron Hicks both hit righties well and will...
