We've got you completely covered. What We Know Damian Lillard has been ruled out against the Thunder We know what to do. Shabazz Napier is way too cheap and we'll look at him in a second. C.J. McCollum will also pick up a few extra shots and should be considered in all formats with Andre Roberson out of the lineup. Nurkic and Aminu may also pick up a few extra shots, but are still somewhat unpredictable. Kyle Lowry has been ruled out against the Heat with a back injury Lowry went down last night in what looked like a scary injury. I think he's going to end up being just fine, but will miss at least a game or two. In his absence, Deleon Wright and Fred Van Vleet will split the minutes. Both are in play as value PG's in all formats. DeMar DeRozan will also pick up a few extra shots and is the clear top SG on the slate. The rest of the starters may see and extra shot or two, but nothing that makes them stand out. What We're Waiting to Know Jonathon Simmons is questionable to play vs the Mavs This is another somewhat cut and dry situation. With Simmons out last game, Mario Hezonja stepped in for 36 minutes and put up 30 fantasy points. If Simmons is out again, he's one of the top value plays on the entire slate. Wes Iwundu would also pick up over 20 minutes, but you can do a lot better. Chalk up an extra 2 or 3 shots each for Fournier and Gordon. Every Lineup Guys Shabazz Napier FD - $4800 DK - $5400Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 28.67 DK - 28.75 Easy. Napier should be $6.5k here and would still be worth considering. He's only priced down because Damian Lillard returned for 2 games. He's always over 30 fantasy points and has only burned you once out of 10 games. It was still hit value. The Thunder like to play fast and the Blazers have no problem matching. As long as Napier stays out of foul trouble, I find it hard to believe he'll be under 30 fantasy points. The price is just ridiculous for a guy with a ceiling in the 50's of...

We've got you completely covered. What We Know Kawhi Leonard is out against the Kings with a partial torn shoulder This sounds a lot more serious than it is, but he'll still miss at least a game or two. Kyle Anderson will jump into 35 minutes and deserves a lot of attention as a value option in all formats. With Manu Ginobili out as well, Bryn Forbes should get to 30 minutes at close to minimum-price. LaMarcus Aldridge also sees a bump as the offense will revolve solely around him. The Kings are a poor defensive team and he could have a big night at low ownership. Kevin Durant has been ruled out against the Nuggets with a calf strain This will 3 straight for Durant, so at least we know what to expect. We saw examples of 22 very different games and what we can expect tonight. If it stays close, these superstars are in some of the best spots all season long. If the Warriors come out hot and blow these guys away, Curry and Dray will only see 30-ish minutes and will have to reach for value. Personally, with just a 10 point spread, I'm willing to bet on it being close. In turn, Curry and Dray are 2 of my favorite options on the entire slate. Andre Iguodala is also a phenomenal spend-down option at SF. Nikola Mirotic is doubtful to play against the Rockets I think this is bigger news on the surface than it truly is. While Mirotic is a stud, he's only getting 20-25 minutes a night and the Bulls are pretty set on their rotations. I think Bobby Portis may grab about 5 extra minutes, but I still don't see him getting over that 25 mark. Paul Zipser and Quincy Pondexter are the other 2 guys who pick up minutes here, but I don't like either. Markkanen and Portis are both pretty safe and have a lot of upside ina fast-paced affair with Houston. Portis is the guy I'll probably end up with the most exposure to. What We're Waiting to Know Andre Drummond is a GTD against the Pelicans Drummond is supposedly closer to playing than not, but who really knows with the NBA. Against AD, Boogie, and the Pelicans,...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Chris Paul FD - $10200 DK - $10000 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 53.91 DK - 55.99 One thing you're going to notice very quickly on this slate is the volume of superstars to pay up for. It'll be important to pick the right ones and just as important to pick the correct value to get there. We'll kick things off at PG with Chris Paul, who's going to steadily produce for as long as James Harden is out. He's been dominant over the last few games and hit 44 in each of the last 2. He now gets a phenomenal match-up with the Chicago Bulls, who rank 26th in the NBA against point guards. Kris Dunn is one of the best in the league at stealing the ball, but takes a lot of chances and gives up a lot of easy buckets in return. Chris Paul doesn't miss easy buckets. He's back to his old 10+ assists a night as the primary ballhandler and is one of the safest plays on the entire slate. Stephen Curry FD - $9800 DK - $10500 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 52.9 DK - 54.98 With Kevin Durant questionable tonight, we're going to look at a few Warriors. I know Chris Paul and Steph Curry are the 2 most expensive options at the position, but you just can't ignore him if Durant is out. He's put up 47 and 63 fantasy points in the last 2 games with him out and saw his usage rate go from 30% to 33.5%. He now draws a match-up against a Nuggets team that we've been targeting point guards against all year long. If it wasn't for facing some bad PG's over the last 2 weeks, the Nuggets would still rank dead last against the position. They have for most of the season and will be right back there when the schedule evens out. Jamal Murray is not only a bad defender, but Nikola Jokic is one of the worst paint protectors around. Stephen Curry will dice this defense and it's just a matter of the game staying close. If Durant is out, you have to consider him in all formats as a...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 1/5/18

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/5/18 Welcome to NBA Friday! After a small Thursday night slate with just 2 games, we're looking at a healthy Friday night. With 10 games on the board and 4 of them with a 212+ O/U, there's plenty to dissect. Let's take a look at the top options at each position. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point guard Kyle Lowry FD - $7500 DK - $7300 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 37.08 DK - 38.93 Welcome to another night of NBA DFS. After just 2 games last night, we're looking at a jam-packed 10 tonight. There are no clear games that stand above the rest and there's a ton to dissect. Point guard lives up to its potential as one of the best positions on the slate and there are a few different ways to go. On the high-end, Kyle Lowry is the move. This bout between the Bucks and Raptors will stay close and I expect an over/under well over 215. On the season, the Bucks rank 20th against PG's. Not great, but not bad. However, it's been getting a lot worse. They rank dead last over the last 5 and 28th over the last 10. Eric Bledsoe is no tremendous defender and can be taken advantage of with ease. Lowry is under $8k and will only need you about 40 in cash games. If this one stays close, I see him getting there like he did 2 games ago. Giannis or Middleton will be on DeRozan and funnel a healthy amount of shots his way. He put up 46 against these guys just a couple days ago and will look for a similar performance here. He's a safe play in all formats at a strong position. Goran Dragic FD - $6800 DK - $6600 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 35.52 DK - 36.64 Tyler Johnson FD - $5800 DK - $5200 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 28.58 DK - 28.46 With Dion Waiters out, both of these guys are able to get substantial minutes and produce simultaneously. Last game, Dragic grabbed 36 and Johnson 33. The Heat are finally pressing Dragic over 30 minutes every night and it's paying dividends. He's put up 45 in back to back games and...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Chris Paul FD - $10400 DK - $9800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 50.6 DK - 52.34 Welcome to Thursday! With only 2 games on the slate, it's far from a regular slate. The NBA has done a good job of limiting slates like this all year long, but at least these 2 games are extremely entertaining. We haven't seen a line from Vegas on either game, but I'm willing to bet both hold an over/under over 220. Let's start with the Rockets. Playing just last night and taking care of business rather easily against Orlando, they did a good job of resting the starters. Chris Paul only ended up playing 32 minutes, which is awesome. He played 42 minutes the game before, so he's capable if the game stays close. With Harden out, the Rockets are going to struggle to stay with the Warriors, but Chris Paul is the way they can do it. He'll match-up with Stephen Curry in what is a top 10 PG match-up of the last 30 years. Yes, I said that. Paul is going to see a very high usage % with Harden out and I don't see him getting under 50 here if things stay close. His price is high, but it will be over $11k once he finds his stride with Harden out. Russell Westbrook FD - $12500 DK - $11300 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 57.06 DK - 60.32 Even though we have just 2 games on this slate, PG is stacked. We're even skipping Stephen Curry in a decent match-up. If you can pay all the way up for Westbrook, he's worth it. Like a lot of the Rockets, he was limited to just 27 minutes last night. The Thunder knew they had a game tonight and it's a great sign that he'll play 35+. The Clippers are going to have a lot of trouble with Westbrook whether it's Austin Rivers or Milos Teodosic. Neither of them is above average defenders and we know the Clippers are weak on the interior. While DeAndre Jordan is intimidating as they get, there's a reason they allow the 6th most points in the paint to guards. The game should...
