What We Know Nicolas Batum is probable to return against the Knicks, but will have a minutes limit Batum has been out for a while and he's likely to return tonight with a minutes limit. You obviously can't play Batum, but it also takes away from Jeremy Lamb and Dwyane Bacon. Neither are on my radar tonight, though Lamb on DK can still be considered at the cheap tag. Gary Harris, T.J. Warren, Brandon Ingram, Isaiah Thomas, and Tyson Chandler will remain out tonight These guys have been out a while and we know what to do. If you have any questions, feel free to comment down below and I will make sure to get to you. What We're Waiting to Know Devin Booker is "very questionable" to play and will have his status decided during warmups Whatever that means. If Booker plays, he probably won't see a full allotment of minutes and I don't have much interest against Jaylen Brown. If Booker is out, Josh Jackson and Troy Daniels are both in play in all formats. T.J. Warren is already out, so Jackson is in play either way and this would put him close to 40 minutes. Every Lineup Guys Kyle Kuzma FD - $6600 DK - $6900 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 36.63 DK - 38.01 Kuzma has picked up 40+ minutes over the last two games and is sitting in the exact same situation tonight. Brandon Ingram remains out and Isaiah Thomas is also going to sit. It will only give Kuzma a few extra shots and it's not like he even needs them. He's been over 30 fantasy points in three straight games. The Pistons rank 21st against the small forward position and are degenerating as a defense as a whole. Kuzma is an elite play in both cash games and tournaments. Expect another 38+ minutes and 30+ fantasy points. GRAB A FREE TRIAL OF OUR PROJECTION SYSTEM, AND CHECK OUT DFSR PRO! START FREE TRIAL...

The new week brings along a fun 5-game slate with a whole lot to decipher. There are a couple spots that stick out above the rest, but every game deserves some attention. We’ll kick things off in Detroit with Lonzo Ball. Ball is playing some of the best basketball of the season and he’s playing a whole lot of it, too. Over the last 6 games, he’s averaged 40.5 minutes per game. 44 and 42 in the last two. Now, Isaiah Thomas is out and the Lakers have no choice but to stretch Lonzo. Isaiah has been picking up big minutes and he shoots every time he touches the ball, so there some shots to take as well. It’s weird to say, but expect another 38 or more productive minutes. He’s going to be facing Ish Smith and Reggie Jackson, so the success isn’t hard to imagine. They rank 19th against the position and 23rd since the break. Lonzo spreads it around like crazy and is far from reliant on any 1 stat. With a 215 total and 4.5 spread, Vegas thinks it stays close and relatively high-scoring. Lonzo is an elite play in all formats. Terry Rozier FD - $7100 DK - $7600 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 36.45 DK - 36.99 When this season is said and done, Terry Rozier is going to be one of the real memories. Brad Stevens has turned another run of the mill player into a fantasy star. That might seem crazy, but it’s hard to disagree when he’s been so effective on both sides of the floor. Rozier has been a dynamic defender and it’s why he made the NBA in the first place. His offense has improved like no other and he’s been insanely great. Not only at scoring, but Rozier has stayed around 5-9 assists and is one of the best rebounding guards you will find. He literally does it all. While playing huge minutes. He’s going to continue getting 34+ minutes with Kyrie out and the shots aren’t going anywhere. Tonight, he faces off with a Suns team that ranks dead...

What We Know Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out against the Bulls with an ankle injury Antetokounmpo has posted a 31% usage rate on the season, so this is huge. Minutes-wise, it'll be Jabari Parker, Tony Snell, and Shabazz Muhammad that benefit. Parker is my favorite and one of the best plays on the slate. Usage-wise, he makes just as much of an impact. Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton will see an extra 5-10 shots each and will have the ball in their hands all night long. The NBA lineup optimizer loves a lot of these guys, but Middleton, Bledsoe, and Parker are far ahead of the rest. Stephen Curry will return tonight for the Warriors while Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green remain out The reports are that Stephen Curry is a full go, so you can definitely go there in a tournament. I don't necessarily love him, but the upside is most certainly there. Thompson and Durant have been out for a while and it'll continue to be Nick Young, Pat McCaw, and Andre Iguodala that benefit. Green is back on the injury report after coming back healthy and we'll see Jordan Bell get the start. He saw 22 minutes after Green went down last game and could get close to 30 tonight. Personally, Bell, Iguodala, and Curry are my 3 favorites. A 221 total and 10 point spread is nothing to run away from. What We're Waiting to Know Paul Millsap is questionable to play with an illness I think it's fair to say that Paul Millsap is fully back. After seeing 40 minutes two games ago, he put up 50 fantasy points last game. The $7k price tag is very fair and we will only see it go up. With that being said, we will stay far away with him entering the night questionable. If he plays, I'll likely stay away from this spot. If he misses, Plumlee and Trey Lyles are both worth a look in a friendly match-up with the fast-paced Wizards. Jokic will also see a few extra shots and is already one of the best plays on the entire slate. Jusuf Nurkic is questionable with lower back soreness against the Celtics Nurkic isn't seeing huge...

It’s a typical Friday night in the NBA DFS world with 10 games on the slate and a whole lot to look through. The most notable news on the slate up to this point is the likely absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo. He left in the middle of last game and is currently listed as doubtful for tonight. Assuming he misses this one, there are 3 or 4 Bucks than be safely played in cash games. We’ll kick it off with one of the easy ones in Eric Bledsoe. A key ball-handler, Bledsoe is going to have the ball in his hands a ton more tonight. His usage should shoot up 5-7% and 15+ shots is in the range of possibilities. The Bulls are a lackluster defense and one you can safely target here. Bledsoe will be covered by little Cameron Payne and will bully him consistently. Bledsoe is an elite play in all formats and will end up one of the more popular plays on the slate if Giannis is eventually ruled out. George Hill FD - $4700 DK - $4900Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 26.41 DK - 26.87 Hill has been playing consistent minutes recently, and paying these prices pretty well. Over the last 4 games, he’s played 20, 33, 35, and 35 minutes. He put up 20+ fantasy points in 3 of those and got over 30 last game. He’s never going to flash 50 point upside or anything like that, but Hill is extremely consistent when on the floor and has some great chemistry with LeBron. And then there's the match-up. Against point guards, the Suns rank 26th in the league thanks to their lightning fast pace and rotating cast of poor defenders. Hill is going to play 28-34 minutes and put up 20-30 fantasy points. Book it. Cameron Payne FD - $5600 DK - $5400Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 27.99 DK - 27.66 With Kris Dunn and Antonio Blakeney out last game Cameron Payne grabbed 23 minutes and paid these prices even in a blowout. Payne matches up with the Bucks tonight, who rank 21st against point guards since the...

Point guard Lonzo Ball FD - $7100 DK - $7600Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 40.36 DK - 40.42 Isaiah Thomas FD - $5600 DK - $5700Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 24.87 DK - 26.65 We’ll kick things off in New Orleans, where the Pelicans will host the Lakers in what figures to be a high-scoring affair. Ball is seeing 30+ fantasy points on almost every night and has been one of the more consistent guards around. You then get to Isaiah Thomas, who’s more reliant on his jumper, but has immense upside against the Pelicans. On the season, New Orleans ranks 27th against point guards. Yikes. Vegas hasn’t dropped a line just yet (due to uncertainty around the Pelicans' players), but I would be surprised to see a total under 220 or a line over 6. These two teams are pretty even on the floor and it just comes down to the Pelicans playing 3 nights in a row. As for the Lakers, they’re well-rested. We still have Lowry in play and DeRozan + Siakam will join. Point guard is a pretty weak position on tonight’s slate and I’m a huge fan of both of these guys. Let’s Let’s get to some of the top plays at the other positions. Ish Smith FD - $5200 DK - $4600Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 20.15 DK - 20.07 If Chris Paul was manning the one for Houston, I wouldn’t have much interest in Ish Smith here. It’s just looking like Paul will be out and we’ll see a combo of Eric Gordon and James Harden at the one. Neither are strong defenders and will struggle with the size and speed of Smith. Smith has been great over the last few games and shows no sign of slowing down. Assuming Paul is out and the Rockets play small, you can target three or four bombers on the other side of things. Smith is my favorite guard on the Pistons and I think it’s safe to project 25-30 fantasy points. 30+ if it stays close and high-scoring, as expected. D.J. Augustin FD - $5500 DK - $5000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 29.01 DK - 30.43 Point guard isn’t really a spot to go cheap tonight, so let’s focus back...
