We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Early Carlos Carrasco FD 9000 DK 11500 Opponent - MIL (Junior Guerra) Park - MIL FD - 35.92 DK - 19.55 Kicking it off on this early slate, Carlos Carrasco is a pretty easy pick. There are a couple other guys to consider, but Carrasco is in a solid match-up and has been performing at the top of his game. He's sported a .298 wOBA against righties and a .276 wOBA against lefties. He's struck out 8+ batters per 9 innings and has held a 3.79 xFIP on the season. His price is fair on both sites and there are ways to pay down with ease on this early slate. Miller Park is a good park for hitting, but it's nothing to worry about. The Brewers rank 22nd against righties in baseball, sporting a .306 wOBA and 25% strikeout rate. Carrasco is the top dog on this early slate and there's no way around it. Let's get to the main slate! Main Alex Wood FD 8200 DK 7600 Opponent - ARI (Patrick Corbin) Park - LAD FD - 32.83 DK - 17.16 Moving on to the main slate, there isn't much clarity at pitcher. There are a lot of serviceable options who can give you a good outing, but none of them stand out and you're going to have uncertainty with each of these guys. Rick Porcello and Patrick Corbin are the two most expensive options and they will probably be around 10-15% owned, like the rest of this mid/high-end. We'll focus on Alex Wood, who's facing off with the Diamondbacks at home in Dodger Stadium. Wood hasn't been perfect this season, but he's been over 5 innings in 5 of his 6 starts and his BB rate is about 2x lower than it ever has been. He's been able to work deeper into games and it's given him a ton more consistency. He's still striking out 8+ per 9 innings and has those games where he eclipses 10. This match-up against Arizona is phenomenal, but they rank 5th in strikeouts vs lefties and only hold a team .321...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Max Scherzer FD 11500 DK 13400 Opponent - PHI (Jake Arrieta) Park - WSH FD - 47.2 DK - 26.51 Welcome to Sunday baseball! We have a day full of baseball on our hands with an 8-game main slate. There’s a whole lot of options at each position and pitcher is certainly one. Scherzer is the most expensive piece on the board and deservedly so. He’s been extremely consistent to start the season and is pitching as good as he ever has. In 45 total innings, he’s struck out 65 batters and has given up nine runs. He now sees one of the best match-ups of the season against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies rank 21st in baseball against righties with a team .311 wOBA and relatively high 26% strikeout rate. They’re now entering the kingdom of Max Scherzer and should have all that fun of a day. Vegas has their run projection below three and that sends a huge message. He’s the top option on the board regardless of price and is just comes down to whether or not you can afford him. Noah Syndergaard FD 10300 DK 11600 Opponent - COL (Kyle Freeland) Park - NYM FD - 42.39 DK - 23.76 There’s a whole bunch of stud pitchers taking the mound today and you can only play one or two of them. There’s also a few on the later slate, which we fortunately don’t have to worry all that much about. On this main slate, Noah Syndergaard is the clear pivot from Scherzer. He’s had a couple rough starts here and there, but overall looks like the Thor we’re used to. He draws a match-up with the 3rd worst team in baseball against righties, ranking 28th with a .289 wOBA and 24% strikeout rate. They have a couple of big bats to worry about, but they all strikeout a ton and have one of the worst lower half’s of the order I’ve ever seen. Syndergaard is dominant against both sides of the plate and allowed a .251 Combined wOBA in ‘17. He’s not in as good of a spot as Max Scherzer is, but he’s seeing a bad Rockies team away from Coors Field and could easily dominate without a single blink. I’ll have exposure to...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Gerrit Cole FD 10800 DK 12400 Opponent - ARI (Kris Medlen) Park - ARI FD - 40.55 DK - 21.75 Welcome to Friday baseball! We have a jam-packed Friday on our hands with a whole lot of options at just about every position. We start at pitcher, where you'll probably want to pay up. The top option on the board is Gerrit Cole, who'll face off with the Arizona Diamondbacks in Chase Field. It was once a hitter haven, but the humidor has stopped that in its tracks. It's now right next to Marlins Park in terms of production, which is just a crazy change. Gerrit Cole has been one of the most consistent arms in all of baseball and doesn't have a single bad start to this point. He's gone seven innings in all but one game so far and that game he went 6.2 innings. He's reached 43 FD points in every start and now has one of his best match-ups yet. Against righties, the D-Backs strikeout at a whopping 24.5% and rank 17th in baseball with a .313 wOBA. They have some obvious bats to avoid, but Cole is one of the elite pitchers in the game and shouldn't have all that much trouble against a subpar D-Backs squad. Jose Berrios FD 8800 DK 9800 Opponent - CHW (Carson Fulmer) Park - CHW FD - 35.9 DK - 18.89 If you're looking to pay down a bit, Jose Berrios can be played in all formats. He admittedly struggled last time out against the Reds, but we know who the pitcher Jose Berrios is turning into. Up to this point, he's dominated the Orioles, White Sox, and the Indians. He now draws the White Sox again, who happen to rank 15th in baseball against right-handed pitching. They have a few bats that have impressed, but still strikeout a ton and have an extremely weak lower half of the order. U.S. Cellular Field is average for run production and Vegas has the White Sox slated at just 3.87 runs. Berrios is fairly priced on both slates and makes for a solid option in both cash games and tournaments. I will personally do my best to get to Gerrit Cole, but Berrios is a fine settle. Strongly consider Zack...

Daily Fantasy MLB Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 5/2/18 Welcome to Wednesday baseball! We have a full day of games on our hands with two very different slates on both sites. We’ll get to the early slate first, which is a bit more cut and dry at pitcher. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB optimizer and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with MLB? Be sure to read our free MLB Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Early Corey Kluber FD 11600 DK 13200 Opponent - TEX (Matt Moore) Park - CLE FD - 47.41 DK - 26.32 Sure, some will go Carlos Martinez against the White Sox, but Corey Kluber is the easy choice. Even after struggling and giving up three earned runs to the Mariners, he went 8.2 innings and struck out 10. Kluber is an absolute workhorse and you can expect him to be in there for up to 111-120 pitches if things are clicking. He’s been right up there as one of the best in baseball, sporting opponent wOBA numbers that below .240 against both sides of the plate. Wednesday, he faces off with the Texas Rangers. The same Rangers squad that ranks 26th against righties and strikes out 25.5% of the time. They have some big boppers, but they all strike out a ton and Kluber isn’t the guy to mess with. He has 12+ K upside and can single-handedly separate the field on this slate. He’s an easy choice in all formats and I don’t think ownership is all too much of a worry. Main Stephen Strasburg FD 9700 DK 10800 Opponent - PIT (Ivan Nova) Park - WSH FD - 40.69 DK - 22.26 On to the main slate! There are actually a ton of different ways to go on this slate and the ownership should be pretty spread out. On the super high-end, we are looking at DeGrom and Severino. Both are in play, but I much prefer paying for Strasburg, who sees a strong match-up with the Pittsburgh Pirates. They aren’t a bad team by any means but rank 18th against righties with a .312 wOBA. They K 20% of the time and are simply one of the more underwhelming offenses around. If you can find your way past Gregory Polanco and Corey Dickerson, you have a whole lot of subpar bats that are barely capable of hitting the ball to the warning track. Strasburg pitches much better at home and Dusty Baker is a manager who's known...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Jake Arrieta FD 8800 DK 10900 Opponent - MIA (Dan Straily) Park - MIA FD - 36.02 DK - 18.74 Welcome to Monday baseball! We have 10 games on the slate and a whole lot to decipher. We also have an early game, where you'll want to play Trevor Bauer against the Rangers. On this main slate, Jake Arrieta is the top option. He gets to face off with the Miami Marlins, which is one of the first things we look at every singe day. On the season, the Marlins rank dead last against righties with a pitiful .264 team wOBA. For reference, the Giants, who were dead last in 2017, held a .298 wOBA against righties. This Marlins team is historically bad and should be targeted as much as possible. They basically just rely on Justin Bour connecting on a fastball or Castro and Dietrich figuring something out. Arrieta isn't the same pitcher he once was, but he's been damn good recently. Over the last three games, he's gone 20.2 innings while striking out 13 and giving up 3 ER. His wOBA against is sitting at .220 against both sides of the plate and his strikeouts should come back to around 8-10 K/9. His price is fair on both sites and it's hard to find a reason to avoid him. Arrieta is my favorite pitcher on the slate and will be locked into the majority of my lineups. Jeff Samardzija FD 7900 DK 8700 Opponent - SD (Eric Lauer) Park - SF FD - 37.19 DK - 19.74 If you're not a fan of Jake Arrieta or think he's too volatile for how popular he will be, there is merit in pivoting to Jeff Samardzija. He has one of the better match-ups in the league with the Padres, who rank 26th against righties with a .291 wOBA. They just don't have much pop at all. Wil Myers is back out again and it's now Christian Villanueva in the 3 hole. It only gets worse after that. Samardzija is truly a weird pitcher and sometimes you just get a bad product. If he's on, you can easily see 7 innings and 7 strikeouts here with an easy win. The price is fair on both sites and he allows you...
