What We Know Rondae-Hollis Jefferson is out against the Pacers This definitely gives a bump up to Paul George. George had one downside tonight, and that was his individual defender. Now that Jefferson is out, you almost have to play George at SF. The Nets guards should also pick up some minutes, and are decent tournament options. What We're Waiting to Know Damian Lillard is questionable against the Lakers I expect Lillard to is this one, as he is supposedly more doubtful than questionable. C.J. McCollum remains a terrific play, as he will be the point guard and get a ton of usage. Allen Crabbe and Mason Plumlee also have gained a bunch of usage. Patrick Beverley is a GTD against the Thunder Beverley expects to play tonight, and that definitely does temper expectations for Russell Westbrook. With that being said, he is still a great option in tournaments. Corey Brewer will also head to the bench, and he loses all appeal. Luol Deng & Jordan Clarkson are questionable The Lakers have been injury riddled for all year, and these 2 guys ae now going to likely take at least 1 game off here. If they do,D'Angelo Russell, Lou Williams and Nick Young should get a lot of run. You can play all of those guys in both cash games and tournaments. The "Every Lineup" Guys James Harden I touched on both of these guys in the main picks article, and you can head there if you want to see a more lengthy explanation. Harden takes on the Thunder tonight, a team who plays fast and doesn't play much defense. With Beverley expected to be back, Oladipo will likely cover Harden. He is a decent man to man defender, but lacks the size and footwork to stay with Harden. He can be used in both cash games and tournaments, and won't be the reason you lose tonight. Julius Randle Randle is an absolute moster, and...

Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $12400 DK - $12300 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 54.89 DK - 58.66 Russ Westbrook isn't coming in as one of our top PG's of the day, but I still felt obligated to talk about him. He is going to be highly owned, and is definitely a good subject of discussion. I will definitely have exposure in tournaments, but the price is just too high in cash games, and I prefer Harden. Westbrook is just consistently great. He came through with 65 fantasy points, and almost another triple double. Patrick Beverley will return tonight, which does hamper it quite a bit. There is also not too much value on this slate yet, so it won't be easy to pay up in more than 1 spot, unless a bunch of value comes out as the day goes on. All in all, if you want exposure to Russell Westbrook, get it in tournaments. Kemba Walker FD - $8100 DK - $7900 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 39.82 DK - 42.15 Kemba has been a different player this year, and doesn't even look like the same player from other years. He has the vibe of a floor leader, and now has the skills to back it up. The Pistons have been league average against PG's, and Reggie Jackson has never been known for his defense. Walker should be able to get open easily, and he can score from anywhere on the court. Andre Drummond is a good center, but Walker will run circles around him in the lane. He is more of a cash game play for me, as I don't think the upside is there against the slow paced Hornets teams. Jeff Teague FD - $7800 DK - $7400 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 39 DK - 41.5 We are going to be targeting a lot of Indiana Pacers tonight. They take on the Nets, who have by far the worst defense en the league and run at an incredibly fast pace. The Pacers have a lot of talent, and a lot of guys who can score the ball. Teague stands at the top of the list, and has definitely been the best player on the...

What We Know Chris Paul & Damian Lillard are both doubtful, and fully expected to miss This is the same show & dance from both of these guys, and they should both sit again. For the Clippers, Austin Rivers benefits most. As for the Blazers, you can plug and play C.J. McCollum tonight. Everyone else in the starting lineup is in play as well, as the usage will stay up. Kristaps Porzingis is also doubtful Porzingis has missed the last 2 games, and it looks like he will miss another one here. Noah has definitely taken advantage, and he will get a little extra run tonight. He can be played in both cash games and tournaments, as his price is low. What We're Waiting to Know LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving are all questionable I think they either all play or all sit out. In the case they all play, I would look at everyone as a strict tournament play only. If they all miss, things could get really interesting. Almost everyone who starts would be in play, as well as whoever you think would be the 1st 2 guys up from the bench. Iman Shumpert, Kay Felder and Jordan McRae would be my favorite as I expect them to get a ton of usage. If only 1 or 2 guys play, the other star(s) would be in play in both cash games and tournaments. Dwyane Wade is questionable against the Cavs With Wade out last time, Butler sure took advantage. He finished with 52 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. While we definitely can't expect that again, we can look for him to have a nice game. Even if Wade plays, Butler is still in play. The Cavs are good on defense, but this game figures to be very competitive. Wade is also a tournament option if he plays. Evan Fournier has been listed as questionable Fournier has been questionable 5 games...

Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11800 DK - $12600 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 54.61 DK - 58.24 Russell Westbrook is going to lead us like he does most nights at the point guard position. Tonight, the Thunder will take on the Hornets in Charlotte. The Hornets are a pretty average defensive team, and most;y ride on the back of Batum and MKG. Outside of those guys, Kemba Walker struggles and Marvin Williams isn't very fleet of foot. Westbrook should be able to get to the rim at will, even if they put Batum on him. He is expensive, but like always, he has the upside to win you a tournament and the floor to make you comfortable in cash games. There are a lot of good ways to pay up, so you have to decide if Westbrook is worth it. Dennis Schroder FD - $6800 DK - $6600 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 33.71 DK - 36.42 Schroder has been really solid this season, to no surprise. He has been sitting right around that 30 mark on a consistent basis and has shown a ceiling that exceeds 50. The Magic are decent vs the point guard, but Schroder has the right tools to beat this defense. They are very prone to the spot up jumper, and Schroder shoots a ton of them coming off of screens. He is mid priced on both FD and DK, so is pretty easy to fit. Whether you want a safe 30 or the chance for 50, Schroder is the way to go. These point guards in the middle usually go underowned as well, as most attention gets drawn to the superstars and value plays. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $4400 DK - $5300 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 28.15 DK - 30.07 Speaking of point guard value play, we have Malcolm Brogdon. I was off of him after that great game, and reaped the benefits on him being high owned. I am back on board tonight with the Bucks taking on the Knicks. Hopefully some people will jump off the Brogdon train, and he comes in somewhat low owned. The Knicks aren't horrible against PG's, but they also aren't great. Rose is...

What We Know Hassan Whiteside & Justise Winslow have been ruled out against the Suns Whiteside and Winslow both command the ball a lot and play a lot of minutes. With James Johnson also questionable, the Heat could be lacking big men. I think Willie Reed is interesting, but he could easily get 15 minutes and 8 fantasy points. Derrick Williams could get a lot of run, and he has always been a great FP per minute player. The Suns play fast, and Williams is a guy that plays well with that pace. He has tournament upside, but I wouldn't touch him in cash games. Rudy Gay has been ruled out against the Nuggets This makes Cousins an elite play. Cousins has a usage of 42% with Gay out, which is only 3% less than Westbrook this year. Cousins is an absolute monster, and there is nobody that can stop him on the Nuggets. I think Jokic will get into foul trouble early, and that will leave some poor defenders on Cousins. This could be one of the better performances of his year, and you will want a lot of exposure. Sergio Rodriguez will remain out tonight ROdriguez plays a good amount of minutes, and this leaves T.J. McConnell as the only healthy point guard. He could play 40 minutes tonight, and that will equal success against a T-Wolves team that can give it up to point guard. McConnell is cheap, and super safe as a cash game play. His ceiling is high enough to play him in tournaments as well. What We're Waiting to Know Jeff Teague is questionable with a sprained ankle Teague is a huge part of this offense, and if he misses this game, you almost have to play Paul George. With all the value on this slate, he is eay to pay for and will get a big usage bump. I will lock him into all of my lineups, on...
