Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/8/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another exciting day of NHL action here at DFSR. This evening, we have a massive 12-game slate on tap for us with only two teams(BUF,PHI) playing on consecutive nights, so almost everyone should be well-rested and ready to go. There are some weak defenses to go along with some high-powered offenses hitting the ice today, so let's not waste any more time and dive right into the picks. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Pekka Rinne FD - $9100 DK - $8200 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 14.76 DK - 3.69 Elite goalies realize when it is time to shine and this veteran superstar is more than ready to carry his team on his back as the Preds look to make a deep playoff run again this season. Rinne is a terrific 17-1-1 in his last 19 games to go along with a stifling .928 save %, 2.29 GAA, and seven shutouts. The Ducks have been playing better of late, but they still own the league's 19th ranked offense and Rinne most recently earned a shutout against a solid Stars offense, so I'm not the least bit concerned this evening. Rinne is equivalent to a brick wall right now and he is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats. Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9200 DK - $8500 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 14.29 DK - 3.57 If all you are worried about when rostering a goalie is earning the 12 points on Fanduel and four points over at Draftkings for the win then this is your guy but I will warn you that he could very well allow more than a couple of goals in the process. It helps a great deal when you play for the league's #1 powerhouse of an offense, but the young tender has allowed 10 goals in...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/6/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another awesome day of NHL action here at DFSR. This evening, we have nine games on tap for us with only one team(DAL) playing in a back-to-back, so almost everyone should be well-rested and ready to give it all they have. Let's get this party started! If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Devan Dubnyk FD - $8600 DK - $8400 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 13.5 DK - 3.97 There are two elite tenders that stand out above the rest for me and it starts with Dubnyk, who has been absolute money this season on home-ice as he carries an 18-3-5 record to go along with a stifling .930 save % and a 2.15 GAA while playing in Minnesota. The veteran goalie has won five of his last six starts as he looks to carry the Wild on his back into the postseason. Dubnyk and the Wild are on a roll and the Hurricanes are ranked 26th offensively, so all things considered, he is a terrific play in all formats. Pekka Rinne FD - $8700 DK - $8100 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 15.7 DK - 3.93 This superstar goalie is a ridiculous 16-1-1 in his last 18 games and he just recorded his 35th of the win of the season which is second-best in the league. Also, he has a terrific .927 save % to go along with a respectable 2.32 GAA and he has won his last six games in a row. While the Stars are slightly above average offensively, they are currently going into overtime in Dallas as I am writing this, so they will be getting into Nashville very late and should be exhausted. Fire up Rinne in all formats as the Preds should cruise to an easy victory on home-ice this evening. CENTERS Nathan MacKinnon FD - $8600 DK -...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/2/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/2/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another awesome day of NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have an impressive nine-game Friday slate in store for us and there some high-powered offenses to go along with quite a few weak defenses in action this evening. Let's get this party started and dive right into some of my favorite picks. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8700 DK - $8500 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 15.64 DK - 3.91 The Vegas Golden Knights have been quite a story so far in their first season and this guy has been a huge part of their success. Since returning from a concussion on December 12th, the veteran carries an 18-6-3 record to go along with a .930 save%, a 2.10 GAA and he hasn't allowed more than three goals in 26 of those 27 games. The Senators are ranked 25th in offense and the Golden Knights are listed as massive -275 favorites on home-ice, so all things considered, "The Flower" is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $8200 DK - $8400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 15.51 DK - 3.88 There may be a few people that hop off of the "Helly" wagon after he allowed six goals in his last outing against the Predators. But for the record, I won't be one of them as these things happen to the best of them from time to time. The young tender has been a monster this season as he boasts a 32-10-8 record to go along with a .922 save %, a 2.29 GAA, and six shutouts. Hellebuyck is even better at home with a 22-5-2 record and the Red Wings are ranked 27th offensively, so I'm staying in my first class window seat as this Jet is about to take-off. Fire...

NHL Trade Deadline Breakdown For Daily Fantasy 3/1/18

NHL Trade Deadline Breakdown For Daily Fantasy 3/1/18 Hello everyone, finally we can all breathe after a very busy and one of the most exciting NHL trade deadlines that we have witnessed in a long, long time. I am here to break down the most fantasy-relevant trades for you in no particular order, so let's get started, shall we? Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NBA DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NBA lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NBA lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW!   Rick Nash - Boston Bruins - Traded from New York Rangers After spending his first nine years in Columbus and then six in New York, the first overall pick in the 2002 NHL entry draft now finds himself in Boston as he joins a solid Bruins squad ready for a lengthy playoff run. Nash has an impressive 800 points and an elite 3.54 shot per game average so far during his career which consists of 1,051 games. While he sported a -71 plus/minus in Columbus, he bounced back with a +64 during his six years in the Big Apple. Nash has a goal and 10 shots in his first two games with the Bruins while playing on the #2 line and the #1 powerplay unit and when Patrice Bergeron is back from his injury, it will only help his fantasy production. The biggest concern about Nash is his aging body as he hasn't played more than 70 games in his last four years, but from a fantasy perspective as long as he's healthy, his value is much higher as a member of the Bruins. Evander Kane - San Jose Sharks - Traded from Buffalo Sabres I honestly thought that the Sharks would have had to give up more for this guy, but maybe his past off-ice and character issues kept his price down a tad bit. Regardless, if Kane can't succeed at his current opportunity with the Sharks, then maybe he can't succeed anywhere in the NHL. Nobody can question the 26-year-old's immense talent as he has 340 points and an elite 3.54 shot per game average in 557 games in Buffalo and Winnipeg/Atlanta, but the fourth overall pick in 2009 can't seem to...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/28/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/28/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have a smallish five-game slate in store for us, but as always it should not be short of excitement, so let's get this party started. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9300 DK - $8500 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 14.43 DK - 3.61 When searching for a goalie, everyone and their ancestors will be all over this guy today, who happens to lead the league with 37 wins and seven shutouts to go along with a respectable .927 save % and a 2.35 GAA. One of the biggest reasons why Vasilevskiy will be very popular is because the Sabres own the league's second-worst offense and they just traded away sniper Evander Kane to the Sharks. The young superstar has won his last four games and he and the Lightning should cruise to an easy victory, so all things considered, he is an elite cash game option and fade him at your own risk(not recommended). Semyon Varlamov FD - $7900 DK - $8000 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 13.75 DK - 3.23 Because Vasilevskiy will be very highly owned this evening, it is a great idea to look elsewhere in GPP formats and enter Varlamov, who has been money on home-ice this season with a 10-4 record to go along with a stifling .933 save % and a 2.31 GAA. The Flames own the league's eighth-ranked offense on the road and they can score goals in bunches which gives this guy a low floor, but his upside potential is huge at home, so fire him up in your tournament lineups this evening. CENTERS Nathan MacKinnon FD - $8300 DK - $7800 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 17.81 DK - 5.1 This superstar is a difficult fade on a full...
