Everyone and their ancestors will be picking him this week but he's a must play in cash games. If you fade him you will regret it. Listen to these stats through 4 games... 14 TD's vs 2 interceptions, 1510 passing yards, and an average of 33.8 dk points per game. He has unlimited weapons to throw to and he faces the Argos again who he tore apart last week for 359 yards and 4 TD's. Done deal. Moving on. Darian Durant Saskatchewan 8800 Since Collaros will be very highly owned this week, I love double D for a few of my tournament lineups to get away from the masses incase somehow something happens with Hamilton's stud QB. Saskatchewan isn't good, but the rivalry games between the Bombers and the Riders always brings out the best in both teams. Winnipeg has a good football team but their pass D is leaky as it is the worst in the league by allowing 42 pass attempts and 337 yards per game. The Riders suck at running the ball but are actually half decent through the air and they rank 1st in the league in passing attempts per game with 39. Durant finally ended his 4 game drought without having passed for a TD by chucking one last week against the Bombers, and he scored 32.3 dk points. He should be able to pass for a couple more this week in Winnipeg. The Bombers are favoured by 7.5 points so Durant should be trigger happy all game. I like pairing him with two of his wr's this week and it could help take a down a tourney or two. Running Back Jerome Messam Calgary 8200 I do not like paying this price for a running back but like...

Week 11 CFL Daily Fantasy Picks for Draftkings

Collaros has been on the field for the last 3 games for the Tiger-Cats, and their offence has been on fire. Look at these stats folks. 36, 38, and 28 dk points in his last 3 games. I am almost ready to officially call him matchup proof at this point. This week he faces an average Toronto Defence at best. Hamilton's stud QB has already thrown for 1151 yards through 3 games, to go along with 10 Td's and only 1 interception. He has a high floor and almost unlimited upside. I do believe that the next guy I mention will be fairly highly owned this week because of his ridiculously low price, so I am firing Collaros up in all formats this week. Moving on. Matt Nichols Winnipeg 7,000 I do not understand this low price. Most backup QB's are higher than him this week. His top WR Westson Dressler is back this week and possibly Ryan Smith as well, who both played in Saskatchewan together last year by the way, which adds even more value to this pick. He is normally a game manager and nothing special from a DFS perspective, but Saskatchewan is a bad football team, and their entire Defence can be exploited in a major way. Nichols has started the last 4 games for the Bombers, and during that time he has 1016 passing yards, 6 TD's and only 1 interception, and most of those performances were with a bunch of pickup WR's. It's tough to get away from Collaros here because he has been unreal, but if you want to fit a super expensive WR into your lineups this week, then Nicholls offers a fairly high floor with a decent amount of upside at ridiculously low price. Running Back Andrew Harris Winnipeg 7800 If you have been following my weekly column, you will notice how often I have mentioned how much I dislike the running back position in the CFL. Well...

Week 10 CFL Daily Fantasy Picks for Draftkings

Week 10 CFL Daily Fantasy Picks for Draftkings Jones-ing for the NFL? CFL has you covered. CFL picks will be a mixture of top end plays and value plays to help fill your cash-game and GPP lineups on DraftKings. If you need a quick primer on Canadian Football League DFS check out our introduction to the sport. In case you didn’t notice, on Saturday we released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and Player Lab which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings. It’s a robust set of tools; well beyond anything we’ve ever had and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. Using tools like these for the NFL season is crucial and you can grab a free 2 WEEK trial to test out yourself. START YOUR FREE 2 WEEK TRIAL! Week 10 Vegas odds from www.pinnaclesports.com Wpg @ Mon Pick'em T=48.5 Sask @ Edm -13.5 T=56.0 Ham @ Cgy -4.5 T = 53.5 Quarterback Mike Reilly Edmonton 11,000 First of all, anytime you see the Saskatchewan Rough-Riders as a team's opponent for the upcoming week, we are going to be picking on them just a tad bit. Okay maybe a lot. The Riders are not good in any way. I know the Eskimos are a massive favourite but Reilly could easily exceed value before half time. Also last time these teams played it was a high scoring affair with Edmonton winning by only a field goal in overtime. If you think it will be a repeat of that game then he is a good tourney play, but for me he 's going to be exclusively my #1 cash game QB play of the week because of his high floor.  He has two of the very best WR's in the league to throw to, and without his top RB this week, he will be forced to throw even more. This is great news for us as Mikey has thrown for a league best 355 passing yards per game, to go along with 14 TD's versus 6 interceptions, and has an average of 26.6 dk points per game. I'm not even going to show you any of the Riders' defensive stats because they are just simply brutal in every category. Reilly will be fairly highly owned this week but that's fine for cash games. Start him with confidence. Moving on. Zach Collaros Hamilton 10,700 Wow what a couple of awesome games this guy has had. He was injured for the first 6 games, then comes in and starts tearing apart opposing defences. Last week he scored 38.2 dk points in a...

Daily Fantasy CFL Draftkings Picks for Week 9 – 8/19/16

Lions 9,500 It all starts way out west at the QB position this week with this young superstar in the making. If you want a very high floor to go along with an incredibly high ceiling, (which if you like making money then I would hope you do), then JJ is your man. First of all the Lions face off at home against the Calgary Stampeders this week. Vegas believes that this could turn into a high scoring affair, and I couldn't agree more as the Lions are a small favourite at 2.5 points with the total currently sitting at 55.5. Jennings has already thrown for 2048 yards through only 7 games, which works out to an average of 293 yards per game. Adding to the fact that he averages 23.8 dk points per game, and Calgary being 3rd worst in the league by giving up an average of 302 yards per game makes this about as safe of a pick as you can find anywhere this week. He is also the best rushing QB in the game as he has ran for 164 yards and 3 TD's so far this season, and he is surrounded with a ton of talented receivers. In their first meeting this year the Lions signal caller torched the Stampeders by throwing for 374 yards, 3TD's, and running for 44 yards and another TD to add up to 37.4 dk points. There is room for even more upside in this matchup this week because he has been on fire. He is by far my top choice in every format this week. Lock him in and move on. Zach Collaros Hamilton Tiger-Cats 10,100 Finally the Ti-Cats have their franchise QB healthy and firing on all cylinders as was evident last week. In his first game back Collaros threw for 331 yards and 2 TD's for a total of 27.5 points vs the Lions. I thought we may see some rust in his first game back, but that only lasted for the first couple of drives and then it was smooth sailing from there. This week the lowly Rough-Riders head to Hamilton and this next point is why Collaros is not my favourite QB this week. The Riders are...

Daily Fantasy CFL DraftKings Picks for Week 8 – 8/12/16

When I first glanced at the QB salaries on Draftkings for the week, everything seemed fairly normal until I said to myself, What? Where is Kevin Glenn? He is facing the league's worst defence this week, and there I found him at this incredibly low salary. He is priced at 3,400 less than another QB who I like this week who I will mention shortly. Talk about a championship hangover happening for the Edmonton Eskimos. Like seriously, they win the Grey Cup last year and then they jog out this defence week after week? Craziness I'm telling you folks. Glenn isn't flashy by any means, and he's old, but he's averaging 17.6 dk points per game which isn't terrible, and he still has enough left in the tank to make some noise this season. Montreal's Offence isn't great by any means, but the Eskimos have given up a league worst 353.3 passing yards per game. Ouch. Glenn has threw for an average of 281.2 yards per game and has a completion % of 71.8 which is well above the league average this season. I don't need to go any further. At this price we can surround him with high end players and feel great about it. His floor is high and according to Vegas odds, his team is a 7 point underdog with a total at 54.5 because of the Eskimos' explosive offence. If Edmonton scores a couple of early TD's then he could be in line for a monster game.  He is my favourite QB this week in cash games and tournaments, and it's not really that close. He will almost definitely be low owned because of most people's lack of knowledge of the Canadian Football League. But don't you worry. Start him with confidence. Bo-Levi Mitchell Calgary 10,600 For some reason you don't feel like Glenn is your man at QB this week, and you can find a few bargains at other positions, then feel free to go with this guy. The Stampeders are on the back end of a home and home series versus the Rough-Riders this week. Mitchell did not do anything spectacular last...
