Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/23/16 Hello everyone. Today we have a nice cozy little 4 game slate in the NHL, and we are treated to an outdoor game in Winnipeg. If you've never watched one of these you should definately take  time out of your NFL viewing and check it out. You won't be sorry. Anyways lets dive in to today's slate and see what we can come up with to help us win some money. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES John Gibson FD - $8400 DK - $7900 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 13.03 DK - 3.26 I love targeting teams that are on the back end of back to back games, and the Canucks will be reeling after a shutout loss to the Kings last night. Yes I know that Vancouver was undefeated until last night and they have a point in all 5 games they've played, but the season is young and we will definately see some regression, probably as early as tonight in Anaheim. The Canucks are tied for 5th worst in the NHL in goals for with 2.40, and in Gibson's last start he was victorious while giving up only 2 goals in Philly. The Ducks are currently -195 favourites tonight so start Gibson with confidence today.   Antti Raanta FD - $8100 DK - $7800 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 0 DK - 0 You will need to check on who is starting in goal today for the Rangers, but the King played last night in Washington, and he's not a young man anymore, so it's highly likely that Raanta gets the nod tonight vs a weak Coyotes team. Like I mentioned earlier, this will be Arizona's 4th game in 6 nights which is a ton of hockey in a short time period. Yes the Rangers travelled to the nation's capital last night, but it's a short trip and...

Daily Fantasy CFL Drafkings Picks Week 18 - 10/21/16 Hello my fellow CFL fans and everyone new to the Football League of the North. This week we have a 4 game slate on Jones-ing for NFL and can't wait until Sunday? CFL has you covered. DraftKings starting at 6 pm central time on Friday evening. It is getting closer to the end of the regular season, and there are a couple of games in particular that have huge playoff implications. In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. GET A FREE TRIAL NOW! Current CFL Vegas odds from www.thescore.ca Hamilton @ Ottawa -3.5 Total = 53.0 Toronto @ Calgary -17.0 Total = 52.0 Montreal @ Saskatchewan -6.5 Total = 49.0 Edmonton @ BC -2.0 Total = 58.0   Quarterback Mike Reilly Edmonton 11,600 I am going to begin by saying that this is an easy choice for me, so if and most likely when he turns in an outstanding performance this week, I will not be deserving of a medal or a trophy. They just collect dust anyways, and if I didn't mention Reilly first, then I would deserve a swift kick in the pants. Ha don't we all remember that saying when we were kids? Anyways the stud pivot out of Edmonton should be fresh this week coming off of a bye, and before that he surpassed the 5,000 yard passing mark on the season. He is 2nd in the CFL narrowly behind Bo-Levi Mitchell with 5054 yards, and has 25 passing TD's which is also narrowly behind Bo-Levi. In his last 3 games Reilly has thrown for 1001 yards and 5 TD's as well as running the ball in himself for 2 scores. 30.9, 26.2, and 26.9 are his last 3 dk scores, which makes him impossible for me to fade this week in cash games and smaller tourneys. The projected total for this game is 58 points which is the highest of the year so far, and in my opinion this game could reach 70 points. The Lions of BC have been struggling on Defense during the last half of the season, and Reilly is matchup proof anyways, so feel very comfortable this week when you lock him into your lineups. Jonathon Jennings BC 9400 And here we have the opposite end of the spectrum with the Lions signal caller. I wanted to go with Burris...

Current Vegas Odds from www.pinnacle.com B.C. @ Winnipeg -1.5 Total = 54.0 Edmonton -3 @ Montreal Total = 51.5 Calgary -9.0 @ Toronto Total = 52.5 Quarterback Matt Nichols Winnipeg Blue Bombers 7600 The first thing that comes to mind here is the old saying, "don't fix what ain't broken." This week it just makes sense to keep on rolling with the Bombers' signal caller. His price jumped up from $7000 to $7600 but he is still too cheap considering how productive he has been since becoming the starter in Peg City. He boasts a 22.8 dk average in his last 5 games, with his lowest being 20 and his highest 25. At this price he is a steal in cash games with that outstanding consistency. Nichols also stays in the game on plays near the goal-line as evident by his 5 rushing Td's for the season, and 4 in his last 4 games. Almost every other CFL team brings their backup in goal-line situations, but the Bombers don't want to see old man Kevin Glenn shatter to pieces. Nichols has thrown for an average of 283 yards in his last 3 games to go along with 5 Td's. BC has an above average pass D overall this year, but Trevor Harris and the Red-Blacks torched them for 485 passing yards and 2 Td's last week. At this insanely cheap price, and a small spread combined with a high projected total of 54 makes Nichols my top cash game QB play of the week. Jonathon Jennings British Columbia Lions 9200 Go figure. I'm recommending a QB that is about to play against by far the worst Pass D from a yards allowed perspective (329 per game) in the entire CFL, and it isn't even close. Jennings has stunk it up before in good matchups, and he is frustrating to own when your roster him, but we simply can't ignore his matchup this week vs the Blue Bombers of Winnipeg. In his last 3 games he has scored 30.3, 18.5, and 24.4 dk points, while throwing for an average of 322.3 yards and a total of 6 TD's. He also has the ability to run on any given play and has massive upside potential, but his floor is also very...

Week 14 CFL Daily Fantasy Picks for Draftkings

Week 14 CFL Daily Fantasy Picks for Draftkings In case you didn’t notice, on Saturday we released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and Player Lab which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings. It’s a robust set of tools; well beyond anything we’ve ever had and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. SIGN UP NOW! What a crazy week this has been. I was planning on writing an article for the 4 game slate but there were so many question marks for quite a few good players. It just wasn't working out, so I am covering the two game slate on Saturday and I really like the matchups here. I really like two game slates. I think it's because there is an advantage to people who do their research from week to week, as their is less room for errors. Calgary are 9.5 point favourites as the host Winnipeg with a total of 53.5. Calgary rules the West Division, but Winnipeg has won 7 games in a row. It should be a very exciting game actually, and I'm looking forward to it. Then we have the Tiger-Cats of Hamilton travelling to Saskatchewan to face the Riders who actually won their 2nd game last week. The Ti-Cats are favoured by 4.5 points with a total of 51.5. This should go down to the wire as Saskatchewan has been playing better lately and Hamilton will be super hungry for a road win. Let's get to the picks. Quarterback Bo-Levi Mitchell Calgary Stampeders 10,700 Even if I was playing the full slate I would be going with Calgary's stud pivot this week. Mr. Consistent the CFL world calls him, and that sounds like cash game safety written all over it. Bo-Levi has averaged 328 passing yards per game, which is in the upper tier for CFL QB's. He has also passed for 22 TD's vs only 6 interceptions, and has an average of 23.9 dk points per game. All of that sounds great to me. He should be lower owned this week because Winnipeg has won 7 games in a row and they are a good football team, but let's dig a little deeper into their stats to notice something interesting. The Bombers are 2nd best in the league by giving up only 22.3 points per game, and they force an incredible average of 3.0 turnovers per game which is #1 by a long ways. What is he thinking you may ask?? Here it comes. Winnipeg has by far the worst pass defence in the league as they give up an average of 325 yards per...

Current Vegas Odds From www.pinnacle.com Tor @ Wpg -5.5 Total = 50.5 Ott @ Cgy -8.0 Total = 54.0 Edm -5.5 @ Sask Total = 55.0 Quartback Matt Nichols Winnipeg 6800 Say what? 6800? This is crazy for a starting QB who doesn't turn the ball over, and who's about as steady as a rock. His price went down $200 this week which baffles me. I didn't play him last week but I should have, as I recommended Collaros and I went all in. The result? Not good. He had his first stinker of the year. Nichols scored 24 dk points, Collaros 17. I'm not making that mistake this week in cash games and you shouldn't either. Toronto's D is around the league average but they have been getting worse as the season progresses. The Argos have allowed an average of 27.8 points in their last 2 games and their secondary has looked like it has more holes than the last boat I owned. I got very wet. Are you kidding me? There are 7 backup QB's priced higher than  Nichols this week. His upside is always limited because he is a game manager but fire him up in cash games and surround him with pretty much whoever you want. Your welcome. Mike Reilly Edmonton 11,000 Okay Let's get this straight. If salaries weren't involved then Reilly would be my favourite QB in all formats. By a long ways. As I'm writing this I am still waiting on a few major injury updates that will affect our lineup decisions in a major way. If salary will allow us to fit Reilly comfortably into our lineups than we shall not think twice about using him. First of all the Eskimos play Saskatchewan this week who are by far the worst team in the CFL. The Riders allow a league worst 33 points per game and are at the bottom of the league in almost every defensive category possible. Ouch!! Reilly has averaged 31 dk points in his last 4 games. Last week he scored 40 dk points, while he threw for 432 yards and 2 TD's. This is the part...
