Playing in cash games today is not advisable, but I'm stubborn and I will still have my share of 50/50 and double-up lineups. I couldn't believe how amazing that Greiss has been until I read his stats last night. The German netminder is 5-0-1 in his last six games with an outstanding 1.32 goals against average, a .955 save percentage and two shutouts. Tonight the Islanders travel to Detroit to play the Wings and their not so good 24th ranked offense. Greiss shouldn't be a popular pick today because Detroit is a slight favorite as of now. We just needed to dig a little deeper to try and find our "best" option. Enter Carey price, who is still the best goalie in the world. Yes I know he has been struggling by his standards recently, but he stood on his head last game in a victory against the Sabres. Price has won two of his last three starts. During those three games, he had an average of 37.3 shots fired against him, while allowing only six goals. That is a ton of rubber he has been seeing lately. This evening, he and the Habs travel to Philly to play the lowly Flyers and their 20th ranked offense. Price is way too cheap over at Draftkings, so because of the shots he has been facing, he is a great play in all formats there and he is a great GPP play on Fanduel.     Corey Crawford FD - $8800 DK - $8200 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 13.45 DK - 3.36 Here we have another goalie who is away from his home barn this evening, but Chicago is playing a very bad team in the Arizona Coyotes. I don't like recommending goalies for cash games when they are on the road, but it is a tough night at the netminder position. Crawford has lost his last two games, but he hasn't lost...

He's not actually a King, so I will call him Lundqvist or Henrik. He's past his prime, but on this four-game slate, we have very few options. Lundqvist is currently the best bet for that all-important victory tonight ( -155 according to Vegas odds,) so we will consider him the safest of the bunch. He survived a not-so-good stretch for a few games and has done quite well in his last three starts. He has recorded wins in all of those games, as well as recording a shutout while allowing only four goals in the process. The Flyers are below average on offense (17th,) but they have shown that they can score goals in bunches at times. All we have here is the fact that we have to trust the Vegas odds. It's a bad night for choosing a cash game goalie, but if you insist on choosing one, then Lundqvist is your safest option.     Frederik Andersen FD - $8800 DK - $7800 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 16.05 DK - 4.01 Hey Frederik, I apologize for calling you Swedish a few weeks ago in one of my articles. With Murra having made three straight starts, it should be Fleury back between the pipes today to face te struggling Bruins. Fleury has not been on top of his game lately losing two straight after his five-game win streak was snapped but he has been elite at home this season.  In 14 starts on home ice Fleury has an 11-2-1 record with .924 save % and two shutouts. He is fine in cash games in an early slate scenario but I would reserve for GPP if you are playing an All Day contest.      Corey Crawford FD - $9000 DK - $8100 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 18.4 DK - 4.6 Scott Darling FD - $8600 DK - $8000 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 18.8 DK - 4.7 It's too early for goalie confirmations so I list both options as the Blackhawks are in a great spot tonight as big home favorites(-210) to the visiting Canucks. Crawford has struggled lately giving up three or more goals in five of his last six starts so it very well could be the red hot Scott Darling tonight. He is coming off a 30 save shutout of the Bruins and has only allowed two goals in his last 74 shots against. Darling has...

You have earned it, but mostly because you are playing at home this evening. Originally I thought that Miller would only be a tournament play today, but then I dug a little deeper into his statistics. This guy has been money at home, as evident by his 11-4-1 record. He plays for the Vancouver Canucks who haven't been good this season. But hey, sometimes certain things just click. The thing that has put him as my favorite goalie tonight, is the fact that he has won his last 10 starts while playing in his home barn and he shut-out a not so bad Nashville Predators team in his most recent start. The Canucks welcome the Florida Panthers to town this evening. Florida owns the league's 26th ranked offense and they are struggling to find any offensive momentum on a regular basis. Vancouver struggles in the offensive department, but the fact that Florida allowed nine goals in total to Calgary and Edmonton in their last two games, makes this an even safer play for me this evening. I think we should consider him as our safest goalie and move on from here.       Cameron Talbot FD - $9100 DK - $8100 Opponent - NAS Proj Pts FD - 16.32 DK - 4.08 The Oilers are an improved team this season.
