GOALIES Jonathan Bernier FD - $8500 DK - $8300 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 18.47 DK - 4.62 We actually have two goalies in very favorable positions today (Bernier, Murray,) but because the Devils have scored 10 goals in their last two games and the Sabres were blanked last night, Bernier is my top choice between the pipes for this four-game slate. The former L.A. King has filled in admirably for starter John Gibson since he has been injured. He has won his last four starts while allowing only six goals in those four games while earning a shutout in Chicago three games ago as he stopped all 43 shots he faced. In his last game, the young tender allowed only one goal against the St. Louis Blues. Also, during his four-game win streak, he has recorded a .952 save % and a 1.47 GAA. Are you convinced yet? You should be. Bernier is a great play in all formats against the Sabres and their 21st ranked offense.     Also Consider: Antti Raanta (GPP)     CENTERS Ryan Getzlaf FD - $7500 DK - $6500 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 12.27 DK - 3.8 This guy has been heating up for the Ducks, which is good news as they're right in the middle of the playoff race in the Western Conference. Carey Price and Braden Holtby are in action today, but their situations are far from ideal. Regardless, those two are usually very popular, so this should keep Raanta's ownership at a minimum today. The Rangers' tender did allow four goals against Carolina last game, but he won three starts in a row before that, to go along with a shutout two games ago in Tampa Bay against a solid Lightning team. The Rangers are a small favorite today (-125) on the road and I think that they take care of business against a poor Detroit squad. Fire Raanta up in your GPP lineups. Bob hasn't allowed a goal in three consecutive starts. Three shutouts in a row? That's pretty impressive stuff there Bob. Buffalo has been scoring a few goals lately, but when you're as hot as Bobrovsky is, that shouldn't matter today. The Sabres are still ranked 21st overall on offense and the Blue Jackets have been playing well lately. We can possibly look elsewhere in other formats because he will be highly owned today, but Bobrovsky should be highly considered for you cash game lineups.     Jake Allen FD - $8600 DK - $7700 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 17.95 DK - 4.49 This guy has been up and down like a roller coaster this year, but he's been stellar in his last two starts. If you want to take down a tournament or two, you need to separate yourself from the masses and Allen will possibly help you do that today. He has allowed only one goal in his last two starts and both of those games were on the road. Allen faces the Ducks of Anaheim and their 20th ranked offense today in his home barn. Today him and the Bruins welcome the lowly Detroit Red Wings to town. The Wings are a struggling team this season. They are ranked 26th on offense and their powerplay unit is the absolute worst overall (30th)in the NHL. Tuukka has lost his last two games, but before that he won five out of six starts, including a shutout vs. Montreal. Detroit is playing in back-to-back road games, so that adds more icing to the cake. Rask is the top goalie play in all formats today.     Also Consider: Matt Murray - Pit (GPP) CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $8800 DK - $7900 Opponent - WPG Proj Pts FD - 17.89 DK - 5.2 The Russian star has been outplaying his teammate "Sid the Kid" lately and tonight the Pens travel to Winnipeg to play the undisciplined Jets. The Jets are ranked 27th in the league on defense and their penalty kill is ranked 24th. That's not good news for Winnipeg as Pittsburgh is the best offensive team in the league and their powerplay is second best overall. Malkin has three goals, two assists and eight shots on goal in his last two games. He averages 1.18 points per game which is just barely behind Crosby (1.19) for the best in the league. Enough said. The Capitals are the best team in the NHL and Holtby has been elite between the pipes this year. He has won his last five starts and hasn't lost in regulation time in his 14 starts. The Vezina trophy candidate leads the entire league with a GAA of 1.91 and eight shutouts and the Capitals are listed as -240 favorites today according to Vegas. Holtby will be very popular, so you can possibly look elsewhere for your tournament lineups, but fading him in cash games is very risky.     Also Consider: Tuukka Rask (GPP)     CENTERS Patrice Bergeron FD - $7200 DK - $7300 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 17.39 DK - 5.57 This French Canadian star center is nominated every single year for the league's best defensive forward. Well, this year he has been on a mission from an offensive standpoint as well.  Bergeron had two assists last game to go along with six shots on goal and in his last five games, has two goals, six assists and 21 shots on goal. The matchup isn't great against the 10th ranked Senators defense but on a small slate, it is going to be hard to fade the consistency and upside that Bergeron brings to the table.
