Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/6/17 Welcome back for another big night in daily fantasy hockey. With just four nights left in the regular season we are going to be treated with three more big slates and it starts tonight with 12 games. Everyone should be well rested as there are no teams playing on a back to back. Let's jump right into the picks.   Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Tuukka Rask FD - $8900 DK - $7900 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 19.19 DK - 4.8 This pick should mean a lot to all of you because of the fact that I'm a Habs fan and not a Bruins fan "gulp." The Finnish net-minder has always been one of the best in the league and lately he's been pretty darned good. He has basically taken his team on his back as he's won his last four starts. During those four starts, the veteran has recorded two shutouts while allowing only three goals in those four games, to go along with a .972 save percentage.  The Bruins are trying to prove a point as they cruise into the post-season, so start Rask witih confidence in all formats.     Matt Murray FD - $9200 DK - $8300 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 17.2 DK - 4.3 It is tough this time of the year when choosing a goalie, especially when their team has clinched a playoff berth. What we need to do though, as we should do all the time, is pick on weak offenses and in this situation, it doesn't matter who the goalie is because Murray and Fleury are both very capable of shutting down a weak Devils squad. The young Canadian net-minder has won his last three games while allowing only six goals in the process. New Jersey owns the league's second worst offense, so look for Murray and the Penguins to cruise to...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/3/16 Hello hockey fans and welcome to a nice and cozy three-game Monday slate in the NHL here at DFSR. Today we have only one team, the Buffalo Sabres playing in back-to-back games, so there should be some well-rested teams out there. Let's not waste any more time and look at some picks from the projection system. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Carey Price FD - $9300 DK - $8400 Opponent - FLA Proj Pts FD - 15.83 DK - 3.96 It's nice to see this superstar goalie healthy as a horse again and he's as happy as ever as his team is very close to locking up the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. Price has been right lately as he has won four games in a row while allowing only four goals in the process. The Canadian net-minder has also won six of his last eight games and 12 of his last 14, while posting a goals against average of 1.50. Him and the Habs defeated the Panthers in Montreal two games ago as he allowed only two goals. The Panthers are down to their third string goalie and they are eliminated from playoff contention. There are no Vegas odds out for this game yet, but I expect the Habs to be at least -160 favorites to come away with a road victory this evening and possibly clinch their division. Price is an elite play in all formats.     Also Consider: Frederik Andersen (TOR)     CENTERS Auston Matthews FD - $7200 DK - $7800 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 15.46 DK - 4.39 Wow, is this rookie sensation running away with the Calder trophy or what? He's leaving Laine and company in the dust and fading him at this moment could be a dangerous proposition. The #1 overall pick in last year's draft is on a very lengthy eight...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/2/17

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/2/17 Hello hockey fans and welcome to a very exciting day in the NHL here at DFSR. There are a total of 11 games, but we will ignore the earliest game and concentrate on the early slate and the main slate on both sites. We have quite a few teams playing in back-to-back games as well as their third game in four nights, so it should be an interesting day to say the least. The first pick at each position will be for the early slate, while the other picks will be for the main slate. Let's get this exciting day started, shall we? Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create linueps with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Matt Murray FD - $9100 DK - $8200 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 19.38 DK - 4.84 Let's start off with a goalie for the early slate. Murray hasn't been great lately as he has allowed 14 goals in his last five games, but his record is 3-1-1 during those five games. A large reason for that is the fact that the Pens happen to own the league's #1 offense, which makes a goalie's life a heck of a lot easier. The Hurricanes travel to Pittsburgh today after being shut out 3-0 last night against Dallas and this will be their third game in four nights. It also helps that the Hurricanes own the league's 24th ranked offense and after last night, they've probably just called it quits for the season. The Penguins are listed as a -185 favorite today and they should cruise to a fairly easy victory. Murray is a solid play in all formats for the early slate. If Fleury gets the start, then he is also a solid play in all formats.     Jonathan Quick FD - $8600 DK - $8300 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 20.81 DK - 5.2 I recommended this guy against the Canucks on...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/31/17 Welcome back for another night of daily fantasy hockey. We have a larger than usual Friday slate with seven games as the playoffs close in. Only three teams(NYI, CBJ, SJ) are playing a back to back but the Blue Jackets and Sharks are also playing their third game in four nights. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create linueps with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Braden Holtby FD - $9500 DK - $8500 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 19.07 DK - 4.77 We have a few goalies who have favorable matchups today, but this guy stands out above the rest for me. First of all, the Capitals are a massive -260 favorites as they travel to Arizona to play the Coyotes and their 27th ranked offense. Second, this guy is a pretty darned good goalie. His record is 40-17 this season with a GAA of 2.00, a save percentage of .926 and has eight shutouts. The superstar tender has won his last five games and while he did allow four goals in his last game, he allowed a total of only seven goals in his four starts before that. Look for the Capitals to dominate this game from the start to finish this evening. Holtby is a great play in all formats against a weak Coyotes team.     Jonathan Quick FD - $8600 DK - $7700 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.56 DK - 4.39 Let's pick on another weak team with a goalie who was injured for most of the year, but since he has been back, he has shown flashes of brilliance. Quickie has lost his last three starts, but he allowed only two goals in each of those three games. Before that, the star American goalie earned a shutout against the Sabres. Tonight the Kings travel to Vancouver to play the Canucks and their awful 28th ranked offense. The...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/27/17 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL action at DFSR. We have a solid five-game Monday slate for you so let's not waste any more time and dive right into the picks. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Brian Elliott FD - $8600 DK - $8500 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 19.27 DK - 4.82 There are two goalies that stand out in a big way today and let's start with Elliot who has been red hot for awhile now (no pun intended.) Him and the Flames defeated his old team the St. Louis Blues last game as he allowed only two goals. He has now won 12 of his last 13 games while allowing only 25 goals and earning two shutouts during those 13 games. The veteran tender and the Flames welcome a weak Avalanche squad and their 30th ranked offense to town this evening and they are a massive -270 favorite to win this game. Elliot is an elite play in all formats today so roster him confidence.   Jake Allen FD - $8800 DK - $8300 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 19.8 DK - 4.95 Allen and the Blues are also a massive -270 favorite today as they host the Coyotes and their  27th ranked defense. Like Elliot, Allen started the season off slow but has come on very strong lately. He suffered a loss to the Flames last game, but before that, he won three in a row as he allowed only three goals while earning a shutout. In his last 10 games, he has only allowed 15 goals to go along with two shutouts. Allen is an elite play in all formats.     Also Consider: Cam Ward (GPP)     CENTERS Jack Eichel FD - $7800 DK - $7200 Opponent - FLA Proj Pts FD - 15.29 DK - 4.59 Wow, has this guy been good lately...
