The Montreal Canadiens are an absolute mess right now and this will be their third west-coast game in four nights, which is a very tough task for an east-coast team. The Canadiens have scored only 1.43 goals per game so far which is by far the worst in the entire league and the Ducks are a respectable 14th in the league with 2.83 goals allowed per game. Gibson has a save % of .923 and has allowed two goals or less in his last four games. He is an elite play in all formats this evening. Chad Johnson FD - $7600 DK - $7600 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.63 DK - 4.41 The Sabres aren't great and I understand that, but they are improving and this a great situation for them to get a win tonight as the Canucks are playing in back-to-back road games. Buffalo is currently -165 favorites according to Vegas and the Canucks are ranked 26th in the league with only 2.50 goals scored per game. Johson did give up five goals in an overtime loss to the Golden Knights in his last start on the road, so he's probably better served as a GPP option only, but this just too favorable of a spot to ignore Johnson this evening. He has yet to lose in regulation after four games while allowing only seven goals and with an impressive .943 save %. Tonight, the Montreal Canadiens come to town and they are playing in back-to-back road games after an awful 5-2 loss to San Jose last night. The Habs are ranked dead last in the league with only 1.50 goals scored per game and L.A. is playing some great hockey so far this season. Quick is an elite play in all formats and is easily my top goalie play of the day. CENTERS Auston Matthews FD - $8100 DK - $8200 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 18.11 DK - 5.2 In case you haven't noticed, this guy is the real deal. This is his team for many years to come and the city of Toronto may as well give him a key already because everyone loves him and with good reason. The second-year phenom already has five goals and three assists in six games to go along with 18 shots on goal. He also sees an ample amount of time on the powerplay and the penalty kill units in Toronto and the Leafs are ranked #1 in the league with 4.67 goals scored per game. Wow! On a tiny three-game slate like this one, he is very hard to fade, so make sure you fire him up in all formats...

This will be their third west-coast road game in four nights and they are ranked 23rd in the league on offense with a measly 2.20 goals scored per game. Gibson is my favorite goalie in all formats for this tiny three-game slate. Also Consider: Darcy Kuemper (LA) CENTERS Rickard Rakell FD - $6700 DK - $6600 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 10.83 DK - 3.1 With Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler injured, Rakell has had to step up and play a bigger role for his team and so far he has done a decent job. He has two goals and two assists in five games while averaging 4.2 shots on goal per game. He skates on the #1 line and the #1 PP unit for the Ducks and tonight's opponent, the Buffalo Sabres have allowed a brutal 4.20 goals per game which is 2nd worst in the league so far this season. GOALIE Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $9200 DK - $8000 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 17.9 DK - 4.47 The current Vezina trophy winner is off to a great start so far this season as he's allowed only one goal in two starts while stopping 66 of 67 shots. The Rangers were ranked 4th offensively last season with 3.09 goals scored per game, but they are ranked 17th in that category with 2.5 goals for per game to start the year. Honestly, I'm not sure fading goalie Bob is a good idea this evening. He is obviously dialed in at the moment and he is an elite play in every single format. Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8300 DK - $8100 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 14.32 DK - 3.58 This guy deserves a ton of credit. Las Vegas is not supposed to be 4-0 to start the season, so the so-called experts say. Fleury is 3-0 to start the season while allowing only four goals in the process. That is good for a .963 save % and a 1.32 GAA. The Red Wings are off to a 3-1 start, but that is mostly due to their stellar goaltending, as they're ranked a below average 17th in goals scored with 2.75 per game. I am not shying away from Bobrovsky in cash games, but for your GPP lineups, Fleury is a great play. CENTERS Rickard Rakell FD - $6500 DK - $6700 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 14.05 DK - 3.96 I like targeting a visiting team's second line center while playing on the road...

The veteran netminder has been lights out with a .971 save % and has allowed only one goal in each of his three starts. Tonight he faces a Minnesota Wild team that got the short end of the straw having to start the season on a three-game road trip and have yet to pick up a victory. Crawford looks extremely dialed in at the moment and making him my favorite goalie in cash game formats. Jimmy Howard FD - $7900 DK - $7400 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 14.48 DK - 3.62 We have our cash game goalie picked out. Now we need a lower owned GPP option who happens to be having a great start as well and he is facing a weak opponent in the Arizona Coyotes. The veteran Howard has stopped 77 of 80 shots en route to two victories in as many starts so far this season. He is certainly showing Detroit it was a good idea to protect him in the Las Vegas expansion draft earlier this year. This is his crease in Detroit again and I love his matchup this evening against an offensively punchless Coyotes squad who is averaging just over 2.3 goals per game to start the season.
