Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7500 DK - $7600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 42.01 DK - 43.88 Brogdon's price is just flat out wrong at this point. He played just 28 minutes in his first game back from injury, but in the 5 games since he's averaged 44.3 FanDuel points a game. That's just ridiculous production on this price point, and it doesn't hurt that the Spurs have allowed a top 10 total to opposing point guards this season. Ben Simmons FD - $7100 DK - $7800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 39.14 DK - 39.2 Speaking of elite point guards that are far too cheap, I present Mr. Ben Simmons. He seems to have overcome his rough patch with back to back 40+ FanDuel point performances, and the Warriors are woefully unequipped to deal with Philly's size. They'll have their hands full with Embiid and (hopefully) Harris, and Simmons should be able to fill it up here. Also considered: Coby White. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $8500 DK - $9200 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 46.43 DK - 47.67 While Beal is worth a little bit less than it looked like he'd be earlier this season, this FanDuel price is pretty much in joke territory. He's averaged better than 5x points per dollar on these prices in his last four games, and gets a plus match-up with the Thunder here. The Thunder are a good match-up for opposing shooting guards in any circumstance, but Shai's absence should make this spot even better. Beal's a great play in any format. Joe Ingles FD - $6300 DK - $6200 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 35.1 It's hard not to like Ingles in this one given that Mitchell is already ruled out. Against these same Lakers Ingles dropped 20 points and 14 assists, though this comes with the disclaimer that he was largely running the point in Conley's absence. Conley will be back for this one, but Ingles should still get a lot more action with Mitchell shelved. Ingles won't have the upside he showed last game, but the...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Monday 4/19/21

If you're looking for electric upside, you don't have to look a lot further than Joe Musgrove. The Padres' burgeoning ace has built upon 2020's break out with a bang, compiling a 1.93 xFIP (and a no-hitter!) through three starts in this young season. Musgrove had big prospect pedigree before being tainted by the Pirates, and appears ready to lean into being an ace in his first season in San Diego. Milwaukee is a fantastic match-up, with the 2nd worst wOBA in the Majors and the 6th highest K rate. Musgrove is a little pricey but should be worth it here. Dustin May FD - P 9300 DK - SP 9700 Opponent - SEA (Justus Sheffield) Park - SEA FD - 33.94 DK - 18.22 Speaking of young pitchers realizing their prospect pedigree, I present to you Dustin May. He hasn't been super-efficient thus far this season, but he's combining his characteristically great ground-ball rate with the best strikeout numbers of his career. It's just 10 innings, but the signs have been there in the past, and he doesn't need to be this good in order to justify these prices. The Dodgers are the biggest favorites on the day against a Seattle team with a top 10 strikeout rate, and on a slate like today that might be enough for cash games. Also considered: Kevin Gausman, if you need some savings. Catcher/First Base Brandon Belt FD - 1B 2300 DK - 1B 3400 Opponent - PHI (Chase Anderson) Park - PHI FD - 9.92 DK - 7.42 People were probably overly enthusiastic about last year's performance from Belt, and they are probably overly pessimistic based on this year's slow start. The truth probably lies somewhere between, with Belt projecting out as a high .700s OPS guy. He's been .080 OPS points better against righties for his career, and Anderson has to be considered below average at this point in his career. It's a reasonable hitters' park as well, and Belt is just so cheap that he helps you pay up for pricier options elsewhere. Carlos Santana FD - 1B 2600 DK -...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday 4/15/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday 4/15/21 Good day! Today's slate of NBA DFS games is pretty unusual. We have just 4 games going, and almost all of those games has some serious injury implications. Instead of going position by position, let's break down what you should keep an eye out for in each game. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Milwaukee at Atlanta On the Bucks' side of things, everything comes down to the status of Giannis. If he plays, you can still consider anyone in the Bucks' starting line-up in such a favorable match-up. If he sits, guys like Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, and Jrue Holiday become must-plays against a Hawks team that ranks in the bottom 10 of defensive efficiency this season. The Hawks present their own balls of wax. Trae Young is currently listed as questionable, and Brandon Goodwin has filled in admirably in his absence over the last two games. If Young sits, Goodwin will have 100% ownership, and there will be a trickle down effect to the rest of the team as well. Danilo Gallinari is also questionable, and John Collins has already been ruled out. If Gallo misses the Hawks will lean even harder on Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela, both of who will be great plays here. Solomon Hill started and played 30 forgettable minutes, and I probably wouldn't be interested in rolling him here unless I had to to make the money work on other good plays. All the Hawks plays get riskier if Giannis plays, since the blowout would firmly be in play, particularly if Trae and Gallo were to miss. Golden State at Cleveland The big question marks in this contest come on the Cleveland side, with both Collin Sexton and Darius Garland battling injuries. Garland wound up playing Wednesday night, but there's no guarantee that that means he'll suit up for the second half of the back to back here. Likewise, Sexton missing Wednesday doesn't mean he'll miss here. You'll also have to keep an eye on the Cavs' bigs, with Nance and Allen both returning from injury on Wednesday as well. As such, there isn't a whole lot we can say this early. Whoever is left standing could be a solid...

Point Guard Derrick White FD - $6300 DK - $6500 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 35.13 DK - 35.45 White isn't the type of play that jumps off the page at first, but he probably should be. First of all, he's quietly been consolidating more shots in the San Antonio offense, averaging 16.67 shots per game over his last 6 games (as opposed to his season averages of 12.4). That's a huge increase, and yet the price is still closer to where it was when he didn't have such a prominent role. Then there's the match-up, with the Magic having allowed the very most fantasy points to opposing point guards so far this season. Ben Simmons FD - $7200 DK - $8200 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 38.27 DK - 38.55 I'm writing up Simmons with less conviction then I though I would be when I saw the $7,200 price tag, mostly due to his recent game log. But as I went game by game, I could come up with a good reason he wasn't paying these paltry prices. Mostly, it was because Philly hasn't been in that many close games recently. We know that Simmons will run a 35 minute rotation when duty calls, and in this game, duty is a callin' in the form of Luka Doncic. If you see this game staying close, you almost have to envision Simmons matching Luka's rotations, in which case paying a $7,200 price tag should be trivial. Also considered: Luka, even if he his smashing into the Ben Simmons defensive meat grinder. Keep an eye on the Nets starting lineup. With Kyrie and Harden ruled out, Chris Chiozza could party like it's 2020. Shooting Guard Joe Ingles FD - $5500 DK - $5700 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 32.28 DK - 34.37 Donovan Mitchell FD - $9000 DK - $9200 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 45.54 DK - 47.82 Shooting guard stops and starts with the Utah Jazz for me, tonight. With Conley ruled out and Clarkson doubtful, Ingles and Mitchell will undoubtedly be running the show against a Wizards team that plays the...

Pitchers Tyler Glasnow FD - P 10700 DK - SP 10400 Opponent - TEX (Dane Dunning) Park - TB FD - 43.93 DK - 24.66 Tyler Glasnow has been on a slow-speed breakout for the last couple of years, blending an off-the-charts K rate with mediocre control and poor health. Well, he's healthy so far this season, and he's also walking just 1.5 batters per nine innings. The Rays are the biggest favorite on the slate against the Texas Rangers, who have struck out in a whopping 28.8% of their plate appearances this season. Glasnow blends upside and floor, here, and I like him in any format. Zack Greinke FD - P 9800 DK - SP 10200 Opponent - DET (Casey Mize) Park - HOU FD - 36.74 DK - 19.13 Two weeks into the season is often the best time get value on guys not quite performing up to their historical levels, and while Greinke's ERA looks pretty good, the strikeouts have to be somewhat concerning. After all, he's a 37-year-old starter who hasn't had a big heater in years, so what's going on? Well, Greinke's fastball is actually a hair faster than it was last year, so I'm not inclined to panic just yet. His control is as good as ever, and the line-up behind him means the Astros are huge favorites here. The hapless Tigers have a .276 wOBA this season (including a .266 OBP!), and I like Greinke as a relatively cheap ace-level pitcher here. Freddy Peralta FD - P 7600 DK - SP 7700 Opponent - CHC (Adbert Alzolay) Park - MIL FD - 34.13 DK - 18.5 Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm wondering if Peralta is cheaper than he'll be at any point in the season going forward. We know the Brewers were planning on stretching him out this year, and in his last start he threw 91 pitches over 5 innings en route to 8 Ks and 0 ER against these same Cubs. While Chicago has been a scary match-up in the past, their .270 wOBA so far is absolutely dismal. While that should head back in the right direction at some point, they aren't the scary line-up of the past, and Peralta makes for an interesting upside play here. Catcher/First Base Keston Hiura FD - 1B 2500 DK - 1B 4300 Opponent - CHC (Adbert Alzolay) Park - MIL FD - 10.87 DK -...
