Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 8600 DK 7300 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 26.93 DK - 27.19 Lamar Jackson’s 637 rushing yards are the 11-most in the league, which would be a nice calling card for some of the running backs out there. But then you get the part where he actually is able to throw the ball as well and it’s easy to see why this guy ranks second overall in DraftKings points per game this season. He’s fresh off a dismantling of the vaunted Patriots’ defense in which he led the Ravens to 37 points by rushing for 61 yards and two touchdowns and throwing for 163 yards (74% completion %) and another TD. He enters Week 10 as, far and away, the best QB option on the main slate. He’ll face a Cincinnati team ranked second to last in DVOA as a -10 road favorite. The biggest concern on Lamar here is the blowout if the Ravens get rolling downhill and he’s not asked to go above and beyond. It’s an expensive price considering that risk, but he’s also head and shoulders the best play at the position. Kyler Murray FD 7700 DK 6500 Opponent TBProj Points FD - 19.74 DK - 20.58 Murray is coming off some rough weeks having to face the 2nd and 6th ranked DVOA defenses in the 49ers and Saints. That led to some underwhelming fantasy performances for the rookie. Additionally, the game against the Giants had Chase Edmonds breaking off three, 20+ yard touchdown runs and Murray wasn’t asked to do much. This is a bounce-back spot against the Bucs who rank in the bottom third against the pass and are fresh off allowing a 5 TD passing game from Russell Wilson. I much prefer Jackson, but think Murray has a high floor in this game considering the Bucs have one of the worst pass defenses around. Given the savings you get and some nice expensive options at other positions, this is an ok way to take things if not playing Lamar.  Other thoughts Ok, for starters, Lamar Jackson is far and away the best play at quarterback this week. The dip down from his safety to Murray is significant. There’s basically an elite QB tier of Jackson, Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson with everyone else...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10000 DK - $9200 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 53.77 DK - 55.78 I doubted Luka a little bit coming into this season, but I have to say that I'm with LeBron on this one - Luka is a bad mfer. He became the youngest player to ever go 30/10/15 in a game, and it could have been even more if he hadn't been sent to the locker room to get stitches. He's loosely considered questionable in this one, but all signs are that he should be good to go. Luka is the rare case of a guy whose skills could truly be improving this year, which makes sense given how young he is. His bulk stats (points, rebounds, and assists) are all heading in the right direction, and his field goal percentage is going up as well. The price will almost surely be going up in the near future, particularly after this game against the Cavs and their league worst defensive efficiency. Buy now while the price is right. Frank Ntilikina FD - $3800 DK - $3100 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 26.14 DK - 26.26 Of all the players I thought would improve during the world cup this summer, Frank the Tank was pretty low on the list. And alas, here we are. After playing devilish defense all summer long, the Knicks have entrusted him with a starting gig. And while he won't be an on-ball point guard with Rookie of the Year favorite RJ Barrett looming, he still does plenty across the board to justify a near minimum price at 35+ minutes a game. While you can't count on him for 3 steals a game, his defense stats should help him pay value on a night in, night out basis - and going up against a...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 11/1/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 11/1/19 After a tiny three game main slate on Thursday, the heat cranks back up for Friday! With a seven game slate and plenty of high total games, there should be plenty of options to make some high quality cash game lineups. Let's get to it.   Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Point Guard Kemba Walker FD - $8700 DK - $8400Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 44.92 DK - 46.08 After a slow start as a Celtic, Kemba has come on strong in his last two, averaging a 32/6/5 in spite of losing a considerable mount of his minutes due to a blowout of the Knicks. Well, Walker is running it back against the Knicks here, and the Celtics are 10.5 point favorites at home. The blowout is obviously a concern here, but he looked so dominant in his 30 minutes against their matador back-court that I'm less concerned than I might normally be. The Knicks have unsurprisingly been one of the league's worst defensive teams this season, and Kemba seems like a rock solid cash game inclusion on these prices. Luka Doncic FD - $9800 DK - $9700Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 52.27 DK - 54.52 Luka was barreling his way to a first three games of the season MVP award before a serious disappearing act against the Nuggets, but I think we learned more in the first three games of the season than we did in his last contest. The Nuggets defend well from every position, and while the Lakers have a great defensive efficiency to start the season, I'm not buying them keeping up that pace all season. It's important to remember that we've only played four games of the season so far, and that strength of schedule is a big factor for team based stats. They've faced lousy Grizzlies and Hornets offenses, a Jazz team that's the second lowest scoring team in the West so far, and then they got handled by the Clippers. The 216.5 total here is basically average for the slate, and I'm not scared off the Mavs here. Also considered: Malcolm Brogdon and Russell Westbrook in good match-ups.     Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11200...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 9 – 11/3/19

Posted by on Oct 29, 2019 in featured, News, Weekly Fantasy Football Picks | 0 comments

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 9 - 11/3/19 Week 9 is upon us! DFSR split last week on FanDuel and DraftKings, moving our season long record for main slate cash games to a respectable 10-4-1. With a couple of chalk plays going away heading into week 9, can we still find the same exploitable strategies? I say yes. Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Russell Wilson FD 8600 DK 7100 Opponent TB Proj Points FD - 22.28 DK - 22.88 Look, Wilson is having an MVP-caliber season so recommending him in cash games again isn’t going out on any kind of metaphoric limb. But the obviousness of the play doesn’t preclude us from making it. He’s second overall in DraftKings QB scoring this season and has thrown 17 touchdowns to only one interception. His 8.51 yards per attempts are the fourth-most among quarterbacks who’ve attempted more than 200 passes this season while also being serviceable on the ground. He has 182 rushing yards with three TDs, tied for second-most in the league. Tampa Bay has something of a funnel defense, ranking first against the run, but 25th against the pass. This could lend itself to more passing attempts from Wilson. The overall volume for Wilson is the only thing “holding him back” seeing as how he ranks 13th in passing attempts. It’s a testament to how freaking efficient this dude is when he actually throws the ball. I suspect we see high ownership on Wilson on both sites. Aaron Rodgers FD 8100 DK 6900 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 20.32 DK - 21.04 After some lower output weeks to start the season, Rodgers has turned the clock back over the last three games. He’s averaged 339 passing yards per game in that stretch with a 10:1 TD:INT rate and has even scrambled for 45 yards on the ground. The Chargers are a bottom-third DVOA defense on the season and rank 28th against the pass. What’s even more about Rodgers’ recent run is that he’s doing it without his best wide receiver in Davante Adams. The latter is expected to return for Week 9 after missing the last four weeks. This, theoretically, should give the passing game an added boost and though I prefer Wilson in a similar price range Rodgers makes for an excellent cash game play. The Cheaper Options I great prefer Wilson, and to...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 10/27/19

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10100 DK - $9500 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 48.88 DK - 51.02 Point guard is sort of a mess on this 4 game main slate, which makes Luka look like a straight-forward pay-up option. He's averaging 52.5 fantasy points a game this season, and while you could argue that he's had great match-ups in New Orleans and Washington, all you can really do is beat the team that's in front of you. He actually could present size issues for the Portland wings, and when you look at the rest of the position "high floor" options just don't really exist. I'll be pretty unhappy if my final lineups don't have Luka involved. Terry Rozier FD - $6500 DK - $6400 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 31.16 DK - 31.84 Did I mention that point guard is thin? Because it's really heckin' thin. I'm not a huge believer in Rozier necessarily, but I was actually encouraged by his game two performance against the Timberwolves. While foul trouble limited him to just 18 minutes, he still managed a double-double, and given how thin Charlotte is I just can't figure out what they will do if they don't at least try to lean on their "big ticket" off season acquisition. Given that I really don't want to pay up for Kyrie against Memphis or Lillard against Dallas, I'm not really seeing the other attractive options here.   Shooting Guard Tyler Herro FD - $5300 DK - $5600 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 27.66 DK - 28.17 For as good as Herro looked in his first game against Memphis, he looked a lot more like a rookie against Milwaukee. Still, Herro seems locked into a 32-33 minute rotation until Butler gets back, and as of now, Butler is still slated to miss this one. The Miami rookie should have a great match-up against the defensive duo of Teague and Napier, and if he's really going to keep taking 15 shots a game it's hard to imagine him not being a $5,300 player in a plus match-up. Caris Levert FD - $6400 DK...
