Point Guard Ish Smith FD - $4600 DK - $5000 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 28.79 DK - 28.98 The pricing here is just wrong as long as Thomas reminds sidelined. In his two games as a starter Ish has turned in two remarkably similar performances, averaging 17 points and 8 assists with a couple rebounds thrown in for good measure. It's a terrible match-up against the Clippers, and a blowout seems imminent, but the Wizards just flat out lack ball handlers right now, and I'm penciling Smith in for 5x points per dollar at the very worst. Jeff Teague FD - $5900 DK - $6500 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 32.51 DK - 32.99 Teague went off in Wiggins' absence against the Thunder, dropping 53.5 fantasy points in the Wolves' overtime loss to the Thunder. This is a play that's entirely dependent upon Wiggins' status. If he misses, Teague is a phenomenal play and almost a cash game must. If Wiggins returns, you can probably ignore him. Here's to hopping Wiggins takes an extra day on that sprained thumb and we can get another great crack at Teague as a DFS cash game option. Kendrick Nunn FD - $5100 DK - $5300 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 27.41 DK - 28.15 With Winslow likely missing this one again, Nunn's floor should remind nice and steady. While Butler is assuming the lion's share of the point guard duties, Nunn is still a very necessary part of that offense as a secondary ball handler. Chicago is a solid match-up, ranking as the 12th best match-up for opposing back-courts, but what I love about Nunn here is that Butler almost has to draw the majority of the Bulls' defensive ire. I think Nunn breaks free for a 30+ fantasy point performance here. Also considered: i like what I'm seeing from Chris Paul right now.     Shooting Guard Jimmy Butler FD - $9300 DK - $8800 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 45.97 DK - 44.91 With Winslow out against the Wizards, Butler marched out there and dropped a triple double with 3 defensive stats...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 12/6/19

Point Guard Ish Smith FD - $4300 DK - $3600 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 27.11 DK - 27.22 Ish was huge chalk on Thursday night, as he filled in for the injured Isaiah Thomas. With Thomas nursing this calf strain I'd imagine they are just giving him a couple of nights off, and if they do, this is far too cheap for a guy who is truly running the point for 30+ minutes near minimum prices. It's a simple price and opportunity mismatch, and he's a must play everywhere if Thomas sits again. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $8500 DK - $8200 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.61 DK - 43.97 Dinsanity rages on, as Dinwiddie has essentially stepped into the role that Kyrie vacated. He's averaged 20+ shots and 22 points from the field in the last three games, and some tough shooting luck from his teammate is all that's kept him away from being up near double digit assists as well. Charlotte is stone cold terrible, ranking fourth worst in the league in defensive efficiency with no back-court defense to speak of whatsoever. The Nets are only 2.5 point favorites here, so a tight game should yield lots of minutes and possessions for Dinwiddie to do his thing. Also considered: Terry Rozier and Jamal Murray as interesting midrange options. Patty Mills is an interesting big tournament option off the bench for the Spurs.   Shooting Guard Jimmy Butler FD - $9100 DK - $8100 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 44.64 DK - 43.46 Butler has been a DFS beast in his last two games, topping 37 minutes and 52 fantasy points in each of them, a feat that's particularly noteworthy because he still topped both of those figures in a game that the Heat lost by 21 to the Celtics. Tonight he'll grab a far cushier match-up with the Wizards, who as of this very moment are the literal perfect match-up, playing the league's fastest pace and the worst defensive efficiency. What's more, the Wiz have been good enough on offense that they are actually hanging with teams, so a blowout shouldn't...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 12/5/19

Point Guard Lonzo Ball FD - $5800 DK - $5300 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 31.75 DK - 32.84 After a long stretch of injuries it seems as though Ball is finally back playing his 32 minute rotations, which means he should just be too cheap here. During the 5 game stretch that he played 31-35 minute rotations earlier this season Ball averaged 35.3 fantasy points a game, and only his erratic rotations since have driven his price downward. Phoenix isn't the all-world match-up that they have been in the past, but they still play a top 11 pace with a defensive efficiency in the bottom half of the league. Ball seems like a solid value as a result. Isaiah Thomas FD - $5200 DK - $5200 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 25.72 DK - 27.89 I won't pretend like this play is risk free, but Thomas played 34 excellent minutes against the Magic his last time out, and it sure looks like he will get plenty of usage with all of the injury woes in Washington right now. The Wiz are really short on creators right now, and the 14 shots and 7 assists that Thomas managed against the Magic could be the norm going forward. If it is, he's about 20% too cheap on these prices, and I'm a buyer on a small slate. There are a lot of reasonable point guard options tonight, like Ricky Rubio, Ben Simmons, and even Russell Westbrook. I just think you'll want to pay up at other positions instead.     Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $12200 DK - $12000 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 62.22 DK - 65.28 It's a terrible match-up for Harden, but that's basically just giving us a discount on his true price right now. You follow basketball, so you're probably aware that Harden poured in 110 points from the field in his last two games. Sure, there was a double overtime game in there, but I mean, this sort of scoring is legitimately nuts. On a short slate I think he is still the premier payoff option even in a...

START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 9000 DK 7400 Opponent BUF Proj Points FD - 24.82 DK - 24.69 There’s no safer fantasy commodity than Lamar Jackson at this point. He’s averaging the most FanDuel points per game, is second on DraftKings and his coefficient of variation (Standard Deviation/Average points) is easily the lowest among the top fantasy performances. Depending on how you look at it, he’s twice as *safe* as the next closest player this season. It’s really pretty ridiculous. Outside of the 11 point fantasy day against the Steelers he’s scored 20+ fantasy points every week this season and is in line for another good game even against a tougher Bills’ defense on the road in Buffalo. In terms of locking up a good floor, Jackson provides more safety than any other player in the game and there’s a lot to be said for that in cash games. Jameis Winston FD 7700 DK 6400 Opponent IND Proj Points FD - 20.74 DK - 21.87 Winston had a very un-Jameis-y game in Week 13 against the Jaguars. Sure, he completed 64% of his passes, but failed to go over 300 yards for the first time in seven weeks. He didn’t throw any touchdowns, but almost more amazingly he didn’t throw an interception either (though there were a few close calls). His 22:20 TD:INT rate is always going to be a concern, but he remains a volume thrower and I do like the floor in this match-up against the Colts. Indy’s been an average defense on the season, slightly better against the pass, but the Bucs come in with the fourth-highest implied point total of the Week 14 main slate. I much prefer Lamar obviously, but the savings you get on Winston might be worth it this week if some of the other positional decisions are close. Gardner Minshew FD 6600 DK 5400 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 16.97 DK - 17.43 Minshew will be back as the Jaguars’ signal-caller in Week 14 after Nick Foles looked every bit a piece of terrible and was subsequently benched in Week 13. Minshew came in off the bench against the Bucs and honestly didn’t look much better. But if we go back to the beginning of November, there’s a lot to like on the stat line. In five of...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 12/1/19 We have a slight deviation on format for this article, since main slate contains just 3 games, and each of those has a potentially wild game script cooking. With potential blowouts in Orlando and LA, and two brutal defenses squaring off in Toronto, this could be one of the more volatile slates in recent memory. The earlier slates honestly look better to me today. If you want access to the projections and lineups for those slates, feel free to grab a free trial by clicking the link below.  Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Golden State Warriors at the Orlando Magic The Magic are favored by 8.5 in a game with a 206.5 total. Well, the 7-11 Magic are 8.5 point favorites against the best dynasty of the 2010s, or at least what is left of them. With Russell ruled out and Draymond Green averaging 21 minutes in his last two games it's hard to imagine a world where the current construction of the Warriors aren't the worst team in the league. That being said, the Magic aren't exactly a dynasty in the making in their own right, and on a three game slate we can't play around the blowout risk too much here. The Orlando Magic Evan Fournier FD - $6300 DK - $6400Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 31.47 DK - 32.72 Markelle Fultz FD - $5600 DK - $5300Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 28.2 DK - 27.81 Aaron Gordon FD - $6100 DK - $6000Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 30.21 DK - 30.64 These are your playable Magic, as far as our system is concerned. Gordon returned and played 31 minutes against Toronto, paying value on these prices. Fournier has been great since assuming more of the offensive burden when Vuc and Gordon were sidelined, and continued that excellence against the Raptors. Fultz is a solid value on these prices on a nightly basis. And, importantly, the Warriors are by far the worst defensive team on this slate whether Draymond plays or not. If this game stays remotely close, it will be tough for the Magic guys to not return value. If you're in a pickle, our system thinks Terrence Ross might...
