Point Guard Ricky Rubio FD - $6300 DK - $7200 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 31.63 DK - 32.15 Ja Morant FD - $7500 DK - $7300 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 36.98 DK - 38.21 I list Rubio and Morant together here because I like them differently depending on what site you're playing. Rubio is the cheaper option on FanDuel, of course, and Morant is probably just a better DFS player overall, so you'll take him at a similar price on DraftKings. Both looked excellent on a points per dollar basis in their first game back from the league being suspended, with Morant finding almost 45 fantasy points after the Portland game went to overtime. But both guys are just flat out value plays. Rubio averaged 34 fantasy points this season, and stands to get more run than usual in this 8 game sprint. Morant has hopped right back into his full rotation, playing an excellent 35 minutes in regulation en route to an eventual double double. Both guys have high floors, but I'll be price shopping depending on the site. De'Aaron Fox FD - $7700 DK - $7900 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 44.07 DK - 44.26 Orlando was a tough DFS match-up this season, playing a bottom 5 pace with a top 10 defensive efficiency this season, so we're not running Fox for the match-up here. It's just a straight up value play. In the San Antonio game Fox looked like he had been spending the last 4 months dreaming of scoring 100 points in an NBA game, as he lofted a career high 33 shots. That's 9 more shots than he's ever taken into a single game. I'll assume there will be some regression there, but if he is taking on any kind of expanded role he'll be a value until the sites correct for it. Also considered: Lillard and Westbrook as big money options. Westbrook has a fast paced game with the Bucks, and Lillard is still shouldering plenty of the Trail Blazers' offense in spite of them getting healthier. Shooting Guard Caris Levert FD - $7800 DK - $7800...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 8/1/20

The Denver Nuggets have already ruled out Gary Harris and Will Barton, and Jamal Murray is currently listed as questionable. You'll want to monitor this situation closely since a ton of value will inevitably open up. Some of those options might not be too exciting, like Torrey Craig, but Denver is looking pretty unpredictable for their first game in the bubble. Point Guard Mike Conley FD - $5700 DK - $5400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 31.63 DK - 33.05 After a super weird beginning to the season, Conley was just finding his stride before the season was suspended. Since February Conley has been essentially automatic for 30+ fantasy points, exceeding that total in 9 out of he 12 games where he played 30+ minutes. In his first game back against the Pelicans he scored 31.2 fantasy points in 33 minutes, and that's indicative of his performance going forward he's 10% too cheap on FanDuel and arguably more than that on DraftKings. I love him as a cash game staple even against a touch OKC defense. Reggie Jackson FD - $4100 DK - $4100 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 27.57 DK - 29.4 Unless we get word that Beverley is scheduled for a huge bump in minutes, Jackson looks criminally cheap in one of the best possible bubble match-ups in New Orleans. He played 34 minutes against the Lakers, and while he didn't go crazy, you'd have to think that the 19.2 FanDuel points he grabbed against the Lakers is something like his floor. He's not going to be the centerpiece of the offense by any means, and there is risk of Beverley assuming a bigger role at some point soon, but I think we get one more good value game out of him before both his price rises and Beverley returns to his full form. Shake Milton has won the starting role, and is way too cheap on FanDuel. On DraftKings his new role is already priced in. He's probably a safer play on FD than Reggie Jackson though. Also considered: Aaron Holiday, if Victor Oladipo winds up missing...

Point Guard JA Morant FD - $6500 DK - $6900 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 37.94 DK - 39.37 It's an under-card marquee game on this slate, with Memphis clinging to the 8th seed in the West and the Trail Blazers being one of the two teams that's 3.5 games back of them. Memphis has eased Morant into a slightly longer rotation recently, and he's been supplying a steady diet of 5x+ points per dollar performances over the last couple of weeks. He's coming off a game against Orlando where he played a career high 35:20, and it's a welcome sign that he did well against an Orlando team that's been a brutal DFS match-up based on their slow pace. Portland represents a solid spot here, and I'm happy to deploy Morant in any format. Coby White FD - $6200 DK - $6900 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 34.65 DK - 36.49 White forced the Bulls hand after putting up huge night after huge night off the bench, and now that he's starting, it sure looks like he's just under-priced relative to his current opportunity. He's playing 37 minute rotations in close games, and really hasn't given up a whole lot of usage in spite of playing alongside the starters more often. Recent returns have him looking like a $7k player (closer to his DraftKings price, actually), so getting this discount on FanDuel more than makes up for the slow match-up with the Magic. Keep an eye on the crazy Bucks. If Giannis misses Eric Bledsoe should be the highest owned PG, assuming he plays. Shooting Guard Caris Levert FD - $7100 DK - $7500 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 41.56 DK - 42.55 While there is some outstanding injury news surrounding this game, the one thing that looks pretty safe right now in Nets land is Caris Levert. Levert has been totally unleashed at this point, leading the team in both minutes and usage, and leading the under-manned Nets to some impressive wins in the process. If he's really going to be a 35-38 minute a game guy that is also the primary ball...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 3/8/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/8/20 There are a pile of NBA games today, and while they are spread out across the day we'll focus on a still robust 6 game Sunday main slate of NBA DFS action on FanDuel and DraftKings. Let's have a look at where we can find some value! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Collin Sexton FD - $7000 DK - $7100 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 36.48 DK - 37.92 The price has been rising on Sexton, but does it equal his current production? That remains to be seen. As of this writing he's on back to back 50+ fantasy point games (this is written before the Denver game has concluded), and to be honest this level of production might just be sustainable. And on these prices? He could be 80% as good and still be a great value. The Spurs are still a sneaky great match-up, allowing the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season. While I suppose there is some risk of a blowout here, Sexton's 40+ minute rotations should give him plenty of opportunity to hit value here. Aaron Holiday FD - $4000 DK - $4300 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 28.42 DK - 29.24 Speaking of value, Holiday's value just got cemented with the news that Malcolm Brogdon is week to week with a torn left quad. Holiday is playing a 33-35 minute rotation with Brogdon sidelined, and while there might be usage questions if some of the other pieces are healthy (Warren in particular) our model still sees Holiday as roughly a $5,000 player in league average match-ups. Dallas is something slightly worse than that, but the price is attractive enough that it looks to make up the difference. Jerome Robinson is an interesting punt if you trust last game's minutes. Shooting Guard Norman Powell FD - $5900 DK - $6600 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 31.97 DK - 32.34 How much is too much for Norman Powell? If the last four games are to believe, the answer is: not this much. Powell has been nothing short of brilliant in his four games taking over for Fred VanVleet, and...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday 3/5/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday 3/5/20 After a big nine game slate on Wednesday, things have calmed down with a little four gamer for Thursday. While Wednesday's slate was categorized by an over-abundance of cheap value on Boston and Cleveland, Thursday is sort of the opposite. While the plays might not be as obvious, there still should be plenty of ways to get an edge, so let's take a look. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $7300 DK - $8600 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 42.67 DK - 44.14 The question of the night, as it has been ever since Fred VanVleet and Serge Ibaka have been sidelined, is whether the Raptors will still be shorthanded. If they are you can expect to see nearly unanimous ownership on Lowry and the other pieces in what is by far the best match-up on the slate in Golden State. On FanDuel Lowry's price is so negligent that you'll play him without a second thought regardless of the status of the other guys. You can't convince me that whoever maintains FD's pricing algorithm isn't on vacation right now. Shake Milton FD - $5400 DK - $6500 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 31.32 DK - 32.34 With Simmons and Embiid out indefinitely and Josh Richardson still in the concussion protocol, there are still plenty of minutes and shots to go around in Philadelphia. While some of the other pieces are getting expensive, there is some chance that Milton is just a flat out bargain right now. Yes, he was less than spectacular against the Lakers, but try not to forget that he was absolutely stunning in a similarly bad match-up in the game prior against the Clips. We may have been spoiled by him topping 50 fantasy points in that one, but I think the prior games of 30+ fantasy points are pretty likely here. On a short slate, I'll happily jam him in there against the second worst defense on the slate in Sacramento. Shooting Guard Norman Powell FD - $5500 DK - $6600 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 34.56 DK - 34.93 Powell's viability is totally dependent on Fred VanVleet's status. If FVV...
