Quarterbacks Kyler Murray FD 8400 DK 6800 Opponent DET Proj Points FD - 24 DK - 24.79 It’s an embarrassment of riches at quarterback this week with a ton of upper-tier QBs in great spots. And we aren’t going to worry too much about having to pay a premium on the position. There’s just so much value at running back that we’ll be able to spend up at quarterback and wide receiver specifically. Let’s start with Murray who we recommended in cash games for last week. He was as good as promised with 286 yards and a touchdown through the air and another 67 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Through two weeks he leads all quarterbacks in rushing yards and is actually ninth overall in the NFL on the ground. He’s improved his accuracy, completing 67% of his passes and one has to assume the passing touchdowns tick up as the season goes on. The Lions have been one of the worst defenses in the league through two weeks and Murray is in another smash spot. Cam Newton FD 7700 DK 6700 Opponent LV Proj Points FD - 23.23 DK - 24.02 Through two weeks, Cam Newton is sixth overall in DraftKings scoring with 32.14 points per game. It’s been a complete effort on his part, essentially contributing to every part of the Patriots’ offense. He is second overall in quarterback rushing yards (behind Murray) with 122 yards on the ground and his four rushing touchdowns lead the league. He’s also been ultra-efficient through the air with a 71% completion percentage and ranks sixth in yards per attempt. The Giants’ defense hasn’t been terrible to start the season, but they are going to have trouble keeping the ball out of opponents’ hands with Saquon Barkley now lost for the year. The Pats have the third-highest implied point total on the slate (behind Arizona and Dallas) and...

Running Backs James Conner FD 6900 DK 6800 Opponent DEN Proj Points FD - 12.73 DK - 14 Much to our chagrin, Conner has practiced in full this week, which takes Benny Snell Jr. out of lineup consideration, unfortunately. Miles Sanders FD 6800 DK 6000 Opponent LAR Proj Points FD - 12.84 DK - 14.22 Like Conner, Sanders has been practicing in full, and claims that he is 100% going into this week's match-up with the Rams. He also claimed that he could have played week 1, but wanted to be extra careful. This match-up with the Rams is nothing to write home about, but he's cheap enough that you have to consider him for big tournaments. Marlon Mack FD 5900 DK 5000 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Mack's season is over before it started, leaving the Colts' running back touches to Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. Unfortunately, it's looking like a good old fashioned time share, with the two evening splitting touches in week one, even though Hines saw more snaps. Still, both are very cheap, and Rivers throws to RBs as much as anyone. I can see an argument for running these guys in big tournaments for sure, and possibly even in PPR formats. Le'Veon Bell FD 6100 DK 5200 Opponent SF Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Like Mack, Bell is out for the season. Like Mack, he leaves behind an apparent timeshare to Frank Gore and Josh Adams. There is no indication where these carries are going, but in a week against the Niners where you wouldn't play any Jets RBs anyway we should get a clearer picture of what they are going to do going forward. Phillip Lindsay FD 5000 DK 5100 Opponent PIT Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Lindsay has been ruled out of week 2's match-up agains the Steelers, and while Melvin Gordon was already the lead back,...
Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 2
Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 2 Week 1 is in the books, with offenses looking a lot crisper than defenses after a weird preseason. Will week 2 look similarly? Let's take a look at our position by position picks to find out. Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! Quarterbacks Kyler Murray FD 8000 DK 6100 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 21.97 DK - 22.72 The Cardinals pulled off one of the upsets of Week 1 with a win over the defending NFC champs, the San Francisco 49ers. And Murray was every bit as good as what the Cardinals expected when they drafted him number one overall. He completed 26-40 passes for 230 yards while tacking on another 91 yards on the ground on 13 attempts. That led all quarterbacks on the ground on Sunday and is coming off a season in which he was second overall in QB rushing yards. This is part of his game and it gives him such a high floor any given week. The Washington front seven is good and they’re coming off a surprise win of their own over the Eagles, but the Cards have the fourth-highest implied total on the main slate at 26.75. And, somehow, Murray is the 11th-most expensive quarterback on DraftKings. That’s simply too low. It’s closer on FanDuel where he’s 4th most expensive at $8K. But in terms of projection and overall tools, he’s just a fantastic cash game play for Week 2. Dak Prescott FD 8300 DK 6800 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 21.68 DK - 22.4Yup, I know it was a rough scene in Week 1 for Dak and the Cowboys with a loss to the Rams. Dak was mediocre if unimpressive considering the hype coming in around him and Dallas this season. But one week should not a complete overreaction make and I love where we are getting him going into Week 2. Atlanta is coming off an opening game in which Russell Wilson carved them up for an 89% completion percentage, 322 yards, four touchdowns while tacking on 29 rushing yards. It looked incredibly easy for Wilson against a team that ranked in the bottom third of passing defenses last season. Dak still has fantastic weapons in the WR corps and there’s reason to expect the Cowboys try to light it up early in their first home game after a down week. Matthew Stafford...
Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1
Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1 Football season is back! For now. Hopefully forever. With a lot of off season movement and no preseason this has to be the weirdest set of week 1 picks ever, so let's get to it. Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Russell Wilson FD 8400 DK 7000 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 21.63 DK - 21.86Wilson comes out of the gate playing in the game with the second-highest total (49) on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. He’ll get dome conditions against the Falcons who ranked 21st in defensive DVOA against the pass in 2019. Wilson threw for the sixth-most yards in the NFL last season despite attempting about 100 or more fewer passes than anyone else in the group above him. His passing yards and passing touchdowns per attempt were easily the best in the league. He loses Doug Baldwin, and the Seahawks still love to run the ball, but Wilson is just so damn efficient, throwing only five interceptions last season while ranking sixth in quarterback rushing yards. It will cost you, but he’s about as safe as it comes. Teddy Bridgewater FD 6800 DK 5900 Opponent LVProj Points FD - 18.59 DK - 19.25Bridgewater will take over behind center for the Panthers this season after Cam Newton and Kyle Allen have departed the team. Bridgewater walks into an advantageous situation with the best pass-catching running back in McCaffery along with a full complement of wide receiver weapons in DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel, and the newly-acquired Robby Anderson. Bridgewater started five games for the Saints last season in place of an injured Drew Brees and was effective, completing almost 70% of his passes with a 9:2 TD:INT rate. Sure, he has Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara there as well, but the accuracy has never been an issue even back to his time in Minnesota. This game has the fourth-highest total of the main slate with the Panthers 3-point home dogs to the Raiders. I love the price on Bridgewater here in what should be a close game. Carson Wentz FD 7700 DK 6300 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 19.59 DK - 20.02 Wentz has to be one of the most slept on quarterbacks in the NFL. No, he hasn't turned into a Russell Wilson/Lamar Jackson/Deshaun Watson type, but he's still awfully good. In his last five games last season...

Bucks (1) vs. Heat (-1) It's getting late early in the Heat/Bucks series, so much so that Vegas has flipped the line from Bucks -5 to Heat -1 in spite of the entire series being played on a neutral court. Does Vegas think the Bucks are just done here? Do the book makers think that Coach Bud will keep sleepwalking through the series with 35-36 minutes a game for Giannis and Middleton? Time will tell. Let's take a look at the DFS plays for this one. Will Coach Bud finally take off the training wheels for Giannis and Middleton? It's the million dollar question. You have to think that a sweep means the end of his term in Milwaukee, but he came right out and said that Giannis and Middleton are at their "max minutes." I nonetheless think that both of those guys are utterly playable. The must play from the Bucks has to be Brook Lopez (FD $5800 DK $5800), who played 38 minutes last game. He shot 17 times, and just looks indispensable to the Bucks right now. I also like Eric Bledsoe (FD $5200 DK $5600), who is playing 30 minutes but priced like he's playing 25. The Heat are looking overpriced as far as our projection system is concerned, with the entire world seemingly riding high on their incredible 7 game run in the playoffs so far. That being said, Jae Crowder (FD $5100 DK $5600) is still underpriced given that he is all of a sudden playing crunch time for the Heat, and Bam Adebayo (FD $8200 DK $8300) looks utterly unstoppable out there. I think there is even minutes upside as the Heat go to close this one out. Rockets (5.5) vs. Lakers (-5.5) Well that was somewhat surprising. The Rockets ran the Lakers starters off the floor in game one, and it's particularly scary for Lakers fans because they didn't even go off from three. They made 14 three pointers at a 35.9% clip, so there's significant room for growth in the area of the game where they are strongest. Honestly, things just looked hard for the Lakers offensively. They weren't getting the ball...
