Things are certainly a little less certain heading into week 10 than they were in week 9, but we still have a lot to talk about heading into the weekend. There are a number of domino-effect situations, for starters. Which of the Seattle running backs is going to wind up playing, and will we know in time to set our lineups? Will Big Ben play against Cincinnati? What about the running back situations in Cleveland, Houston, and Washington? The list of situations to wade through is nearly endless this week. The most intriguing position this week seems to be wide receiver, where there is a slew of guys in the $5,500-$6,800 range that have similar recent production. The guys go game by game, constantly updating their list of which of these guys they prefer most. All in all, it could be a wild week 10, and this isn't an NFL DFS podcast you're going to want to miss. Love the DFSR podcast? Go ahead and subscribe and listen wherever you get your daily podcasts. DFS NFL Podcast – Week 10 Cash Game Podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel

James and Doug are back to take an early look at cash games for a much more sane week 10 on FanDuel and DraftKings. Quarterback is once again boiling down to finding the best high priced options, with Kyler Murray leading the DFSR pack so far. The guys go in-depth discussing whether you can consider Aaron Rodgers against Jacksonville, which could be a popular play this week as well. Running back is one big question mark at this point. If injuries break in a certain way, we have some phenomenal plays in Mike Davis, Duke Johnson, and Chase Edmonds. If they don't, we'll be left with a smattering of un-sexy midrange options. This position is a wait-and-see until later in the week. We'd really like to pay up at wide receiver this week, with Davante Adams headlining the week in a great match-up with the Jags. After Adams, we have two solid mid-range options in Cooper Kupp and Keenan Allen. If we can't pay up, there are discussions to be had about Terry McLaurin, Robby Anderson, or Sterling Shepard. Tight end is actually fairly clear this week, with Evan Engram looking like the best play unless Kenny Golladay misses another week, in which case TJ Hockenson would be in consideration once again. Quarterbacks Kyler Murray FD 8800 DK 8000 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 25.92 DK - 26.73 Through eight games, Kyler Murray is currently the NFL leader in per game FanDuel scoring and is second for DraftKings behind only Russell Wilson. He leads all quarterbacks in rushing yards this season with 543 which ranks him eighth overall. He has 74 more yards than the next-closest signal-caller (Lamar Jackson) and his rushing touchdowns rank him third overall. It’s the gains on the ground which make up for him not throwing for a tremendous amount of yards or touchdowns through the air so far. But no matter. If he’s going to average 9.5 runs per game then the fantasy floor remains very high. This game projects to be a shootout with the 56 over/under the highest of any game on the week. The Bills’ defense ranks in the bottom third this season and they allow the 11th-most opponent plays per game. It’s hard to see Murray not paying this price. Aaron Rodgers FD 8400 DK 7900 Opponent JAXProj Points FD - 21.58 DK - 22.08 It’s going to be very enticing to run a full Packers game stack in cash on Sunday’s main slate. They are big (-14) home favorites against the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars and their bottom-feeding defense. Rodgers is coming just a bit cheaper than Murray on both sites. Unlike Murray, Rodgers has done his damage through the air this season with 24 touchdowns to just two interceptions. And over the last three games with his preferred target, DaVante Adams back and fully healthy Rodgers has thrown for 11 TDs, zero interceptions, and completed 71% of his passes. Jacksonville allows a whopping 8.4 yards per pass attempt this season, last in the league with no real hope of getting better. Grabbing as much Green Bay offense as you can this week is going to look like the right move. Daniel Jones FD 6700 DK 5200 Opponent PHIProj Points FD - 17.81 DK - 18.55 If looking to go a little cheaper on DraftKings, Danny Dimes could represent a way to cut some costs on this slate. Now let’s not kid ourselves, Jones isn’t all that good at throwing the ball. He is completing only 62% of his passes and has more interceptions (9) than touchdowns (8). But...
Injury analysis for week 9 of NFL DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings
Injury analysis for week 9 of NFL DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings Welcome to our weekly injury analysis article! It's an odd week with injuries, and a lot of decisions that might come down to the wire. Let's jump in. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Matthew Stafford FD 7500 DK 6600 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Stafford's situation is actually pretty complicated right now. He hasn't had a positive COVID test, but was around people who did. He can still theoretically be activated for Sunday's game, but we won't know until Sunday. His status is pretty important for potential cash game options TJ Hockenson and Marvin Jones Jr., both of whom become unplayable if Stafford doesn't suit up here. Gardner Minshew II FD 7000 DK 5800 Opponent HOU Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Minshew has already been ruled out of the Jags' game against the Texans, leaving an already bad offense without their starting quarterback. Perhaps this leaves extra touches for James Robinson? Robinson isn't priced for cash game consideration, though, and this move should really only impact your big tournament lineups (if that). Jake Luton is not playable. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 9500 DK 8500 Opponent KC Proj Points FD - 17 DK - 18.69 Well, this is news! Everyone's RB1 heading into the year looks to be returning for the Panthers' tilt against the Chiefs, which should at the very least excite season-long fantasy owners. For DFS purposes, though, I'm not sure how much we should read into this. The Panthers are 10.5 point underdogs, and Davis has been reasonable in McCaffrey's absence. Adding all these factors together has me wanting to leave C-Mac on the shelf, and I'll be closely monitoring how he is used here to see if I should consider him in future weeks. Ezekiel Elliott FD 8000 DK 6600 Opponent PIT Proj Points FD - 13.44 DK - 14.84 Zeke was limited in practice throughout the week, and there is interesting phrasing around his status, which suggests that his "workload" is a gametime decision. That's a red flag to the max if you're considering playing Zeke in this horrendous match-up, but also implies that you can't consider his back-ups either. Josh Jacobs FD 7700 DK 6300 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 16.36 DK - 18 There were questions around Jacobs' status throughout the week, but he returned from his illness on Friday and practiced. He's a reasonable big tournament play...

There is a lot more clarity heading into week 9 than there was in week 8, but that doesn't necessarily make it an easier one. There are a lot of close decisions at every position. How do we decide between Russell Wilson or Patrick Mahomes? What do we do if we lose the Texans game to Covid? At running back there is a glut of guys that look awfully similar. Do we lean into David Johnson, or do we try and get greedy with a play like Antonio Gibson or David Montgomery? Or can we move in the other direction, paying up for James Conner? Wide receiver doesn't get any easier, with a lack of cheap options really pressuring our budget. There are a handful of fun mid-range options like Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Tyler Lockett, but we might not have the money left over to afford it. Can we instead look to Marvin Jones Jr., Brandin Cooks, or even Sterling Shepard? There are a lot of nuanced conversations this week, and this is not a podcast you're going to want to miss.
