Quarterback Daniel Jones FD 7100 DK 5500 Opponent SEA Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Jones has been missing practice this week with a hamstring injury, relegated to doing independent drills on the sideline. Currently, it's believed that he won't suit up against the Seahawks, leaving the quarterbacking duties to Cold McCoy. McCoy himself is not a play by any stretch, and his being under center certainly takes the shine off of potential cash game play Evan Engram. Still, Engram caught two of McCoy's 10 attempts last week, so he shouldn't be ruled out entirely given how shallow tight end is once again. Tua Tagovailoa FD 6700 DK 5900 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Tua has been limited in practice this week after missing last week's tilt with the Jets, but things appear to be trending in the direction of him playing in this one vs. Cincinnati. Even when he's started, Tua hasn't exactly been an explosive DFS quarterback, so I'm not sure how much his return totally matters for our purposes. Receivers like Davante Parker probably prefer Fitzpatrick being under center, though it's close enough that Tua's status doesn't effect our projections in the passing game too dramatically. Running Back Dalvin Cook FD 10500 DK 9500 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 22.74 DK - 24.06 Cook has been practicing in a limited fashion all week, and while it appears as though he's going to play, his injury should at least give you pause if you're considering investing this much salary in him. It's a great match-up with a great prospective game-script, though, and no one would fault you for running him out there if it appears he's in line for his usual run this Sunday. Chris Carson FD 8000 DK 6300 Opponent NYG Proj Points FD - 11.42 DK - 12.63 On paper, this should be a smash spot for Chris Carson and the Seattle running game, but it's not totally clear to me that they have any plans of turning the whole workload over to Carson just yet. He took just 37% of the offensive snaps last week, and he's been limited in practice all week with...

James and Doug are back to take an early look at cash game plays for week 13 on FanDuel and DraftKings. The NFL is nothing if not strange right now, with COVID causing us to have a tightened schedule for Sunday's games. As a result, we have a thinner slate than usual to draw our plays from. Quarterback presents some interesting options, all with their own flaws, with Russell Wilson, Justin Herbert, and Taysom Hill leading the pack for us right now. Running back has one automatic play in Austin Ekeler, and then several speculative options. Dalvin Cook will be highly owned if he gets a clean bill of health, but after that, we're monitoring a number of situations to see if any cheap value springs loose. Wide receiver is probably the best value spot of the week, with Michael Thomas and Brandin Cooks being far too cheap for their current opportunity, and even guys like Keke Coutee if you want to go deep into punts. Tight end gives us decent midrange options in Hunter Henry and Evan Engram, and little else, so it looks like that position is fairly locked in right now. Love the DFSR podcast? START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Russell Wilson FD 9000 DK 7700 Opponent NYG Proj Points FD - 25.6 DK - 26.11 This will be yet another week in which we will be spending up at quarterback. It’s been that way most of the season and Week 13 is no different. Wilson is QB3 on the season behind only Mahomes and Murray thanks to his obvious skill and Seattle’s insistence on keeping other teams in the game. This week he gets a cake matchup against the Giants who rank 20th overall on defense and 25th against the pass. This is a smash spot for the Seahawks who come in as big, -10, favorites. The only concern here with Russ is Seattle gets going early, can keep a Colt McCoy-led offense in check and just grind it out on the ground. But he still has such a high floor it’s tough to imagine him sinking you either. Justin Herbert FD 7900 DK 6900 Opponent NE Proj Points FD - 23.06 DK - 24.24 Herbert’s 26.1 DraftKings points per game rank him fourth in the league in one of the truly surprising seasons we’ve seen from a rookie in quite some time. The price has come up requisitely but he’s still a guy to target this week. The Patriots defense is one of the worst in the league ranking 31st and 30th against the pass. Herbert has 40 or more passing attempts in six of his last seven games thanks to the Chargers often playing from behind. And he’s got another weapon back with Austin Ekeler fully off the IR. The issue with Herbert isn’t the defensive matchup but rather New England’s pace. Because they just grind the clock out on the ground, they allow (by far) the fewest opponent plays per game. But like Wilson the floor is high enough for Herbert here. Taysom Hill FD 7700 DK 6300 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 20.69 DK - 21.34 Hill runs back a matchup from two weeks ago when he debuted as the Saints’ signal caller with Drew Brees hitting the IR. Things started slow, but it didn’t take long for him to start racking up points. He ended up as one of the plays of the day throwing for 233 yards but more importantly, putting in 49 yards on the ground...

James and Doug are back to break down every game on the main slate of FanDuel and DraftKings for week 12. For a three-game slate, Thanksgiving presents us with a number of solid cash game options. We've got Watson holding it down at quarterback, Zeke and (hopefully) Swift at running back, and a number of reasonable receivers between Pittsburgh, Houston, and even Washington. We're keeping an eye on the Baltimore/Pittsburgh game to make sure it goes, of course, but it doesn't look like a bad slate all things considered. Sunday's slate is actually fairly robust as well, since there are no more byes for the rest of the season. We have two strong quarterback options in Josh Allen and Kyler Murray, with a little Taysom Hill if we wind up needing some savings on DraftKings. Running back is probably the most difficult position to break down at this point, with Salvon Ahmed being the only truly exciting option available at this point. We're hoping to be able to run Kalen Ballage, but we need to keep an eye on the potential Austin Ekeler return. Wide receiver is very deep this week, if a bit expensive. It will be tough to decide between Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Tyreek Hill - and it's going to be tough to pay for all three of them. All in all there is much to discuss, so don't miss the DFSR boys breaking it all down! Love the DFSR podcast? Go ahead and subscribe and listen wherever you get your daily podcasts. For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Kyler Murray FD 9100 DK 8200 Opponent NEProj Points FD - 25.11 DK - 25.93 Murray suffered an AC joint injury in the Seattle game, but after being checked out he returned to action and the Cardinals are assuming he'll play in this one against the floundering Pats. Deshaun Watson just embarrassed this Patriots defense in week 11, paying him price before halftime. Given that Murray is currently a rich man's version of Watson, he should be able to cook here. It's the best fantasy player of the year against the league's worst defense per DVOA - what more could we realistically ask for here? Josh Allen FD 8600 DK 7600 Opponent LACProj Points FD - 23.06 DK - 23.88 Not that anyone is really sleeping on Allen at this point, but it's certainly worth bringing him up for cash consideration given that he's significantly cheaper than Murray on both sites. Allen hasn't scored as many fantasy points per game as Murray this year, but Vegas totals suggest that the Bills are favored to score the most points of any team this week. It makes sense - the Chargers combine a mediocre defense with a fast-paced offense, letting other teams score the 8th most points per game this season. I could certainly see running Allen out there in a week where every dollar matters thanks to a relative lack of punt plays. Also considered: Taysom Hill! He was actually very efficient through the air, and his typical ground excellence saw him punching in two rushing touchdowns. Running Backs Kalen Ballage FD 5500 DK 5800 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 14.73 DK - 16.59 Ballage was the highest owned running back in week 11, and while his final stat line doesn't jump off the page, the floor is looking pretty darn excellent at this point. He got 25 opportunities in the competent Chargers offense, including 7 receptions. Now, playing him this week depends on the status of Austin Ekeler, who has been activated off the IR and has been practicing in a limited fashion. If Ballage happens to be the RB1 again, he'll ply his trade against Buffalo, who has quietly been a bottom 10 team in terms of DVOA against the run this season. The Chargers have a solid 24 point total this week, and...
