Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 9000 DK 8000 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 26.81 DK - 27.39 The Ravens need to win their Week 17 game to get into the playoffs and have one of the easiest paths to getting it done. They are 13-point favorites against the lowly Bengals and should lean heavily on Lamar Jackson to take care of business early and often in this game. Over the last four weeks he’s really turned the fantasy production back on to the levels we saw in last season’s MVP campaign. Since Week 12, he’s the second-best fantasy per game quarterback, averaging 29.2 DraftKings points thanks in large part to some huge rushing weeks. I doubt the Ravens stop what’s been working over the last four weeks, all wins. Jackson is expensive but is arguably the safest play here. Ryan Tannehill FD 8200 DK 7000 Opponent HOU Proj Points FD - 23.61 DK - 24.5 Jackson has an easy path to the playoffs, but the Titans might not be too far behind them. Tennessee needs a win over Houston to advance and the latter comes in with the third-worst defense on the season. Plus, this game has the week’s highest over/under (56.5) with the Titans -6.5 road favorites. Tannehill is coming off of a brutal week passing in bad conditions in Green Bay but did manage 55 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The passing yards can come and go, but Houston’s defense is so brutal that Tannehill is in play. And Deshaun Watson is good enough to turn the game into a shootout. It’s worth noting that Tannehill’s best game of the season was against these Texans when he put up 366 yards and four touchdowns in an overtime win. Daniel Jones FD 7000 DK 5100 Opponent DAL Proj Points FD - 20.54 DK - 21.47 Like we said, a big theme of this week will be teams with something to play for and that’s most definitely the case with the Giants who can get into the playoffs with a win over the Cowboys and a Washington loss. But the latter won’t be decided until later in the evening. So rest assured, the Giants will want to keep their foot on the gas. One of Jones’s biggest superlatives here is that he’s cheap in...

Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $8500 DK - $8300Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 42.39 DK - 44.05 Don't look now, but one of the league's most exciting young players might just be making a leap. Morant has shot 24 times a game over his first two this season - a 10 shot jump over last year's average - while being even more efficient from the field. He's played 4 more minutes per game, which looks to be his rotation in close games going forward. Now this Brooklyn game rates to be his toughest test yet in terms of Memphis' ability to stay in the game, but nobody will accuse Kyrie and Dinwiddie of being a strong defensive backcourt. Morant is going to settle in as a player who's 10% more expensive in short order, and I'm a buyer on these prices. Jamal Murray FD - $7100 DK - $7100Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 35.7 DK - 36.55 Isn't this kind of a steal for what we got used to expecting from Murray during the bubble last season? I get that it's been a rocky start so far, but if there's one thing we've learned from 7 years in this business it's this: we want to be buyers when a guy's price drops due to a bad shooting percentage. Murray went 1-9 in his debut, which has sandbagged his entire DFS season. He still got 20 shots in the air against the Clippers, and the 37 minutes he played mean the Nuggets aren't concerned about his calf. If he merely returns to last season's form, he's a terrific play against a banged-up Rockets team that has trouble with speedy point guards. Also considered: Killian Hayes? Playing in the NBA has looked hard for the Pistons' rookie so far, but Derrick Rose sitting opens up a lot of ball-handling duties. Shooting Guard Harden With John Wall still in his mandated quarantine, Harden will continue to work his way back into shape against the Nuggets on Monday. It's not like the few extra pounds really hurt his ability to play basketball, very well, for a long period of time - Harden...

Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7100 DK - $7400 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 37.36 DK - 38.82 Brogdon was, quite simply, phenomenal in the Pacers' opener against the Knicks. He was efficient on 8-16 shooting, and chipped in a well-rounded 8 assists, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals while he was at it. He played 35 minutes and appeared to be in excellent shape. Tonight he'll draw the Bulls, an average defensive team last year that arguably has gotten worse as it's shifted more minutes to the defensive challenged Coby White. I picture Brogdon rounding into an $8,000 DFS play in short order, and think we're getting a discount here. Dejounte Murray FD - $6900 DK - $6400 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 35.91 DK - 35.61 Speaking of under-priced point guards, Murray put up a Brogdon-esque 21/6/9/2 line against the Grizzlies before losing a few minutes when the game was out of hand. With Derrick White out for this one as well, we can expect Murray to shoulder a similar burden against the Raptors here. While the Spurs played a middle-of-the-pack pace over the course of last season, they were one of the fastest-paced teams in the bubble last year, and I think many players on this squad could be under-priced as a result. Terry Rozier FD - $6400 DK - $7000 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 31.88 DK - 33.46 Any concerns that Lamelo Ball was going to usurp the Charlotte point guard throne have to be at least set aside for the moment, with the Hornets' big-ticket point guard going to town for 42 points from the field an astounding 10 three-pointers against the Cavaliers in the Hornets' opener. He played 38 minutes out of the gate. Ball looked lost and didn't score a point in his 16 minutes on the court. Rozier's job looks safe for the time being, and while you don't love paying significantly more than you did in the opener, his floor looks high enough that you can justify it against a bad OKC team. Shooting Guard Buddy Hield FD - $5600 DK - $7100 Opponent -...

James and Doug are back to break down every game on the main slate of FanDuel and DraftKings for week 16. It's a strange week, with a lot of unknowns heading into the holiday weekend. We're hoping that teams and reporters are as sharp with reporting as usual, but that's certainly not clear at this point. For starters, a lot of viable DFS offenses are going up against tough defenses, and when you combine that with the fact that it's a shorter slate than usual the pickings are somewhat slim. The guys have their eye on the KC/ATL game, which should be a shootout that also has some injury implications. The potential absence of Julio Jones and/or Tyreek Hill could open up some serious DFS value. Some other great teams to target this week include Chicago and Houston, and after that there appears to be a significant fall off. There are a number of total stay-away teams, like the Jets, Jaguars, Bengals, Giants, and Broncos. There are teams with reasonable skill options with no consistent plan for getting them the ball in Philly, Dallas, and Carolina. The Rams/Seahawks has a high total, but the last two times these teams met it amounted to precious little fantasy production. Tune in as Doug and James try to find the diamonds in the rough in a tough week 16 of NFL DFS. Love the DFSR podcast? Go ahead and subscribe and listen wherever you get your daily podcasts. DFS NFL Podcast – Week 16 cash game podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel
DFS NFL Podcast - Week 16 cash game podcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Enjoy our week 16 NFL cash game podcast, where Doug and James take an early look at cash game plays for NFL DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL, NHL and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! There are a lot of interesting questions for cash games this week, starting at quarterback. Can we start Jalen Hurts after two good weeks, or should we be concerned about the low completion percentage? Would Deshaun Watson just be a safer play at similar prices? Is it insane to go super-cheap at QB on DK and play Trubisky? The guys weigh the pros and cons of each. Running back features two easy plays in David Montgomery and Le'Veon Bell, but after that, there are a number of situations to keep an eye on. You've got the potential absence of Ezekiel Elliott, a bizarre QB situation in WAS (which impacts JD McKissic), and more. You'll want to tune in tomorrow for an in-depth look at the position on a game by game basis. Wide receiver has good plays at every price point, as usual, with headliners like Calvin Ridley and Tyreek Hill, mid-range options like Brandin Cooks and Jarvis Landry, and even some punt plays lurking in LA if Keenan Allen sits. Tight end requires us to think about whether Travis Kelce has become too expensive, or if we can tolerate a mid-range option like Logan Thomas, Hunter Henry, or Noah Fant. All in all it's another interesting week. Enjoy! Love the DFSR podcast? Go ahead and subscribe and listen wherever you get your daily podcasts.
