Now is the time of year that we start worrying about thunderstorm activity that pops up almost randomly. And we have alot of that to worry about today and this evening. Places that I am not too concerned about are COL, KC and CLE while NYM, STL and CHI have a bit more risk. The other issue to keep in mind is the extreme heat and humidity that some ballparks will experience. So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. At the end of the post, we have our MLB eBook that you really ought to check out before setting even a single daily fantasy MLB lineup. It's free, below. Be sure to to also give him a Twitter follow at @mlbdfsweather A major thunderstorm complex across the heart of the country gives this forecast low confidence. Games in CLE, STL and 2 games in Chicago may be impacted by the weather. This type of setup breeds low confidence because of the lack of surface features and steering flow. Daily Fantasy MLB Weather Report 7/5/16 We’ve got Mark Paquette from MLB DFS Weather bringing you daily reports on today’s baseball slate. He’ll point out the where the sun is shining, any trouble spots around the league and where the wind may be in your favor. Be sure to to also give him a Twitter follow at @mlbdfsweather Three games that may see rain this evening will be played in WSH, STL and MIN. The game with the highest threat is MIN as the strongest thunderstorms in the country will be found across their region this evening. STL will see rain for the 4th consecutive day but it does not look steady so they should be able to play. The Nation's Capital should see a few showers and maybe a rumble of thunder that threaten a delay. So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. He’ll point out the where the sun is shining, any trouble spots around the league and where the wind may be in your favor. Be sure to to also give him a Twitter follow at @mlbdfsweather A stalled front stretching from near St. Louis to near Washington D.C. will be the focal point for some rain on this 4th of July. The rain will range as far west as the Plains, as far north as Cleveland and as far east as the Atlantic. Though PPD threats do not look to be high in any game, this front bears watching for the threat of rain causing impacts. So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. Daily Fantasy MLB Weather Report 7/2/16
Daily Fantasy MLB Weather Report 7/2/16 We’ve got Mark Paquette from MLB DFS Weather bringing you daily reports on today’s baseball slate. He’ll point out the where the sun is shining, any trouble spots around the league and where the wind may be in your favor. Be sure to to also give him a Twitter follow at @mlbdfsweather The weather will be relatively quiet as compared to last night, especially in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic where a cool, dry air mass has drained in. A highly unusual weather system for July will affect the St. Louis region and cause a huge PPD/delay risk. I call his system unusual because a) the low pressure system is fairly far south for this time of year b) there will be no lightning associated with it and c) temperatures will be way below normal. An all-around wet weather setup that will lead many wise DFS'ers to avoid this game. So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you.
