POINT GUARD Isaiah Thomas - FD 7300 DK 7200 Opponent - IND FD Proj. Pts - 36.42 DK Proj. Pts - 38.83 As long as Marcus Smart is out of the starting lineup because of injury, Thomas is a fantastic play. Though he struggled last night for sure, he gets up a ton of shots in the offense, pushes the pace and is unselfish enough to hand out the requisite amount of assists in order to keep the floor a little higher. Though Indiana comes in a little on the slower end in terms of Pace, the Celts make up for it in volume as they lead the league in getting up and down the floor. Thomas is one of the few Celtics whose minutes I see as safe if Smart isn't out there. Think he makes a great cash game play in that mid tier value. Ish Smith - FD 5100 DK 4800 Opponent - ATL FD Proj. Pts - 25.2 DK Proj. Pts - 25.91 Jrue Holiday isn't playing back-to-backs right now and unless that news changes in the short term, I think you see him sit tonight after going against the Mavs last night. If that's the case (and I think it will be) look for Ish to get a full load of run from the point. Last time Holiday sat, Ish went 33 minutes and a 7/7/7 line that more than paid these price tags. While the salaries aren't as low as I'd like, I think the minutes will more than get him there if he's in the starting lineup. Keep an eye on the Jeff Teague situation. He may get suspended for an incident on Monday night....

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, StarsDraft and DraftPot 9/30/15 A disclaimer on these daily baseball picks for tonight: many of the lineups are going to be altered due to the rain last night and the postseason coming up. Be sure to check the lineups of the players you ultimately decide to play and make sure they're starting before you submit your final lineup. If you want the rest? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, DraftKings and Victiv. Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Drew Smyly - FD 8700 DK 9900 StarsDraft Opponent- Mia (Cosart) R Park- @TB I don't really like any of the high priced arms going tonight, so I'm going to rely on the medium priced arms. Drew Smyly's price has risen a good amount throughout the season in large part because his performance has warranted it. Smyly has a 10+ K/9 rate and an xFIP that's hovering around 3.5. These numbers are well above average, and he's been really hot recently (putting up 17+ FD points in 3 of his last 5). The Marlins have been a little above average against lefties this year, so this makes me a little nervous, but I still think there's enough upside here. I don't love the matchup, but Smyly is one of the safest arms on the slate for your 50/50's and multipliers. Andrew Cashner - FD 7300 DK 6100 StarsDraft Opponent- Mil (Davies) R Park- @Sd Another medium priced arm that you should consider is Andrew Cashner. He hasn't been quite as good as Smyly this year, but he does have a few things working in his favor tonight. For starters, he's facing the Brewers, who are below average against right-handed pitching. The Brewers are also striking out at about a 21% rate against righties, meaning there's potential for Cashner to pile up some K's. Lastly, this game is being played in the pitcher-friendly confines of Petco Park, which depresses power all around. This isn't the safest pick in the world, but I certainly think there's enough upside to grab Cashner, especially at this lowered price point. Tyler Lyons - FD 5100 DK 4300 StarsDraft Opponent- Pit (Cole) R Park- @Pit This is strictly a large tournament play only, and even still comes with a few contingencies. The main reason we're writing him for the games tonight is that Lyons is a quality pitcher coming at a price point normally reserved for elite hitters. But what could really push this value over the top is if...

Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Gio Gonzalez - FD 9600 DK 8300 StarsDraft Opponent- Phi (Harang) R Park- @Was Normally I wouldn't recommend Gio because of his tendency to wet the bed (not literally, but you get the point) and really hurt me in my cash games. But I really like the matchup here, so I'm going to throw him out there with a little reservation. The Phillies are in the bottom third of wOBA and OPS against lefties, and in the top third in K% at over 22%. This lines up nicely for Gio since he's been a little better this year than his ERA suggests due to an unsustainably high BABIP. I see him having a high number of strikeouts in this one, and his matchup against Aaron Harang gives him a solid shot at the win. Don't say I didn't warn you if he drops a dud, but I'm expecting a strong outing here. John Lackey - FD 9000 DK 10000 StarsDraft This is a safer pick than Gio in my opinion, but doesn't present quite as much upside. Lackey doesn't possess great strikeout stuff, but makes up for it by going deep in games and having an ERA of 2.74. The matchup against the Brewers is terrific for a number of reasons. They're in the bottom half of league in OPS and wOBA against righties and in the top 10 in K%. The real kicker here is that the Cardinals are heavy favorites in this one because quite honestly Tyler Cravy isn't ready for the big leagues just yet. He's been getting lit up ever since he made the jump to the majors, and a Cardinals offense that's getting their bats back from injury should take advantage. I like Lackey for a solid performance and I definitely like him for a win. Henry Owens - FD 5900 DK 6600 StarsDraft Opponent- Bal (Jimenez) R Park- @Bos Strictly a tournament play only unless you're the boldest of risk takers. The O's have been horrible this year against lefties, and Owens already has a very strong performance against them in Camden Yards on the year. His numbers aren't amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but the price for potential here is undeniable. If you want to load up on bats today for a tournament, Owens is your guy. Catchers Buster Posey -...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, StarsDraft and DraftPot 9/16/15   The MLB season rolls on in daily fantasy (and in real life I suppose), it's a grind but we love it. Baseball is the season that just keeps on giving and we've got a bunch of picks for your Wednesday games. If you want the rest? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, DraftKings and Victiv. Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers David Price - FD 11900 DK 12500 StarsDraft Opponent- Atl (Miller) r Park- @Atl Here's your high-priced safe option for your 50/50's and double-ups. And to be quite honest, its not really close. Price has great numbers on the year, including an xFIP of 3.28 that puts him in the top ten among starting pitchers. Mix in an above average K/9 rate you've really got something. But the real value of this pick comes from the matchup against the Braves, who rank 27th in the league in wOBA and dead last in OPS against southpaws. Don't hesitate to roster Price because I fully expect him to be the top scoring pitcher of the evening. Alex Wood - FD 7900 DK 6600 StarsDraft Opponent- Col (de la Rosa) L Park- @Lad And here's your risky tournament play that could end up winning you quite a bit of cash. Wood has been strictly average this year, and none of his numbers really impress me (or anyone for that matter). So why do I recommend him? For the matchup of course, as the Rockies have been terrible against lefties this year. They rank 26th in OPS and 27th in wOBA against southpaw pitching, and those numbers include the boost they get from playing most of their games in a hitters paradise. It comes with quite a bit of risk involved, but picking Alex Wood gives you upside and enough flexibility to roster the big bats needed to do well in the big tourneys. Catchers I recommend going cheap at the catcher position today, so I'm starting off with Molina as my safe pick for this evening. Yadi has certainly struggled in the power department this year, but he's got a nearly 0.300 BA and an OPS over 0.700 on the year against right-handed pitching. Not numbers that win you a batting title or anything, but they're solid enough when they're matched up against Wily Peralta. Prelate has one of the lowest K/9 rates in the business, and Molina doesn't strikeout much. I expect Molina to pick up a couple...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Victiv 9/1/15

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Victiv 9/1/15 Tonight features a massive slate of games, so I’ll try to provide multiple picks at different price levels that have different levels of upside. This is another night with a lot of strong arms pitching, so finding value throughout the lineup will be especially crucial. If you want the rest? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, DraftKings and Victiv. Pitchers Chris Sale - FD 12800 DK 13900 Victiv Opponent- Min (Duffey) R Park- @Min The most expensive pitcher of the evening, and the guy who I believe has the best matchup of the elite arms is Chris Sale. I don’t like Bumgarner or Greinke because they’re facing each other, and Cueto is facing an elite offense in Detroit. The Twins are only slightly above league average when it comes to OPS and wOBA against southpaws, and Sale is far from league average (hot take). Unless you’re new to this DFS thing, you know Sale has some of the best numbers in the business, and can toss a gem on any given night. I’m not crazy about the price, but if you’re looking for the most safety for your 50/50’s and multipliers, give Sale strong consideration. Gerrit Cole - FD 10000 DK 10800 Victiv Opponent- Mil (Nelson) R Park- @Mil Coming down in price a bit from the elite arms, Gerrit Cole is a very interesting play for cash games and maybe even for tournaments. Cole is facing a Brewers squad slightly below league average against righties in terms of OPS and wOBA, and have the 10th highest K % in the league. As good as Cole has been on the year, he’s actually been better pitching on the road, which works well against a Brewers squad that struggles at home. I (and Vegas) like the Pirates to win this game, so the win bonus could vault Cole up in value while giving you more flexibility to include some big bats in your lineup. Matt Shoemaker - FD 8000 DK 6700 Victiv Opponent- Oak (Bassitt) R Park- @Oak My personal favorite for tournaments comes in the form of Matt Shoemaker for a couple of reasons. For one, his price isn’t going to kill you and will allow you to roster more than a few solid bats. Secondly, while the Athletics don’t strike out a ton, they are in the bottom third in OPS and wOBA against righties this season. Lastly and most importantly, Shoemaker has a dream matchup against a guy who has gotten...
