FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks –Wednesday, 1/8/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 1/8/20 The last couple of Wednesdays have been bizarre because of the holidays but we're back at it here with a normal slate. In fact, we have nine games ahead of us here, making for a dynamo DFS day. One thing to consider is that we have a lot of lopsided matchups on this slate. That's evident when you take a look at the spreads, with numerous elite teams facing off with some of the weaker clubs in the NBA. With that in mind, let's go ahead and get into it!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9000 DK - $9700Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 52.24 DK - 55.25 Many people will pivot to Harden and rightfully so, but Young is quietly one of the best plays on the board too. We're talking about a guy who's averaging 49.3 DK points per game, one of the league leaders in minutes played, usage rate and shots taken. That's a recipe for success in a matchup like this with the Rockets surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season. That was certainly the case in their last meeting, with Young dropping 52.3 DK points in just 31 minutes of play. Lonzo Ball FD - $6300 DK - $7400Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 35.92 DK - 37.21 Ball was a huge disappointment early on but he's really hit his stride recently. Not only has he scored at least 38 DK points in four-straight games, Ball is also averaging 47 fantasy points per game in that span. That's a truly ridiculous total from a guy who's just $6,300 on FanDuel and it would be hard to imagine that not continuing with Jrue Holiday missing this game. We don't hate the matchup either, as this should be a competitive game between two sub-par teams in one of the most up-tempo matchups of the evening. We also like Kyle Lowry against a 27th-ranked Hornets defense with seemingly every other Toronto player injured. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11200 DK - $12800Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 63.24 DK - 66.02 Harden is the most expensive player on the slate and I'd argue that...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 1/4/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 1/4/20 This is a bizarre slate, so, we're going to take a different approach to this article. We're going to go all value plays here and leave it to you to fill in the rest. All of you know that Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo are good plays and we feel as though you can get both of those guys in there with a combination of these players. With that in mind, let's get into these fantastic values!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Lonzo Ball FD - $5700 DK - $6500Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 32.98 DK - 34.07 While this DraftKings price is a little lofty for our hopes, this FanDuel price is an absolute steal. The thing that's really changed for Ball is his role and it's done wonders for his fantasy value. Ball is playing over 35 minutes a game across his last four outings while averaging 33 fantasy points per game over his last six fixtures. That's all you can hope for from someone in this price range and we have to love that against a Sacramento squad who allows the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs this season. Aaron Holiday FD - $5000 DK - $5600Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 33.35 DK - 34.48 With Malcolm Brogdon out for the next two games, Holiday should continue to start at point guard for the Pacers. Since taking over that role seven games ago, Holiday is averaging 28 FanDuel points per game across 30 minutes of action. That makes these price tags truly shocking, as he should be above $6,000 on both sites with that sort of production in his back pocket. If you're concerned about his last game, don't be. He basically lost minutes to foul trouble in the first and third quarters and wasn't able to make up for the lost time. What we really love is this matchup though, with Atlanta sitting 28th in defensive efficiency and 29th in points allowed. Not to mention, they allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season. Luka Doncic should flirt with yet another triple-double against a bad Hornets team and is always a top choice. Shooting Guard Marcus...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 12/28/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 12/28/19 After a few slow days in the midst of the holiday season, we're staring at a monster slate here. In fact, we have 14 games on this slate, with just two teams sitting. That is going to cause chaos in terms of injury reports and resting, especially considering there's a handful of teams playing in the second half of a back-to-back set. With that in mind, let's get into our favorite plays of the day!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Tomas Satoransky FD - $5700 DK - $6000Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 32.15 DK - 32.23 We're going to kick things off with a couple of cheap point guards in order to get some studs into our build later. Satoransky is just that, as he's one of the best values of the day in the $6,000-range. The recent form from Sato is simply stupendous, scoring at least 35 DK points in four-straight games. That extends a streak in which he's averaging 28.3 fantasy points per game across his last 16 fixtures. He gets those fantasy points by stuffing the stat sheet and that should be a relatively easy task here with Atlanta ranked 28th in defensive efficiency and 29th in points allowed. Elfrid Payton FD - $5600 DK - $6500Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 34.88 DK - 34.36 Payton is actually a very similar player to Satoransky because he too provides fantasy value through his stat-stuffing ways. He's shown that all the way back to his Orlando days and capturing the starting point guard role in New York is what's really made him valuable. In his three starts, Elf is averaging 34 DK points per game across 29.7 minutes of action. That's the rate we've seen throughout his career and he should continue to produce as long as he keeps getting the playing time. Facing Washington is the best part of this play though, with the Wizards ranked last in nearly every defensive metric. If Malcolm Brogdon is out again, don't forget about Aaron Holiday. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11700 DK - $11200Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 63.72 DK - 66.67 After a couple of nice values at point guard,...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 12/21/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 12/21/19 While it's the holiday season, these players have not been rewarded with health. We've been bombarded by injuries over the past couple weeks and it's opened up a ton of value on these last two slates. While it was mostly Toronto on Friday, we're going to take advantage of other injuries here. There are also two games being played before the 7ET slate but we're going to go ahead and avoid those since they're not a part of the main slates. With that in mind, let's get into it!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $7900 DK - $8200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 44.82 DK - 43.74 While Simmons is a guy who can disappoint, we absolutely love his athleticism in a matchup like this. Let's begin with that opposition, facing a Washington club who sits dead-last in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. That doesn't even take into consideration that they surrender the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards and Simmons should be able to stuff the stat sheet at ease against these guys. That was evident in their last meeting, collecting 17 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and three steals on 80 percent shooting. George Hill FD - $4400 DK - $4400Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 22.86 DK - 23.22 With Eric Bledsoe out for another week or so, Hill should continue to see big minutes at point guard. Over his last five games, Hill is averaging 24 DK points across 24.2 minutes of action. That equates to 5.5X value and it's scary to think how good he could be against this team if he reaches the 29 minutes he played in the most recent outing. The Knicks currently sit 25th in defensive efficiency and Hill could receive some extra run off the bench in what's expected to be a lopsided result. Dejounte Murray has been much better recently and remains in consideration in the $6,000-range. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11100 DK - $11600Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 61.48 DK - 64.28 Harden is always a good play and we have to love that his price dropped after a disappointing performance on Thursday. It...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 12/18/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 12/18/19 After a slow Tuesday night, we're back at it with nine games here. One thing that we love is the fact that no game has a double-digit spread. That's a DFS player's dream and it should make for a big scoring night. Without further ado, let's go ahead and get into it!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Kemba Walker FD - $7600 DK - $7400Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 41.12 DK - 42.64 These are some strange prices. Walker has done nothing but produce all season long and he should be $1,000 more on each site. In fact, Kemba is averaging 23.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists en route to over 40 DraftKings points per game. That alone is north of 5X value at this price and we love that he gets a matchup against an undersized Jalen Brunson. His form has been even better recently, averaging 44 DK points per game across his last eight fixtures. Jalen Brunson FD - $6000 DK - $6000Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 32.03 DK - 33.06 With Doncic out of the picture, Brunson is one of the best values plays on the board. That's about 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists out of the lineup which doesn't even include his 20-plus shots and 30 percent usage rate. Brunson is definitely keen on taking care of a good amount of that, scoring over 37 DK points in the two games Doncic has missed. Playing at least 32 minutes in both of those while receiving starts tells us that he's the go-to guy in his absence and we have to continue to use him until he gets closer to $7,000. Chris Paul is coming off the best game of his season and gets a super matchup against a bad Grizzlies defense. Shooting Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $8200 DK - $7800Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 44.92 DK - 45.28 With Zion Williamson and J.J. Redick likely missing this game, Holiday should get a ton of shots, minutes and usage. While that's already been the case, we absolutely love that for a talented player like this. We're talking about a guy who's averaging more than...
