FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 2/12/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 2/12/20 This is my final article before the All-Star break and it's been a blast so far. That leaves us with a monster 11-game slate for today and that should make things interesting with so many injuries throughout the league. What's funny is that the biggest absence is not due to injury because Giannis Antetokounmpo is now a father. That is going to be a game-changer on this slate and a major theme in this article!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9600 DK - $10200Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 52.89 DK - 55.45 This man is an absolute freak right now and it's simply hard to fade him in such a tasty matchup. Let's kick things off by talking about his opposition, facing a Memphis club who sits fourth in pace and 21st in total defense. That pace alone makes Lillard one of the hardest players to fade out there, scoring at least 42 fantasy points in 12 of his last 14 games while averaging 58.3 DraftKings points per game in that span. That happens to be one of the highest totals in the NBA and the only other guys approaching that average are closer to $12,000. Coming off the back-to-back blowout loss to the Pelicans, we aren't all that concerned with any reduction in minutes here. Eric Bledsoe FD - $6700 DK - $7700Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 41.05 DK - 42.01 Milwaukee players are going to be a common theme in this article and it's easy to see why with Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the lineup. That's 30 points, 13.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and a league-leading 37 percent usage rate gone and a guy like Bledsoe is plenty capable of taking over ball-handling duties in his absence. With him off the floor, Bledsoe is second on the team with a 32.8 percent usage rate while averaging 1.5 DK points per minute. While Bledsoe has only played three games that Giannis has sat, he's actually scored at least 44 fantasy points in all of them while averaging 51 DraftKings points per outing. Kyle Lowry (FD $7300 DK $7900) remains a great value below $8,000 against a 20th-ranked Nets defense,...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 2/8/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 2/8/20 After a wild trade deadline on Thursday, this is one of the first slates with these new-look teams. The good news is that we don't have a whole lot of the trade participants on this slate and that should make it a little easier to figure it out. There is one day-game between the Bucks and Magic though and we'll go ahead and skip that since its not part of the main slate. That leaves us with eight games, so, let's go ahead and get into it. Point Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6400 DK - $7800Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 40.49 DK - 42.06 When Kyrie Irving is out, Dinwiddie is always one of the best options on the board. If you look at the first 32 starts that Dinwiddie made for Irving, he averaged 38.4 fantasy points per game. That's no surprise when you see that he led the team in usage rate (29 percent) and minutes played (35), as the focal point of this offense. While he's struggled in the last two games without him, a 32-game sample size is obviously way more reliable than a two-gamer. That recent slide has lowered his price to a number we can't overlook either, as Dinwiddie was $2,000 more on FanDuel in the midst of that expanded role. Reggie Jackson FD - $6000 DK - $6600Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 33.39 DK - 34.89 Jackson has established himself as the Pistons go-to player. The reason for that is because Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose and Luke Kennard are all injured while Andre Drummond is now playing in Cleveland. Recently Jackson has led the team with 16 shots per game and 29 percent usage rate. He's averaged 29 fantasy points per game since his return from injury, after dropping a season-best 48.3 DraftKings points on Wednesday. The best part of all of this might be the matchup though, facing a Knicks team who sits 22nd in defensive efficiency. Jamal Murray is coming off a 31-point gem in his most recent game and gets a good matchup against Phoenix here. Shooting Guard DeMar DeRozan FD - $7700 DK - $8100Opponent - SACProj Pts...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 2/5/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 2/5/20 The trade deadline got a-rockin' last night with a four-team deal going down between the Rockets, Timberwolves, Hawks and Nuggets. It could have some fantasy impact for tonight's slate. There could be some late moves Wednesday as well and that always causes chaos for DFS purposes. That means players can get pulled in the middle of games and it could also open up some value right before lock. With that in mind, let's get into our plays of the day!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9600 DK - $10100Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 49.93 DK - 53.16 It's strange that Young hasn't been given the price increase that he deserves. The simple fact is, he is the Atlanta offense. That's evident when you see that he ranks fourth in the NBA with a 33.9 percent usage rate while taking 20.6 shots per game. That's a truly absurd role and it doesn't even take into consideration that he's one of the league leaders with 9.0 assists per game as well. That has led to this 51-point DraftKings average and we absolutely love that sort of role and form against a Minnesota team who ranks 27th in points allowed. In their one meeting this season, Trae dropped 57 fantasy points against them despite shooting below 40 percent from the field. Mike Conley FD - $4300 DK - $5100Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 24.71 DK - 25.57 With Conley being re-inserted into the starting lineup, he remains a nice value until he gets closer to $6,000. We're talking about a guy who's traditionally been a $7,000-player throughout his career and a bunch of injuries has lowered these prices to these enticing numbers. In his return to the starting lineup against Portland on Saturday, Conley collected 34.5 DraftKings points across 30 minutes of action. That's what we expected to see all season and we anticipate him continuing that form at full health. While Denver is certainly a tough matchup, these price tags limit that risk. Reggie Jackson (FD 5000 DK 4900) is coming off a 1-of-16 disaster but remains too cheap with his huge usage. Shooting Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $7000 DK...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 2/1/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 2/1/20 While we have 10 games on the Saturday schedule, nine of them make-up the night slate. The one omission is a matchup between the Clippers and T'Wolves and we'll go ahead and fade that one altogether. That leaves a ton of great options on the board, so, we'll do our best to mix the best values plays with the correct studs. With that in mind, let's get into this slate. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $8900 DK - $9100Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 48.93 DK - 50.06 Irving is in the midst of a monster game on Friday against the Chicago Bulls and it's hard to overlook anytime anyone faces the Wizards. The simple fact is, Washington ranks dead-last in points allowed, defensive efficiency and fantasy points surrendered to opposing point guards. That's a truly frightening against a guy like Irving, with the stud guard averaging 49 fantasy points per game for the season. In that Friday game, Irving finished with 54 points, five rebounds and five assists and it's scary to think that he's coming in with that sort of momentum in the best matchup possible. Jalen Brunson FD - $5000 DK - $5300Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 25.63 DK - 26.36 J.J. Barea FD - $3800 DK - $4600Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 22.69 DK - 24.19 I really thought that Brunson would be the guy with Luka Doncic going down but Barea getting a start on Friday would indicate otherwise. In that game, Brunson had seven points, three rebounds and three assists across 20 minutes off the bench while Barea had 11 points, five rebounds and nine assists as a starter. That means we have to go with Barea as the superior choice because he's also the cheaper option as well. With that in mind, if Brunson gets the start here, pivot to him. The reason we like these two is because Doncic's 36 percent usage rate is gone along with his 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. That's a ton of usage for these PGs to makeup and we have to love that against a 29th-ranked Hawks defense. If Frank Ntilikina remains out...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 1/29/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 1/29/20 We're looking at a short six-gamer for this Wednesday slate which is truly bizarre with Wednesday's typically being one of the biggest days of the week. We actually have a ton of bad defenses on display and that should make for a high-scoring night. With that in mind, let's get into our top DFS plays of the day!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9300 DK - $9100Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 48.97 DK - 49.92 This is a tough one simply because of the Kobe Bryant situation. Kyrie Irving sat out the last game on Sunday after Bryant's passing and it's unclear if he'll even suit up here. One would have to believe that he will after practicing on Tuesday though and if he does, we expect him to put on a show with a heavy heart. This is a guy who's been feeling it recently too, averaging 47.2 DraftKings points per game across his last five fixtures. We love that against a Detroit team that ranks 20th in defensive efficiency. We can't argue with the price either, with Irving playing at a $10,000 level throughout the year Chris Paul FD - $7200 DK - $7400Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 39.25 DK - 39.7 It really doesn't make sense why these sites continue to keep Paul below $8,000. This guy has been balling out all season, averaging over 39 DK points per game over his last 27 fixtures. That's no surprise when you see that he's averaging 37 fantasy points per game for the season and that should allow him to cruise right through an 18th-ranked Kings' defense. In their one meeting this season, Paul collected 41.3 DraftKings points, despite shooting just 3-of-9 from the field. If he stuffs the stat sheet like he did then and reaches his typical 17.2 points, Paul could be looking at a 50-point gem. Forget everything we've said here if James Harden sits. If that's the case, Russell Westbrook is the best play on the board. Elfrid Payton is also a nice value in the $6,000-range too. Shooting Guard DeMar DeRozan FD - $7900 DK - $8400Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 41.76...
