Point Guard Elfrid Payton FD - $5500 DK - $6500 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 33.09 DK - 33.98 Payton has been an underrated fantasy asset throughout his career and it's a wonder why he's just $5,500 on FanDuel still. Anybody who starts for Tom Thibideau needs to be taken into consideration because of his distribution of minutes (or lack thereof) and that certainly means his starting point guard is in play. Since struggling in the first two games of the season, Payton is averaging 33 DraftKings points per game across 32.2 minutes of action. More importantly, he's averaging 15.5 shots and 6.0 assists, showing just how much he's handling the ball. We certainly don't mind the matchup against a lackluster Oklahoma City roster either. Cole Anthony FD - $5000 DK - $5000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 30.31 DK - 31.04 With Markelle Fultz (ACL) missing the remainder of the season, Anthony should be forced into big minutes and a starting role. That alone makes him a good value, particularly when you take into consideration that he averages 20.2 DK points per game in 21 minutes per outing. That means we could be looking at a 30-point average if he plays the 30 minutes we anticipate and that'd be a huge mark from a $5K player. The thing that really adds to his value here is the matchup though, with Houston ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency. LaMelo Ball has been great in his rookie season and it's just a matter of time before he takes DeVonte Graham's job. In any case, it was a solid night with recommendations like Domantas Sabonis, Elfrid Payton, and Clint Capela. This Thursday slate is much more manageable though, with only five games on the ledger. These are my favorite types of nights for the NBA because there's enough diversity in the player pool while not being too overwhelming. With that in mind, let's get into it! On Tuesday without him, Irving provided 29 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals, doing that damage in just three quarters of action. That's still 50 fantasy points and he was well on his way to 60 or 70 if that game stayed competitive. That should certainly be the case here, with the Sixers entering this matchup as a 2.5-point favorite. What we really like is that he took 19 shots and posted a 31 percent usage rate which is likely his floor in this expanded role. Just keep using Irving as long as KD is out. Tyus Jones FD - $5400 DK - $5600 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 27.11 DK - 25.93 Jones has been starting at point guard ever since Ja Morant went down and he's been doing better than this price would indicate. In the five games since Morant's injury, Jones has scored at least 25 DraftKings points in four of them, averaging over 26 DK points per game. That doesn't sound too dominant but it's a really good floor from a player sitting in the mid-$5,000s. What adds to his intrigue here is the matchup, facing a Cleveland backcourt without Darius Garland and Dante Exum. We have 11 games in total which make the player pool monstrous. One thing that we need to keep an eye on are the back-to-backs, with the Bulls, Clippers and Jazz all playing in the second half of a back-to-back set. We also have the Cavaliers and Sixers playing the frontend and that always causes chaos for DFS purposes. With that in mind, let's get into our Wednesday picks! Where that's really evident is in his usage, leading the club with a 28 percent usage rate. That has led to him scoring at least 36 DraftKings points in all but one game this season, which happened to be a blowout loss to the Suns. We definitely don't anticipate a blowout here, with the Kings entering this matchup as a 6.5-point favorite. Part of that is because Chicago has really been struggling with opposing point guards, surrendering the second-most fantasy points to them this season. Elfrid Payton FD - $5300 DK - $6000 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 38.1 DK - 39.47 Payton has quietly been a stat-stuffing machine throughout his career and he's found himself a nice role with the Knicks this season. Not only is he their starting point guard, Payton is also averaging 31 fantasy points per game across 30 minutes of action in his last five fixtures. That's stellar news with Payton providing rebounds and assists at ease, particularly when you factor that he's averaging 16 shots a game in that span too. We're certainly not worried about the matchup either, with the Jazz allowing Kyrie Irving to drop 50 DK points on them Tuesday night, despite barely playing in the second half. Malcolm Brogdon is one of the most underrated players in the NBA and is a great option against a putrid Rockets defense....

That's certainly been the case this year, with Irving posting a 33 percent usage rate with him off the floor while averaging 1.73 DK points per minute. That's one of the best rates you'll see, equating to 60.6 DK points if Irving plays the 35 minutes we expect. That's really not that far off of his production with KD, averaging 45.4 fantasy points per game anyway. Mike Conley FD - $7000 DK - $6900 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 35.11 DK - 37.08 Many people wrote off Conley after a disappointing debut season with the Jazz but he's returned to his All-Star form this year. In fact, Conley has at least 33 DraftKings points in four of six games this season, en route to a 36.3-point average. That means Conley's price is still about $500 below where it should be and it's clear that these sites haven't taken notice of his return to form. Getting to face Brooklyn isn't too bad of a matchup either, with the Nets sitting fifth in pace and 17th in points allowed. Jamal Murray just went off against Minnesota on Sunday and we like him in the same matchup today. Facing off against Danian Lillard is a good way to start, with Lillard being one of the worst defensive point guards in the NBA. Steph has scored at least 42 DK points in seven-straight games against the Blazers en route to a 52-point average. Raul Neto FD - $4500 DK - $3400 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 4.53 DK - 4.47 With Russell Westbrook expected to sit in the second half of a back-to-back set, the Wizards are going to be all over this article. Neto is actually the direct beneficiary, starting at point guard for Russ. While he's relatively unproductive when Westbrook plays, Neto proved in his one start that he can go beast mode when given the opportunity. In fact, Raul collected 22 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals across 32 minutes of action in that rare start. That equates to 41 fantasy points which would be an absurd 12X value on DraftKings at this price tag. Obviously, 12X is one of the best rates you'll see all season.
