FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 4/13/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 4/13/21 The NBA season is absolutely crazy right now. What's absurd is how many things off the court are affecting things on it. That makes circumstances tough to predict on our end, but we're doing our best to put all these pieces together to complete this difficult puzzle. What it has done is open up a ton of value across the board, and that's on full display by some of these mind-boggling prices. One of them happens to be our first recommendation, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7500 DK - $6700 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 38.15 DK - 39.71 What is DraftKings thinking here? Brogdon was an $8,000 player a month ago, and they're letting an injury-riddled stretch lower his price way too far. If you take out his final game before getting injured and his first game back, Brogdon has been crushing recently. In fact, he's got at least 36 fantasy points in nine of his last 10 games without those injury-affected performances, averaging 40 DK points per game in that span. His most recent outing is a good indicator of how healthy he is right now, dropping a season-best 63 DraftKings points! That makes it hard to believe he's below $7K, making him one of the best values on the board. Dennis Schroder FD - $6900 DK - $6500 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 31.22 DK - 31.64 With LeBron James and Anthony Davis both injured, Schroder has become the man for the Lakers. With those guys off the floor, Dennis the Menace is second on the team with a 26 percent usage rate while averaging 1.1 DK points per minute. That's on full display when you see that Schroder is averaging 34 fantasy points per game across his last 14 outings. That makes it hard to believe he's still a sub-$7K player, especially in a matchup like this. The Hornets currently own a 20th OPRK against opposing point guards this season and have lost most of their backcourt to injuries. Terry Rozier has a monster role with so many injuries in Charlotte and should continue to...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 4/9/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 4/9/21 Some wacky things are going on in the NBA right now. As someone who covers basketball for a living, players are suiting up every night that I've never heard of. That's just how bizarre things are right now, and it's likely to continue with so many teams falling out of it. It's all about adapting at this point of the season, though, and you'll see what I mean with some of the names you'll see in here. With that in mind, let's kick things off with someone that everyone knows. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $9600 DK - $9900 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 51.33 DK - 54.5 If the Warriors had a better record, Curry would be firmly in the MVP discussion. He's currently averaging 29.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. That's led to a 49-point average for the season on DraftKings, and he's been even better since his return from injury. In fact, Chef Curry has at least 50 fantasy points in all four games since his return, en route to a 54-point average. All of that makes him good against anyone, but Washington happens to be the most fantasy-friendly opponent in the NBA. They currently rank 26th in defensive efficiency and 30th in points allowed while playing at the fastest pace in the league. Terry Rozier FD - $7300 DK - $8500 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 40.87 DK - 42.41 I have a feeling that Scary Terry is going to live in this article for the next month. We say that because Charlotte's backcourt is a shell of itself, missing Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball, and Malik Monk. That's three of the primary scorers on this roster, and it's going to leave Rozier with primary ball-handling duties and an opportunity to take 20-25 shots a game. That's awesome for a dude in the midst of a breakout season, with Scary Terry averaging 35 fantasy points per game. We honestly don't expect Milwaukee to slow him down either, with the Bucks ranked 19th in points allowed while playing at the third-fastest pace in the NBA. If Jamal Murray is out,...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 4/8/21

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 4/8/21 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! This is my first MLB DFS article of the season, and I can't tell you happy I am to be back! The first week has been beyond crazy, and I'm glad that we have a week of numbers to help analyze this slate. This happens to be a weird one, though, with just nine games in total spread throughout the day. We usually try to focus on the main slate, but with only two games at night, we're going to offer up plays throughout the day. With that in mind, let's get into it! Pitchers José Berríos FD - P 9600 DK - SP 9800 Opponent - SEA (Marco Gonzales) Park - MIN FD - 41.64 DK - 22.42 If you don't think Berrios is the best play on the board here, you need to examine your DFS strategy. In his first start of the season, the 26-year-old threw six no-hit innings against the Milwaukee Brewers. More importantly, he struck out 12 batters en route to 64 FanDuel points. What really adds to Berrios' value here is that he's at home, generating a 3.38 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 12.1 K/9 rates at home last season. It's hard to understand why he had such drastic splits, but it's clear that he loves sleeping in his own bed! All of that makes him hard to fade, and we absolutely love this matchup too. The Mariners are currently hitting .193 as a team while posting a gross 31.4 percent K rate. That has Berrios and the Twins entering this matchup as a -190 favorite as well. Taijuan Walker FD - P 7700 DK - SP 7700 Opponent - MIA (Undecided) Park - NYM FD - 32.16 DK - 16.6 Citi Field has turned bad pitchers into solid ones and average pitchers into great ones, becoming the most pitcher-friendly park in baseball. That makes me feel like Walker could be on the cusp of a breakout season because this youngster has flashed moments of brilliance throughout his career. In 11 starts last season, TW pitched to a 2.70 ERA and 1.16 WHIP while striking out 50 batters across 53 innings. That's why the Mets decided to sign this guy, and he threw four scoreless innings in his final spring training start, facing the minimum 12 batters. That form makes him really hard to fade in a matchup like this, with the Marlins ranked 22nd in both runs scored...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday 4/7/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 4/7/21 Tuesday's slate was not my best showing, but it was an unusual slate. There have been so many wacky things going on in the NBA recently that it's hard to know what to expect. That has me totally checked in for this Wednesday slate, though, and I love these recommendations. With that said, there are many teams in the second half of a back-to-back set, and that's something that needs to be monitored. Those teams include Atlanta, Boston, never, Indiana, Memphis, and New Orleans. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Terry Rozier FD - $7400 DK - $8400 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 42.02 DK - 43.5 The Hornets have been one of the biggest surprises this season, but the final month could be rough for them. We say that because Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball, and Malik Monk are all expected to miss significant time. That's a ton of usage, scoring, and ball-handling out of the lineup, leaving Rozier to feast. Scary Terry has a usage rate of 30 percent with those guys off the floor while averaging over 1.2 DK points per minute. We love that for a guy who's in the midst of a breakout season, averaging nearly 35 DraftKings points per game. This matchup is fantastic, too, with Oklahoma City owning a 27th OPRK against opposing point guards this season. Lonzo Ball FD - $7800 DK - $7700 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 39.24 DK - 40.88 The injury bug has really struck this New Orleans team badly, with Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker all nicked up. That's three of the main ball-handlers on this team, leaving Ball as one of the only guys left. While he was hurt himself last week, he's been brilliant in his two games since returning. In fact, Ball's got at least 52 DK points in both of those, despite struggling with his shot. His stat-stuffing ability has allowed him to thrive without his shot falling, and a near triple-double on Tuesday is a good indicator of how much he's doing right now. He was actually playing well before all these injuries, too, averaging 37 fantasy points per game across his last...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 4/6/21

Posted by on Apr 6, 2021 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups, Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, DraftKings NBA Picks, FanDuel NBA Picks, featured |

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 4/6/21 Man, this portion of the season is not for the faint of heart. You better be zoned in on everything going on in the NBA because strange things are happening every night. We have a handful of teams in full-on take mode and just as many teams missing their whole starting lineups due to injury. We definitely have a few of those instances here, so let's go ahead and talk about it! Point Guard Trae Young FD - $8500 DK - $9100 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 43 DK - 45.6 We absolutely love this pricing with Trae. He's been a $10K player at times in the past, and a dud in his most recent game has lowered this tag a little too far. Before that dud, Young had at least 47 DraftKings points in five of his previous six games. That's way too much from a player sitting around $9K on each site, especially when you see that Trae has 60-70-point upside as well. We believe he can reach that upside in this spectacular matchup, with the Pelicans ranked 28th in defensive efficiency and 27th in points allowed. They're also surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards as well and are missing about half of their roster. T.J. McConnell FD - $5600 DK - $5300 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 31.8 DK - 30.75 McConnell is a solid play no matter what, but with Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon both questionable, he could be the best per-dollar play on the board. If you look at the 14 games that T.J. has played at least 29 minutes, he's averaging nearly 40 fantasy points per game. That's far from a surprise when you see his stat-stuffing ability, and he's guaranteed to play 30-35 minutes if Brogdon sits yet again. He's been rolling recently anyway, scoring at least 26 fantasy points in four straight outings. We love that against a Chicago team that ranks eighth in pace and 21st in defensive efficiency. He's killed them this year, too, averaging over 30 DK points per game in two meetings with the Bulls. Ja Morant is sitting around $7K on...
