FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 5/25/21 The first few days of the playoffs were absolutely incredible, and we should have some more stunning action here. The Lakers, Clippers, and Celtics are all looking to avoid 0-2 holes, and it should have those teams especially hungry. With that in mind, let's kick things off with someone who has motivation for other reasons! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9200 DK - $8800 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 51.4 DK - 52.58 We just mentioned that Kyrie is motivated for differing reasons than most players because he's facing his former team. Everyone knows that his days in Boston were far from pretty, and it looks like it has Irving starving when he faces his former team. In their four meetings this season, Kyrie is averaging 30.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.5 steals en route to 53.3 DraftKings points per game. That's some of the best splits you'll see, and it makes it hard to understand why he remains around $9K. That's close to the guy we saw all year anyway, with Kyrie posting a 46-point average. Dennis Schroder FD - $5700 DK - $5600 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 29.37 DK - 30.19 Schroder is not quite the same guy when LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both suiting up, but he's still too good to be this cheap. We're talking about a guy who's averaging over 30 fantasy points per game, playing even better in the second half of the season. That's right on par with our projections for Dennis the Menace, and it's hard to neglect from a guy barely cracking $5,500 on both sites. Facing Phoenix is definitely a tough matchup, but Schroder is averaging 28 DK points per game across 34 minutes a night in their four meetings this year. Kemba Walker has been fantastic without Jaylen Brown this season. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $10800 DK - $10200 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 50.03 DK - 52.17 It's strange to see Harden in this price range. The Beard is usually $1,000 more on each site, and it's hard to understand why he's seen a drastic price...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 5/20/21

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 5/20/21 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! This might end up being the smallest slate I write about all season. We have a four-game day slate and a four-game night ledger on this traveling Thursday card, and we're going to focus on the night slate beginning at 7ET. That means we have only eight teams in action and one of the smallest player pools you'll see. That's on full display when you see the lackluster pitching options, but that also means there are some fun bats to stack as well. With that in mind, let's kick things off with Vince Velasquez. Pitchers Vince Velasquez FD - P 7900 DK - SP 7500 Opponent - MIA (Sandy Alcantara) Park - PHI FD - 32.89 DK - 17.59 The fact that Velasquez is our top pitcher says a lot about this slate, but I've always been partial to this guy. He had that one 16-K game against the Padres a few years back, and I've been going back to the well ever since. It hasn't always worked, but it has lately. VV has a 2.84 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 9.9 K/9 rate over his last five starts. He's done that despite a few tough matchups, and this is certainly far from one of those. The Marlins currently rank 27th in K rate and dead-last in xwOBA. That's no surprise when you see that they're missing Starling Marte, making Velasquez one of the best plays on the board. Drew Smyly FD - P 7300 DK - SP 8400 Opponent - PIT (Wil Crowe) Park - ATL FD - 38.07 DK - 20.57 Smyly has been giving me frowns for a while now, but this dude has shown some serious potential in the past and at times this season. In his first four seasons, Smyly pitched to a 3.24 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, which is right on par with what he did in the shortened season last year. A couple of injury-riddled years killed his career numbers, and inconsistencies are the only thing holding him back this year. He's actually got at least 37 FanDuel points in three of his six starts which is an absurd number from a guy this cheap. The best part of this play is the matchup, though, with Pittsburgh ranked 24th in OBP, 29th in wOBA, and dead-last in wOBACON. Catcher/First Base Freddie Freeman FD - 1B 4100 DK - 1B 5200 Opponent - PIT (Wil Crowe) Park - ATL...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 5/13/21

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 5/13/21 Like most Thursdays, we have games spread throughout the day. We actually have a day slate that features five games, while the nightcap has six games on the docket. That means we're going to focus on the night slate beginning at 7ET, with many West Coast teams taking the field. That happens to be my specialty, though, so let's go ahead and get into it! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Cristian Javier FD - P 9200 DK - SP 10000 Opponent - TEX (Mike Foltynewicz) Park - HOU FD - 32.8 DK - 16.83 Javier doesn't pop up too high in our projection system, but he's still the best raw play on the board. We say that because he's been the best pitcher of this player pool and has one of the best matchups. Let's kick things off by talking about his opposition. The Rangers currently rank 20th in xwOBA and 23rd in K rate, posting some of the worst offensive numbers in MLB. That puts any pitcher in play against them, especially a guy like Javier. The right-hander has a 2.90 ERA and 1.00 WHIP for the season, striking out 38 batters across 31 innings of action. All of that has Javier and the Astros entering this matchup as a -200 favorite if you need any more incentive. Zach Plesac FD - P 8400 DK - RP 8300 Opponent - SEA (Logan Gilbert) Park - SEA FD - 40.74 DK - 21.69 Plesac had a terrible two-start stretch against the White Sox earlier in the season but has been practically unhittable aside from that. In fact, he's got a 1.31 ERA and 0.79 WHIP across his other six starts. That's the stud we saw throughout most of last season, and it makes this price tag pretty intriguing. That sort of form is even more enticing when you look at this matchup, though, with Seattle having one of the most pitcher-friendly ballparks in baseball. It's not like their lineup is any good either, ranked 26th in K rate, 28th in OPS, and dead-last in BA and OBP. That makes Plesac a near guarantee for a quality start, and that's all you can ask for from an $8K pitcher. Catcher/First Base Luke Voit FD - 1B 3000 DK - 1B 4800 Opponent - TB (Rich Hill) Park - TB FD - 11.57 DK - 8.65 This $3K price tag on FanDuel is laughable. Voit played at an MVP level...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 5/12/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 5/12/21 These Wednesday slates usually tend to be the largest of the week, but we have just six games here for some reason. That's good news for us, though, making things much easier to dissect. We also have many predictable teams in terms of rotations, and that's a blessing after that wild slate on Tuesday. There's a lot to discuss, though, so let's go ahead and get into it. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $12600 DK - $12400 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 54.21 DK - 57.66 These price tags are honestly crazy, but it's equally as crazy to fade Westbrook right now. We say that because he's a triple-double machine, recording one in five straight games. That looks good on the surface, but it's even more absurd when you see that he's got at least 80 DraftKings points in four of those. It doesn't matter what you pay; if you get 80 fantasy points from anyone, you tally up the dough. One of those happened to come against these Hawks, collecting 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 21 assists in that gem. That's really no surprise when you see that Atlanta owns a 25th OPRK against opposing PGs and that Washington is playing without Bradley Beal. Trae Young FD - $8500 DK - $9100 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 45.75 DK - 48.49 It's hard to understand this pricing. Young is one of the best players in fantasy, and he has one of the best matchups possible here. Let's start by talking about that, with the Wizards playing at the fastest pace in the NBA while surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. That's no surprise when you see that Trae has at least 54 fantasy points in their first two meetings. That's usually the production you'd see from an $11,000 player, and it's crazy that a guy this talented is sitting around $9K on both sites. If you can squeeze these two in with some value plays, you should be ahead of the pack as long as this game stays competitive. Don't forget about Raul Neto in this game with Beal out. Shooting Guard Eric...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 5/11/21 This slate is going to be wild. We have the Toronto Raptors, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Detroit Pistons all taking the floor. If you've been following the NBA closely, you know that means this slate is going to be chaotic. These teams are impossible to predict from night to night, but we're fortunate that they've announced a handful of players that will be sitting. That's actually going to be a major theme in this article, so let's go ahead and get into it! Point Guard Killian Hayes FD - $5200 DK - $5400 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 26.73 DK - 27.06 Let's kick things off with the Pistons! We really don't know what to expect from this team from night to night, but they've already ruled out Jerami Grant, Cory Joseph, Mason Plumlee, and Hamido Diallo for this game. That means Hayes should handle the ball on every possession and play somewhere between 30-40 minutes. He actually got a somewhat rare start in their most recent game, collecting 21 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists across 38 minutes of action. That's hard to overlook from a guy sitting around $5K, especially with Minnesota ranked 28th in total defense while surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. Malachi Flynn FD - $5000 DK - $5300 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 29.16 DK - 29.62 The Raptors have also treated us with an injury report, and it's definitely in Flynn's favor. They've already ruled out Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and Pascal Siakam, leaving Flynn with the starting point guard job. At the beginning of April, he actually had the same role, averaging 32 DraftKings points per game in a 10-game stretch in that expanded role. That's a pretty ridiculous total from a $5K player, and it could be even better here with all that usage and production out of the lineup. It's also going to guarantee him 30-plus minutes no matter what this game looks like, so blowout potential is not really a concern either. Ben Simmons has dropped to around $7K on both sites and could be a huge value at that price. Shooting Guard...
