FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 6/2/21 It's rare to get four-game slates at this point in the playoffs, but we get treated with one here. All of these games are absolutely critical, with Memphis, Washington, and New York fighting off elimination while Dallas and Los Angeles battle in a 2-2 series. That means everyone will be feeling it, and it should make for a wonderful night of basketball. There's a lot to discuss, though, so let's get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8500 DK - $8100 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 44.6 DK - 44.29 Simmons has been the talk of NBA Twitter with his ineptitude at the free-throw line, but it's overshadowing what's been a pretty good series for the Aussie guard. In fact, the 24-year-old is averaging 13.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in this series. That's led to him scoring at least 35 fantasy points in all four games, generating a 43-point average. That's an amazing total from a guy barely cracking $8K, and we have to believe he's going to do even more with Joel Embiid off the floor. We love that with Washington ranked dead-last in total defense in the regular season while playing at the fastest pace in the NBA. Derrick Rose FD - $7100 DK - $7300 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 40.44 DK - 40.72 The former MVP looked lost when he played with the Cleveland Cavaliers four years ago but has completely revived his career in New York. The reunion with Tom Thibideau has done Rose wonders, playing at least 38 minutes in three of the four games in this series. That's not uncommon for a Thibs player, leading to a 38-point average in this first-round. That might look like a flukey stretch on the surface, but he's averaging 31 fantasy points per game across the last two months as well. The simple fact is, he's the primary guard in New York right now and should be looking at 40 minutes again here with New York's back against the wall. The matchup is great, too, with Atlanta ranked 21st in total defense in the regular season. Luka...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 6/1/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 6/1/21 The last few days of the NBA playoffs have been ugly in terms of blowouts, but this slate should be special. This is arguably the most important ledger of games we've had all year, with two of the three games featuring a 2-2 series. The winner of Game 5 in these circumstances wins the series 86 percent of the time in NBA history, so it's obviously critical for all the teams involved. That should force these starters to play huge minutes, and we should see some monster performances from the superstars in our sport! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9600 DK - $8800 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 52.71 DK - 53.93 If you don't think Irving is motivated in this series, you should check out the postgame video of him at TD Garden. The former Boston guard had tumultuous times with the Celtics, and it clearly has him more motivated than ever. He dropped 64 DraftKings points in his last game against them, which is scary when you see his 48-point average in his seven meetings with them this year. That's all you can hope for from a $9K player, and he has to show up after that stomping statement he made in Game 4. It's not like Boston is a tough matchup right now anyway, owning the second-worst defensive rating in this postseason. Monte Morris FD - $4700 DK - $4500 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 22.34 DK - 22.49 Morris might be the Nuggets best all-around guard right now, stepping up with Jamal Murray and Will Barton out of the picture. That has led to MM playing at least 25 minutes in three straight games, generating a 25-point average in that span. That might not sound like much, but it's a tremendous total from a guy sitting well below $5K. The fact that Denver struggled so badly in Game 4 might mean that Morris gets more minutes here too, which is stellar news since Portland posted the second-worst defensive rating in the regular season. There are many studs that you need to fit into your lineup, and there might be no better pairing out...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 5/28/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 5/28/21 We're getting to the guts of these critical First-Round series, and it's been fascinating up to this point. The most shocking series has been the Dallas-Los Angeles one, with the Mavs carrying a 2-0 lead back home. That means that Game 3 should be highly contested, but it's not like the Atlanta-New York one won't be either. The Boston-Brooklyn matchup is the only real concern in terms of blowout potential, but there's still value in that game too. With that in mind, let's kick things off with two guys who have been linked together since they were drafted. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10500 DK - $11000 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 60.28 DK - 64.81 Doncic has developed into one of the best players in fantasy at the ripe age of 22, and he looks to be on a different planet in this series so far. In the first two games of this first-round, Luka is averaging 35 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. That has led to a 66.4 average on DraftKings, one of the highest totals in this postseason. While many people might be concerned about facing a tough defensive team like this, Luka has shown it really doesn't matter. In their five meetings this year, Doncic is averaging 64.7 fantasy points per game. Trae Young FD - $9000 DK - $8600 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 44.66 DK - 47.19 I was concerned with Trae facing this Knicks defense in this series, but he's made minced meat of them so far. Trae is averaging 31 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game in the first two games against them. That might look shocking when you see NY's elite defensive statistics, but it's far from surprising when you see that Young is posting a 49-point average in his five meetings with the Knicks this year. The simple fact is, he's handling the ball on every possession and is taking on even more shots and usage in these critical playoff games. As long as that continues, Trae should be a five-figure player on both sites. If you're looking...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 5/27/21

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 5/27/21 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB and NBA optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Thursday slates always tend to be lighter, and that's certainly the case here. We have six games making up this nightcap, with many West Coast teams taking the field. What I do love about this slate is all the value out there. It's clear that these DFS sites aren't reacting to hot stretches as quickly as they do in the NBA, leaving some of the pricing a bit soft. With that in mind, let's kick things off with a pitcher who has a ridiculous DraftKings price. Pitchers Stephen Strasburg FD - P 10000 DK - SP 8500 Opponent - CIN (Sonny Gray) Park - WSH FD - 38.15 DK - 20.67 As you probably know, DraftKings pricing is usually way stricter than FanDuel. That makes this Strasburg price all the more confusing, sitting $1,500 cheaper over there. We'd argue that he should be $10K on both sites because Stras is always a beast when he's healthy. We're talking about a guy with a 3.20 ERA and 1.09 WHIP for his career while generating a ridiculous 28 percent K rate. He showed some of that form in his first start off the IL, allowing one hit across 5.1 scoreless innings. It's not like Cincinnati is an easy matchup, but they're missing two of their potent lefties in Joey Votto and Mike Moustakas. That only adds to Strasburg's intrigue, with the Washington starter entering this matchup as a -150 favorite. Chris Flexen FD - P 5800 DK - SP 6200 Opponent - TEX (Kolby Allard) Park - SEA FD - 31.56 DK - 17.03 I watched this guy in the KBO last year (yes, I watched KBO during COVID times!), and I was really impressed with some of his stuff. That noble year with the Doosan Bears earned him a contract with the Mariners and then got him into this rotation. He actually had one of the worst starts of the year when he surrendered eight runs to the Padres in his last start but was pretty good before that. In fact, Flex had at least 19 FanDuel points in six of his first seven starts, pitching to a 3.46 ERA in that span. He actually has a 2.18 ERA at home this year, too, which is really no surprise when you see how spacious Safeco Field can be. The best part about using him here is the matchup, though, with Texas ranked 23rd in K...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 5/26/21 These NBA Playoffs have been unbelievable so far. We're not even to the elimination games, and it feels like every matchup is a must-win game. That's definitely the case here, with many of these teams trying to even these series'. There's a lot to discuss, though, so let's talk about one of the biggest heroes from the exciting Game 1 games. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9000 DK - $8500 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 47.14 DK - 51.31 Facing the Knicks is no easy matchup, but Trae was absolutely brilliant in their Game 1 victory. The former Oklahoma guard dropped 57 DraftKings in that wonderful performance, and it's really no surprise when you look at his splits. In four meetings with New York this year, Young is averaging 51 fantasy points per game. That's a brilliant total from a $9K player, and it's clear that he will lead the team in shot attempts, usage rate, and minutes played in this series. It also extends one of his best stretches of the year, scoring at least 54 fantasy points in four of his last six games as well. Ben Simmons FD - $8100 DK - $7300 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 43.46 DK - 43.15 Simmons is a tough guy to figure out in terms of DFS, but we absolutely adore him in a matchup like this. The biggest thing is the fact that Washington plays at the fastest pace in the NBA. That caters beautifully to a player like Sim, who happens to be one of the best athletes in our sport. That was on full display in Game 1, with Big Ben collecting 15 rebounds and 15 assists en route to 52 DraftKings points. Imagine how that could look if he had more than six points! In any case, we'll take the stat-stuffing abilities in such a tasty matchup, especially with Simmons sitting at just $7,300 on DK. If you have the salary, Russell Westbrook is hard to overlook with his triple-doubles averages. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $9500 DK - $8800 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 50.4 DK - 51.89 Beal...
