Pitchers Corbin Burnes FD - P 10400 DK - RP 9600 Opponent - BAL (John Means) Park - BAL FD - 42.92 DK - 24.11 Burnes won NL Cy Young last season and it's easy to understand why. The hard-throwing righty finished 2021 with a 2.43 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 12.6 K/9 rate. That's pretty much the guy we saw in 2020, and it's clear that he's taken the leap into ace territory. That's horrible news for Baltimore, with the Orioles ranked 26th in both runs scored and OBP while sitting 25th in xwOBA. The oddsmakers love this spot, too, making Burnes a -190 favorite in a game with a 7.5-run total. That means Baltimore is projected for just 3.5 runs, making Burnes the best play on the board. Zack Greinke FD - P 7300 DK - SP 5900 Opponent - STL (Jordan Hicks) Park - STL FD - 27.39 DK - 13.43 This might be an unpopular play, but Greinke is just too cheap. This guy has churned out quality starts for over a decade now and kicked off the season with 5.1 one-run innings in his Royals debut. That's the guy we've become accustomed to throughout Greinke's career, generating a 3.18 ERA and 1.11 WHIP dating back to 2009. He's fallen off a bit, but a 3.39 ERA and 1.08 WHIP since 2017 is nothing to scoff at. Facing the Cardinals sounds like a tough matchup on the surface, but St. Louis sat 20th in runs scored and 19th in xwOBACON last season. If he can just battle through the tough top half of this order, Greinke should cruise through the bottom half and provide the minimum quality start we need from a player this cheap. Kyle Hendricks (FD $8100, DK $6600) is a quality start machine and should pick another one up against Pittsburgh's 29th-ranked offense. Catcher/First Base Matt Olson FD - 1B 3900 DK - 1B 5300 Opponent - WSH (Josiah Gray) Park - ATL FD - 14.67 DK - 10.92 Olson opened some eyes when he signed that massive deal with the Braves, but he's earned every bit of it with his pristine power. The southpaw slugger generated a .371 OBP, .540 SLG, and .911...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Sunday, 4/10/22

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Sunday, 4/10/22 The opening weekend featured some fascinating results, and it's interesting to see how these lineups are playing out. I'll be covering Sunday slates from here on out, and these are some of the most exciting cards out there. It always features all 30 teams, with most of the games being played during the day. It also features some bizarre lineups, because this is the day coaches love to rest players. We likely won't see much of that here in the opening week, but it's something you need to watch as the season progresses! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Hyun Jin Ryu FD - P 8000 DK - SP 9200 Opponent - TEX (Martin Perez) Park - TOR FD - 36.49 DK - 19.06 Toronto is actually my World Series pick, and this article will emphasize why. Ryu will have to be a focal piece of that run, being the veteran pitcher for this volatile rotation. The crafty lefty has a 3.00 ERA and 1.10 WHIP since 2018. He's coming off the worst season of his career, but a 3.22 ERA and 1.13 WHIP through July of last season shows that he still has the stuff to get it done. The main reason we love him here is this matchup, with Texas ranked 28th in both runs scored and xwOBA while sitting 30th in OBP and OPS. That has Ryu entering this matchup as a -250 favorite, the largest favorite on the slate. Steven Matz FD - P 7900 DK - SP 7100 Opponent - PIT (Bryse Wilson) Park - STL FD - 35.37 DK - 18.45 Matz isn't exactly the most exciting pitcher to use, but he's flashed moments of brilliance throughout his career. The southpaw had a 3.82 ERA in what was a bounceback 2021 season, posting a 3.42 ERA over his final 20 starts. That alone earned him a contract with the Cardinals, and this is a good ballpark for him to get going. The main reason we like him here is this matchup, with Pittsburgh ranked 28th in runs scored, 27th in xwOBA, and dead-last in runs scored last season. That has Matz and the Cards entering this game as a -210 favorite as well, making him one of the values of the day below $8K! Corey Kluber (FD $8300 DK $7400) enters his matchup as a -200 favorite against Baltimore and has shown Cy Young upside in the past. It's far...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 4/6/22

Posted by on Apr 6, 2022 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups, Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, DraftKings NBA Picks, FanDuel NBA Picks, featured |

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 4/6/22 This final week of the NBA season is wild. Did you see that OKC lineup last night? There were players starting in that game that I've never heard of, and I literally cover this sport as my job! That's going to be an issue from here on out because we have tons of teams tanking. This slate could be particularly frustrating, with seven teams in the second half of a back-to-back. That's over half of the teams on this slate, and it's undoubtedly going to lead to some unpredictable chaos. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11200 DK - $12000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 58.6 DK - 62.2 With so much inevitable mayhem on this slate, getting 60 guaranteed DraftKings points from Doncic is the way to go. Saying a guy is guaranteed for 60 fantasy points might sound outlandish, but this guy has a 62-point average over his last 24 games played. It's easy to understand why, flirting with a 40 percent usage rate since Kristaps Porzingis was traded away. He's also shown a 70-point upside on numerous occasions in that span, and we genuinely believe he can reach that here. We say that because he faces a Detroit defense that ranks 19th in points allowed and 23rd in defensive efficiency. In their one matchup earlier this season, Luka had 66 DK points if you needed any more incentive to use him. Ish Smith FD - $4400 DK - $4800 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 17.27 DK - 17.02 Ish has always been productive when given the opportunity, and it looks like he's the go-to point guard in Washington right now. It started when Bradley Beal got injured, but the Spencer Dinwiddie trade really opened things up. That's led to Smith playing at least 28 minutes in three straight games, scoring at least 22 DraftKings points in five consecutive outings. Those three most recent games have been tremendous, with Smith averaging 36 fantasy points per game in that span. Good luck finding that from another sub-$5K player, especially one that faces the 27th-ranked defense. Trae Young is an excellent play against a 24th-ranked Wizards defense. Shooting Guard DeMar...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 4/3/22

Posted by on Apr 3, 2022 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups, Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, DraftKings NBA Picks, FanDuel NBA Picks, featured |

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 4/3/22 We're down to just one week in the regular season. This is always one of the most chaotic times to play DFS, with bad teams tanking and good teams resting their best players. We have a ton of that going on here, with 12 games in total. That means we have a massive player pool to break down, but it also means we have a ton of value as well. With that in mind, let's kick things off with some point guards. Point Guard Dejounte Murray FD - $10300 DK - $11200 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 0 DK - 0 Tre Jones FD - $3700 DK - $4200 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 25.54 DK - 25.45 We absolutely love Dejonute if he can return here, but Jones would be a brilliant fill-in if he can't. Let's start by talking about Murray, with the All-Star averaging 21.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. That's led to Dejonute scoring at least 38 DraftKings points in 18 of his last 19 games. He's also averaging nearly 55 fantasy points per game in that span, making him a worthy option no matter the salary. Tre hasn't been quite as good, but he's been awesome when filling in. In fact, Jones has at least 27 DK points in six of his seven starts for Dejounte, posting a 32-point average in that span. That's ridiculous from a $4K player, and we love whoever starts at PG for this speedy San Antonio team. The matchup with Portland is the best part of this, though, with the Trail Blazers ranked 28th in points allowed and dead-last in defensive efficiency. Chris Paul FD - $8000 DK - $8200 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 42.2 DK - 43.3 Phoenix is choosing to rest some players here, but CP3 is not one of them. The Point God obviously wants to get some extra minutes with all the time he missed because of a hand issue, and it's going to have him running the offense here. The Suns have ruled out Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Jae Crowder, leaving CP3 with the offense in...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/30/22

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/30/22 This is my favorite time to play NBA DFS. There are numerous teams tanking and tons of strange rotations, but it caters beautifully to people who actually pay attention. We know that includes our readers because you guys are some of the best players in the industry. It's been one of my best weeks of the year, too, and I'm excited to keep that rolling here! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $10000 DK - $11000 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 54.62 DK - 59.11 Trae has quietly had a fantastic season in Atlanta, and he's going to have to do even more with John Collins and De'Andre Hunter expected to miss this game. He already had a usage rate north of 30 percent before that, and he's regularly taking 20 shots and 10 free throws a night. That's led to Trae scoring at least 27 fantasy points in every game this season, cracking 37 or more DK points in all but five outings. That's scary since he's got a 52-point average over his last 10 games, playing some of the best basketball of his career. We certainly don't anticipate Oklahoma City to slow him down, and we'll mention how bad their roster looks in the subsequent SG write-ups. Tyus Jones FD - $5800 DK - $5700 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 33.53 DK - 33.67 It's sad that Ja Morant is sidelined, but Tyus has been terrific when filling in for him this season. In his 20 starts for Morant, Jones is averaging 29 DK points per game across 30 minutes a night. He's been doing that damage despite the Grizzlies blowing teams out on a nightly basis, making him a good bet for 35-40 DK points if they finally have a game that stays close. We love that since San Antonio is playing really well right now, but they're really struggling on the defensive end. In fact, the Spurs sit third in pace and 24th in total defense while surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. Brandon Williams is the only player left in Portland and should be a silly season darling from here on...
