What We Know Marcus Morris will play tonight for Detroit It was announced yesterday that Morris will suit up for tonight's game against the Heat. We will wait and see if he starts, as Steve Van Gundy has said he plans on rotating starts between Morris and Tobias Harris. Monta Ellis is playing tonight for the Pacers. Ellis tweaked his ankle against the Bulls on Friday and was originally listed as questionable, but it does look as though he will give it a go tonight against the Magic. Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside, and Justise Winslow are all out. Justise Winslow will sit out tonight along with Goran Dragic who has missed two games already with back spasms and Hassan Whiteside, who was poked in the eye Friday against the Celtics. This will leave Miami severely limited with a lot of minutes to spread around. What We're Waiting to Know Kawhi Leonard is questionable against the Hawks. It's looking as though Kawhi is going to miss a third game due to illness. Kyle Anderson would likely draw the start and LaMarcus Aldridge would increase in value should Kawhi sit again. Damian Lillard is doubtful against the Timberwolves. Lillard has already missed three games due to a left ankle sprain and it's looking as though he will miss tonight's game against Minnesota. If he does sit, C.J. McCollum would be a great play moving over to starting PG as his usage increases an impressive 5.9% with Lillard out, Allen Crabbe, who would step in to start at the two, would be a nice tournament play. The "Every Lineup" Guys DeMar DeRozan DeMar is a player that can go overlooked sometimes from a DFS perspective. He's priced at a point that makes him hard to fit in with the Russes and Hardens of the world, and while he tends to be pretty safe, he doesn't always flash the upside that the others do. Tonight, we...

The Thunder have confirmed that Oladipo will return from the wrist injury that has kept him sidelined for most of the month. We are still waiting to hear if he will be starting, but should that be the case Jerami Grant and Anthony Morrow will return to the bench and DFS obscurity. In addition, Enes Kanter may see a reduction in minutes as he was averaging 29 per game with Oladipo out. What We're Waiting to Know Kyrie Irving is questionable, will be a game time decision Kyrie will be a true game time decision tonight against Charlotte as the Cavs medical staff continue to monitor the right hamstring he injured against the Celtics Thursday. The injury doesn't seem serious, but there is real possibility they hold him out as a precaution. Watch this one close and if Kyrie does miss look for Kevin Love to push near must play status. Chris Paul is questionable against the Thunder Paul is expected to miss another game due to that strained left hamstring. Should he sit, Austin Rivers would most likely draw the start and makes a fine value play at PG with a 24.3% usage rate when Paul and Blake Griffin are off the court this season. The "Every Lineup" Guys LeBron James The Cavaliers and the Hornets kick off the main slate tonight in a game that has the highest projected scoring without any real fear of blow out. At the heart of it all is King James. Look for James to be the play in cash games tonight. I'm expecting a small contingent who were burned by Westbrook's last outing to play the fade there, coupled with LeBron being the bargain priced of tonight's elite plays, but having just as much upside as the others. In games decided by 10 points or less in December LeBron ran the court for 44 minutes. For a player who...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Reggie Jackson FD - $5500 DK - $5400 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 28.5 DK - 30.48 Jackson came back from Tendonitis in his left knee at a slow crawl, but once he found his groove he really bounced back into form. This same knee caused him to leave the game against Memphis last week temporarily but once he returned he finished out an 18 point and 7 assist performance barely missing a step. He followed that up with a similar stat line against the Warriors so I don't think there's much cause for concern there. Monday night Detroit plays host to the Cavaliers who are very generous to opposing PGs. While Kyrie may come in riding high on Cleveland's dramatic Christmas win over Golden State, his defensive indifference will give RJ the chance to fill the stat line. Kemba Walker FD - $8000 DK - $8100 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 40.56 DK - 43.02 Walker has had a bit of a roller coaster of a month, but he seems poised to finish December on the rise. He reached double digit assists in two of his last three games, against the lackluster defenses of the Lakers and Hawks. Tonight he draws the absolute worst defense against the position in the form of the Nets. As long as he gets his full compliment of minutes, I wouldn't rule out a triple double for Kemba tonight. A great cash game play. Chris Paul FD - $9500 DK - $9400 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 45.64 DK - 48.21 As I was beginning to write these picks, I got the alert on my phone that Paul was starting the Christmas nightcap against the Lakers. A couple picks written up later, the alert comes that he is sitting out yet again. So, of course we want to watch this one closely. Clearly the Clippers want to get a healthy CP3 back on the court, as with Blake Griffin out recovering from knee surgery this is Paul's time to shine. Last season he was a beast when Blake wasn't in the game, and if he is cleared to play tonight look for him to carry the Clippers on his back against...

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 12/25/16 Christmas Day

Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 12/25/16 Christmas Day Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Kristaps Porzingis is probable against the Celtics. A bruised knee was enough to knock Zinger out of Thursdays win over the Magic, but he has had several days to rest and is fully expected to go today against Boston. What We're Waiting to Know Chris Paul is questionable tonight against the Lakers. A strained hamstring kept him out Friday against Dallas. Austin Rivers and Raymond Felton become attractive plays if he does sit, but with this being the last game of the day we may not know anything in time to suit our needs. Victor Oladipo is questionable tonight against the Wolves He has missed most of December with that wrist issue and it looks as though he will most likely not suit up for tonight's game against the Timberwolves. Anthony Morrow should get the starting nod making for an attractive match up for Zach Lavine The "Every Lineup" Guys Rajon Rondo If you want a player who has the ability to fill up a stat sheet like it's hanging by the chimney with care, then Rondo is your guy. The Bulls as a whole have been less than impressive this year, Rajon included but this has brought his price to a point hard to resist. The minutes are relatively safe and when he is on his game he has no problem contributing in all facets. Going in to San Antonio, who are about average against opposing guards and matching up with Tony Parker presents us with potential upside making Rondo a value play that should bring to all a good night. Al Horford As we finish unwrapping our presents we find a nice little surprise under the tree, the NBA slate kicks off with the game Vegas views as the closest on the day, fairly high scoring, between 2 fast paced teams. At the center of this matchup (pun absolutely intended) is one Al Horford. Horford's been seeing consistent...

Bayless had surgery on his left wrist and will miss the remainder of the season. This will most likely move Sergio Rodriguez to the Sixers starting 5 with a boost in minutes. What We're Waiting to Know Whats going on in New Orleans? This is the big one. Anthony Davis, Solomon Hill, and Dante Cunningham are all questionable for the last game of the night and this one could seriously impact the way we construct all of our lineups. Tim Frazier is also listed as probable for this one. Now the good news is the 7:00 start is only an hour after lock, so hopefully we get some idea of how things will shake out, otherwise We're throwing darts in the dark. Tyler Johnson and Wayne Ellington are questionable. Johnson and Ellington are questionable against the Celtics tonight. With Dion Waiters still out, if these two should sit, Goran Dragic becomes a fantastic play in any format as he sees a 4% bump in usage this season when those three are out. The "Every Lineup" Guys Kawhi Leonard Should the aforementioned situation in New Orleans go the way of key players such as Anthony Davis missing the game, then this may be more suited as a tournament play. If we know the Pelicans are full strength, Davis especially, then this will be a much more competitive contest and Kawhi should have no problem getting his full compliment of minutes and putting up a 40burger with ease. Joel Embiid They say in Philly to "Trust the process" and I have no problem doing just that. I honestly consider Joel's minute restriction to be a blessing to DFS players. It's because of said restriction his price stays so low, but what you get for that price is a player capable of putting up numbers of a player priced $2k more. I get excited thinking of the things...
