Nikola Jokic remains a game time decision. Gallinari amd Arthur are both set to play tonight against the Clippers. Arthur will have his minutes watched, returning from a 4 game absence with a knee injury, Gallinari should get his full run after his ankle kept him out for one game. Gallinari makes for an intriguing option against a hurting Clippers squad. Ryan Anderson is out against the Grizzlies. Anderson missed two of the previous three games due to an illness that will sideline him once again tonight. James Harden and Eric Gordon both see a usage bump over 3.6% when Anderson is out, and while the Memphis match up will keep me cautious using those guys in cash, they could be beneficial in a tournament lineup. Joel Embiid is out tonight against the Hawks Embiid tweaked his knee last night against Portland, but would most likely have been rested on the second game of a back to back anyway. Jahlil Okafor should get the start with Nerlens Noel locked in to his role coming off the bench. Avery Bradley remains out against Portland Bradley's achilles will most likely keep him sidelined for another game, providing Marcus Smart with another start. What We're Waiting to Know Kevin Love is questionable against the Spurs. Love participated in Saturdays shoot around after missing Thursdays game with a sore lower back. If he misses tonight, look for Channing Frye to get the start at PF and Kyrie Irving, who sees a 7.3% usage bump without Love would become a strong PG play even against the Spurs tough defense. Jon Leuer is probable tonight against the Wizards Leuer has been upgraded to probable after missing 5 games with a bruised right knee. I would avoid Tobias Harris, even if he does get the start with Leuer coming off the bench, though if for some reason Leuer does miss another...

Point Guard Kemba Walker FD - $7900 DK - $8000Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 43.87 DK - 46.62 Kemba Walker gets us started tonight, and while he may not be the splashiest name going this evening, he's an upper-mid tier priced player that offers consistency, which of course provides safety. The minutes seem to be well locked in at the mid to upper 30 range. Over his last 5 outings, he's averaging 21.4 points, and while he tends to disappear on defense, he's good for 3.4 boards and 4.6 dimes per game. Tonight he draws the prime DFS match up of the Brooklyn Nets. I anticipate good things for Walker tonight. Eric Bledsoe FD - $8300 DK - $8500Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 40.65 DK - 43.55 Eric Bledsoe could be on pace to have a career year if he stays healthy. Over his last 4 games he's averaging 20.25 points, 6.75 rebounds, and 8.25 assists. His salary is nearing it's season high, but he's still paying 5x if he keeps playing at this current clip. The Knicks are a league average match up for opposing point guards and this is one of the highest scoring affairs of the evening and should stay competitive enough to get Bledsoe his full compliment of minutes and opportunities. Run him in cash with confidence. Raymond Felton FD - $4600 DK - $5700Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 28 DK - 29.87 Austin Rivers FD - $5400 DK - $5900Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 28.53 DK - 30.41 The price is on the rise for both of these guys, but I think we still have a long way to go before we have to question if it's worth running them out there in our lineups. The Clippers are in a bad spot with Blake and CP3 out for the next few weeks. Look for these two to benefit greatly from that situation and take full advantage. Felton dropped 10 points on Thursday against Minnesota while picking up 4 rebounds and dishing out 8 assists. Rivers dropped 20 in 36 minutes. While either guy can be used in cash depending on your spending needs, I like Felton as having a little more upside in tournaments, while coming...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/17/17 Tuesday in the NBA! After a long Martin Luther King Jr. day full of hoops we settle in to a cozy little 5 game slate tonight. Lets get to the picks! Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $9000 DK - $8600Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 44.38 DK - 47.68 Kyle Lowry and the Raptors head to Brooklyn today to take on the Nets. Lowry, like most of his fellow starters saw his minutes cut on Sunday against the Knicks going in to the fourth with a 34 point lead. Vegas has this as one of the largest spreads on the night. However with only 5 games to choose from and given how poor the Nets are on defense, coupled with their league leading pace factor, I'm not overly concerned. Lowry found his shot again on Sunday sinking 5 of 6 from beyond the arc to help him to a 16 point total to pair with 4 rebounds and 9 assists. If the Nets stay competitive Lowry has decent upside, but even if it gets out of hand he should easily pay value before it reaches that point. Emmanuel Mudiay FD - $4500 DK - $4900Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 22.21 DK - 24.32 The recurring theme of the day is going to be Raptors and Nuggets. The difference being there's little concern of blowout in this one. Vegas has this game at a 1.5 spread with the highest over/under of the evening. Throw in 2 top 6 paced teams and we have a DFS dream. While he started the new year out at a slow crawl, Mudiay has really turned it up in the last few games, yesterday he picked up a career-high 13 assists, and the 18 points he combined with them were more than the previous 3 games combined. While the Lakers come in to the game with a similar ranked defense against opposing point guards, I'm not expecting him to duplicate yesterdays performance, but even if he provides half that production he will easily pay value. If that's what we're looking at as a ceiling, then he makes a great play across all formats. Goran Dragic FD - $6700 DK - $6800Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 31.81 DK -...

If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Isaiah Whitehead is probable against the Rockets. Whitehead is expected to return to action tonight against Houston after missing Thursdays game with a left knee sprain. If he does indeed go look for him to start sending Spencer Dinwiddle back to the bench. With Jeremy Lin still out, Whitehead should see a good run of minutes but would really only be serviceable as a separation punt in a large tournament. Dwyane Wade is out against Memphis. Wade has been on a hot streak lately, but the Bulls are being careful not to overwork him, giving him the night off for the second game of the back to back again, just as they did against the Wizards earlier in the week. Kristaps Porzingis does not expect to play against The Raptors today. Porzingis is listed as a game time decision, but indicated yesterday that he did not expect to go today in Toronto as he is still dealing with his achilles injury. Lance Thomas would likely draw the start in his absence. What We're Waiting to Know Zach Lavine is questionable against the Mavericks. LaVines hip has kept him out of 2 games already, and the Timberwolves will evaluate him today to determine if he can go against Dallas. If he misses again Brandon Rush would get the start at the 2. The "Every Lineup" Guys James Harden Two of the top 5 teams in pace factor meet up tonight in Brooklyn. This means James Harden will get a lot of looks against a Nets team that just doesn't play defense. It's very rare that I will give an argument for fading Russell Westbrook, but you're getting Harden for close to a thousand dollars less with a much higher floor. Austyn forecasted a triple double in the first half and I completely see that as a possibility. If anyone can do it, It's Harden, if any team would allow it, it's the Nets....

If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Jimmy Butler will play against the Pelicans. Butler will return from illness tonight to face New Orleans. He will have his minutes monitored, so it's probably best to avoid the situation until we see how he is feeling. What We're Waiting to Know Evan Fournier and Serge Ibaka are questionable tonight against the Jazz Ibaka returned last night after missing Wednesdays game vs the Clippers due to his shoulder injury. The questionable designation could just be the Magic being careful not to overwork him, and let him rest the second game of the back to back. Fournier sustained some type of injury to his foot last night and will be evaluated closer to game time. Of the two, I'd consider Fournier to be more likely, but be cautious if adding either to your lineup. Anthony Davis is questionable against the Bulls. We're still waiting on an official word on this situation. With this being the first game of the main slate, hopefully it comes through soon. Davis missed Thursday with a sore hip and the Pelicans obviously want to be cautious with the situation. If Davis does play, Terrence Jones would return to the bench. The "Every Lineup" Guys Dwayne Wade As I said in the picks write up, Even if Jimmy Butler does go, I'm still loving Wade as a great play at SG. Buckets will play but his minutes will be watched, with that in mind, I could see considering Wade in tournament line ups, but on this short slate he is a must have in cash games. DW is coming in well rested and seems to have caught lightning in a bottle over the last few games. Gordon Hayward For the slower paced Jazz, Gordon Hayward is a player you can lock in regardless of the match up and feel pretty confident about getting your value. Even better when the match up is against an Orlando Magic team that...
