Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/14/17
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/14/17 There is a huge winter storm rolling through the east coast today. This could have an impact on the Thunder/Nets game and Pacers/Knicks game both in New York. It could potentially impact the Pistons/Cavaliers game in Cleveland too, but I don't think theyre expecting quite as much snow out there. If these games are postponed players from the games will receive 0 points if selected. Keep an eye on the forecast, check our update article out later today, and pop in the chat room for the latest on the weather and any potential postponements. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $13400 DK - $13400Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 65.21 DK - 69.34 82 games. Barring injury or suspension, that's how many games Russell Westbrook will play in the regular season, and he probably appears in this spot around sixty or so conservatively. How many different ways are there to say play this guy? He's a scoring machine (at least 45 points in 5 of his last 8 outings), a triple double threat (2 straight, 6 in his last ten), and even at this insane price he has crushed value in three of his last 5. Tonight OKC travels into Brooklyn and we all know what that means. Two of the top seven teams in pace factor, and Brooklyn is a defensive punching bag. Particularly at point guard. You could attempt the fade in tournaments if you want to live dangerously, and there are other ways to pay up, which we will touch on shortly, but back to my original question, I'm not sure how many ways there are to say it, so I'll just put it bluntly. Play this guy. Damian Lillard FD - $8800 DK - $8800Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 44.23 DK - 47.59 Damian Lillard has been playing on a whole new level since the All Star break, as evidenced by his price. He's averaging nearly $400 more per game since the break than leading in to it and for the most part has been well worth it. Sunday night in Phoenix he lit the Suns up for 39 points with 4 threes, and a perfect 9-9 at the line after dropping 33 against Washington the night before. The addition...

BroLo missed fridays game with an ankle sprain, but seems to be geared up to return to action for tonight's tilt with the Knicks. This would send Justin Hamilton and Andrew Nicholson back to obscurity. Gerald Henderson expects to play tonight for the Sixers. Philly is being cautious whit Henderson and his surgically repaired hip, they sat him out yesterday against the Clippers, but he should see some action on the Staples Center floor tonight against the Lakers. Timothe Luwawu would retun to the bench and Nik Stauskas would see his usage dip some. What We're Waiting to Know Alex Len is a game time decision for the Suns Len sat out last night with a hip injury. It's unclear how serious the injury is, but regardless of who draws the start at center, Alan Williams, remains the best money play in Phoenix. See below for more. Goran Dragic is uncertain tonight for the Heat. Dragic traveled with the team to Indiana, but it is unclear if he will be able to play tonight due to a right orbital contusion suffered last night against the Raptors. Look for the Dragon to be a game time decision as Miami waits to see how he looks during pre game warm ups. Kyle Korver is a game time decision for the Cavaliers tonight. Korver sat out Thursdays contest against the Pistons, but is traveling with the team so depending how his foot feels, he could potentially see some action tonight in Houston. If he is able to play, it could cut in to Iman Shumpert and DeAndre Liggins workload. The "Every Lineup" Guys Carmelo Anthony We preach it time and again, target the Nets. Tonight is no different. The Knicks head in to Brooklyn tonight to face the Nets in a fast paced competitive contest. Vegas has this one pegged with a 220.5 over/under and because the...

What We Know The Spurs and Warriors are in a battle of the benches tonight. Coach Kerr wants to give his big guns some rest, sitting Steph, Klay, Draymond, and Andre gives them three days rest until their next game on Tuesday night. With Kevin Durant already out, the Warriors are down to nine active players. Shaun Livingston, Matt Barnes and Kevon Looney should all most likely find themselves starting. On the other end the Spurs were already coming in missing Kawhi, then this morning announced LaMarcus Aldridge will be out indefinitely with a heart arrhythmia, while Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray will sit tonight with various ailments. Though the starters have not yet been announced, Pau Gasol, David Lee, Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills all become much more intriguing plays tonight for San Antonio. Also worth noting, Kyle Anderson is available for the Spurs as well, and could potentially draw the start for Leonard at SF. Nerlens Noel is out for Dallas tonight, J.J. Barea expect to play. Barea playing is really just worth noting, without much fantasy impact. Noel however will miss his second consecutive contest with a sore left knee. With the Mavs on a back to back, it's conceivable that Dirk could sit this one out as well, or even be limited, in which case Dwight Powell and to a lesser extent Salah Mejri could see increased playing time. Dwight Howard will rest tonight for the Hawks. With tonight being the Hawks fifth game in seven nights, they will sit out Dwight Howard tonight to rest. Mike Muscala or Ersan Ilyasova could draw the start in his place. Ilyasova, who has preformed well for the Hawks since coming over from Philly could prove to be a sneaky tournament option if he starts even in a tough match up against the Grizzlies. Nikola Vucevic will start for the Magic tonight. The Magic have announced Vucevic will start tonight after missing 4 games...
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/11/17
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/11/17 It's Saturday in the NBA and there is a lot to consider. There's a three game early slate tipping off at 3PM, then at 7 we get to the main slate. One we thought would be highlighted by a clash of the Western Titans with the Warriors going in to San Antonio to take on the Spurs. First word comes that Kawhi Leonard has a concussion and will miss the game, then the Warriors, already missing Kevin Durant announce that they will sit Steph, Klay, Dray and Iggy. While many of these picks you'll see below were determined by our system prior to the Golden State news breaking, they are all still in play. Meanwhile we will continue to update our projections with all news as it breaks, and look out for our update article later today which will have all the latest announcements and top plays. Point Guard Kemba Walker FD - $8400 DK - $8100Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 41.84 DK - 44.63 Charlotte's chances of making the post season are looking a little bleak but Kemba Walker is going down swinging. The Hornets point guard is out there every night running all facets of the game and over the past few weeks has been paying dividends to those who roster him in daily fantasy. Last night not withstanding (he only saw 24 minutes in a 40 point blowout of the Magic) Walker has been one of the most consistent names in daily fantasy these past few weeks, paying value in 8 of his last ten prior to the Magic game, seeing an average of 38.3 minutes in that span. Tonight Charlotte hosts the Pelicans who are a bottom 5 defense at point guard allowing 7% more points, 9% more rebounds and 9% more assists than league average to the position. This game has a mere 2 point spread according to our friends in Vegas, so as long as it doesn't get out of hand, Walker should return to his usual value paying self. Elfrid Payton FD - $7000 DK - $7000Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 35.78 DK - 37.58 Elfrid Payton came back down to earth a little last night in a blow out loss to the Hornets, but he...
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/7/17
Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/7/17 It's a condensed version of NBA daily fantasy tonight. After last night's monster 12 game slate which then became an 11 game slate (what is it with postponements in the NBA this season?) we go super small with just three contests tonight. We still have our fair share of superstars and value plays to work through and for those of you that think late breaking news is for suckers, Draftkings is running another "early lock" slate, so have them picks ready by 4EST. Speaking of picks, rather than go position by position, we're going to break down each game, determine the best offenses to target and defenses to pick on, and the top names as determined by our world famous projection system. So let's get to it shall we? Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! We've got you completely covered. Portland Trailblazers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Thanks to another "slippery court conditions" incident, the Trailblazers contest with the Timberwolves in Minnesota last night was postponed. This gives us six fresh teams as Portland was the only one scheduled on a back to back tonight. The Blazers head in to OKC as the number 9 seed in the west needing every win they can get particularly against a team like the Thunder sitting just a few games ahead of them in the seven spot. Last Thursday in Portland they managed to just barely squeeze out a win over the Thunder in a 114-109 game due to a strong fourth quarter performance. Tonight they're in enemy territory however and Russell Westbrook FD:61.63/DK:65.51 and company have only lost 8 games at home this season to date. Speaking of Russ, Mr. Westbrook comes in to this evening to no ones surprise with the top overall projected points according to our projection system. Russ had an off night so to speak against Dallas on Sunday, picking up a technical foul and a flagrant foul all while being dogged by the Mavs on defense and receiving little support from his offense. Look for him to bounce back tonight against the fourth worst defense in the NBA. Another target from OKC comes in the form of Taj Gibson FD: 26.36/DK: 27.44, who despite coming in off the bench since being dealt to OKC, has seen an ever increasing role with his new...
