Pitchers Jake Arrieta FD 10600 DK Opponent - PIT (Glasnow) Park - @CHCFD - 36.73 DK - 24.08 We spotlight Chris Sale and Corey Kluber in the picks article, but we very well could have added Jake Arrieta as well, as he's an excellent cash game play and also has plenty of upside. Arrieta comes in today as the pitcher most likely to walk away with a win. He's opposed by the Pirates Tyler Glasnow who will most likely be manhandled by the Cubs offense and see an early exit, providing Arrieta with an early comfortable lead. Arrieta was sharp his last time out against the Brewers, only running in to trouble in the third when he gave up a three run shot to Ryan Braun, accounting for the only runs the Brewers would score. That shot aside he dominated allowing only three hits and 2 walks while striking out ten in 7 innnings. This was Arrietas second consecutive start, after going six shut out frames against the Cardinals to open the season. If you need some salary relief from Sale with equal safety and upside, then look to the Cubs and their right handed ace. Kenta Maeda FD 8600 DK Opponent - ARI (Corbin) Park - @LADFD - 33.81 DK - 0 Two starts in to the season and Kenta Maeda is showing no regression form last season. He's 1-0 with the loss coming in Coors where he was hurt by the long ball early on and then gave up a few more runs before being pulled after 5. The K's aren't coming quite as easily early on this season, but he's still managing to average around 1 per inning, though I expect that to improve as the season goes on. Today he's back in his home park hosting the Diamondbacks. Arizona as a team sported a 3.13 wOBA against right handed arms last season, and though they hit an impressive 130 homers against righties, the majority of those came in their very hitter friendly park, with just a little over a third of them coming on the road. We've got you completely covered. Chicago Cubs Our first stack is one I alluded to during the picks write up for today, with several specific player profiles. The Cubbies are hosting the Pirates this weekend who will send Tyler Glasnow to the hill today. We don't have a large sample size of Glasnow to work with, but what we've seen tells us he is worth targeting with the world champion Cubs offense. He pitched a mere 1.2 innings against the Reds on Monday, allowing 5 runs on 4 hits. He put 9 of the 14 hitters he faced on base and only 35 of the 64 pitches he threw were strikes. The players we spotlighted in the picks were Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, and Ben Zobrist but you can look top to bottom at this offense for ways to differentiate your stack. Anthony Rizzo, Jason Heyward, and Wilson Contreras are all in consideration, regardless of their order in the lineup as I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cubs work through the order several times early on against the Pirates righty. San Francisco Giants Next up we pick on another guy named Tyler. Tyler Chatwood of the Rockies will take the mound in San Francisco against the Giants. This stack isn't as sure a shot as the Cubbies, as this game takes place in San Francisco and not at Coors Field, but the Giants are being given an implied total of 4.2 runs from Vegas and Chatwood is on a level not far from Glasnow. He's certainly off to a better 2017 campaign, at least making it through 5 innings in each of his first two starts, giving up 4 runs in each. Last season he sported a 4.37 xFIP, and was slightly worse on the road with a 4.40 xFIP. He allowed 15 Home Runs, pretty respectable for a guy that calls Coors home, but he didn't discriminate, giving up 8 to left handed batters and 7 to right handed. The long ball may not be a problem in spacious AT&T Park, but that shouldn't stop the Giants from beating up on him....

We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Chris Sale FD 11500 DK 11500 Opponent - TB (Odorizzi) Park - @BOS FD - 41.87 DK - 27.58 Tampa is in Fenway this weekend and today they will face the not so pleasant task of going up against Chris Sale on the mound. Sale has been quite impressive in two starts with Boston, giving up 8 hits and fanning 18 in 14.2 innings. The Rays as a team had the third worst K% in the majors last season, and are holding true so far in 2017 with a 27.9% through their first ten games. This bodes well for Sale who sported a 10.43 k/9 last season with the other Sox. The Rays are projected at 3.3 runs which may be generous. Boston has been slow to give Sale much in the way of run support so far this season, but if they can scrape together a few runs today, Sale should see his first W with Boston, and is a sure bet to strike out at least 8 hitters making him about as sure a play in cash games as you'll find anywhere on the slate. He'll eat a hefty little chunk of your salary, but there are plenty of nice spots to save up on bats today to make that happen. Corey Kluber FD 10000 DK 10200 Opponent - DET (Verlander) Park - @CLE FD - 38.14 DK - 25.1 Another guy still looking for his first win of the 2017 season is Corey Kluber. Kluber had a shaky start to the season against the Rangers when he gave up 5 earned runs on 6 hits in 6 innings, but a blister on his finger was pointed to as a probable cause for that. His next time out against the Diamondbacks, he looked better posting a quality start holding Arizona to 3 runs (2 earned) with most of his trouble all coming in the fourth inning when he gave up three straight singles, leading to two runs, then was pulled in the sixth after yielding a solo shot. Kluber will have his work cut out for him, as on the other side of this contest is Tigers ace Justin Verlander, so he will have to keep the Detroit offense in...

We've got you completely covered. Point Guards Russell Westbrook FD - $13900 DK - $13900Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 62.24 DK - 66.81 At this point what is there left to say about Russell Westbrook? He's about as sure a shot for MVP as there has been in recent years, he broke a 55 year old record for triple doubles in a season on Sunday against a Nuggets back court that had no place being in the same arena, and it was their arena. The price, as insane as it may look, is not as outrageous as it may seem at first glance, when you consider that tonight, like last night there will be so many value plays popping up (keep on reading if you doubt me) the sites are completely justifiable in setting it at this unprecedented level. He's Russell Westbrook. He's on another level. This is his game, all we can do is sit back and watch the fantasy points accumulate. Jamal Murray FD - $4600 DK - $5500Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 26.05 DK - 28.84 Speaking of Westbrook's historic game. Nobody had a better view of it than Jamal Murray. Perhaps he was just awestruck in that game, because in the 4 of the past 5 games that he started for Jameer Nelson, this was the worst outing yet. Two days earlier against the Pelicans he exploded for 30 points in 38 minutes, Sunday against OKC, a mere 6 in 36. Dallas has been a nightmare for opposing point guards this season, but the Nuggets will most likely have to run Murray out there tonight until his legs fall off, so he will have ample time to pay value. Brian Roberts FD - $3500 DK - $3000Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 18.58 DK - 19.8 That value I mentioned while rationalizing playing Russ at a near 14K price tag, it begins right here with Brian Roberts. Roberts got the start for Kemba Walker who is done for the season Monday night, and I am writing this too early to reflect on what he did, in what marks his first start of the season, but if he impresses, and the Hornets run him back out with the starting unit again tonight, then he comes...

We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Jameer Nelson, Kenneth Faried are out against the Thunder. Will Barton and Emmanuel Mudiay will play. Nelson will miss his fourth game in the last 5 as he tries to recover from a strained calf. Jamal Murray should draw another start in his place. Faried is suffering from a lower back issue and has been ruled out as well. Barton and Mudiay, who were both uncertain will play tonight. While this may limit Murrays upside, he still is an excellent play across the board. Harrison Barnes and J.J. Barea will rest against the Suns. The Mavs will hold Barnes out for rest purposes today against Phoenix having already been eliminated from the postseason. Dorian Finney-Smith and Nicolas Brussino should both see added minutes, but are really only considerable in a large tournament if at all. The Kings will rest Darren Collison, Kosta Koufos, Arron Afflalo & Tyreke Evans tonight. The Kings will continue to rest players, allowing Collison, Koufos, Afflalo, and Evans to all sit out tonight as they continue to evaluate their younger players. Expect Ty Lawson and Ben McLemore to start and be in play as viable options for lineups. Zach Randolph is out for the Grizzlies. ZBo will be rested for tonight's game against the Pistons, Mike Conley and Marc Gasol could both see increased usage as long as they remain in the starting five. What We're Waiting to Know Andre Roberson is a game time decision for the Thunder. Roberson was ruled out of Fridays tilt with the Suns with a sore knee, the first game he missed all season. If he needs another day to recover, Doug McDermott should be called on to start in his place again. The "Every Lineup" Guys Skal Labissiere The Kings are sitting their veterans down the stretch to see what they have in their young future. They have to like what they've been seeing from Skal Labissiere. In the last four...
