We've got you completely covered. Point guard Jrue Holiday FD - $7400 DK - $6900Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 42.07 DK - 42.09 We've got eight games tipping off tonight in the Association, and no ridiculously high scoring projections coming from the good folks in Vegas, though they're not releasing anything on this game yet as we're still unsure of the status of one Anthony Davis, and that will of course impact the projections here. It will also impact the production of Jrue Holiday. Jrue stepped in and led the offense on Thursday against Sacramento dropping 20 points, and going 7-13 from the field. Holiday struggled to score early on and has improved each time out, while maintaining steady assist numbers and snagging an average of five boards per game. Davis has gone from doubtful on Thursday to questionable for tonight, and it seems the plan is to test the knee out prior to gametime. If Davis plays, Holiday will definitely take a hit but remains a solid cash game play, I'll consider him for tournaments only if AD remains sidelined for another tilt. Damian Lillard FD - $9300 DK - $8800Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 47.21 DK - 49.21 The Phoenix Suns head into Portland tonight and this is great news for Damian Lillard. Lillard has been off to say the least to start the season, shooting just 37.9% from the field and struggling to get things going. Enter, the Suns with their third fastest pace of play and fourth ranked defense against opposing point guards. If Lillard's going to get things on track, tonight presents the perfect opportunity to do just that. The Suns are a mess in the backcourt, with Eric Bledsoe taking to Twitter to request a trade (how did we get anything done before twitter?), and the Suns ultimately deciding to bench him until they're able to deliver on the request once they can find the right deal. In the interim they've thrown Mike James into the starting five and though he's looked good defensively he hasn't faced an opponent of Lillard's caliber either. This game has the highest projected total on the night at 217 and does come with some blowout risk, however all thing's considered I like Lillard as...

Point guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9100 DK - $8700Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 41.77 DK - 43.09 You're going to see a lot of the same teams being targeted throughout today, as we go position by position looking for the weaker defenses on teams that run a fast pace, and while we have a limited sample size, trends are emerging through the first few games showing us just who those teams are. The Knicks are not one of those teams. They aren't playing at a fast pace, but they have shown to be rather poor on the defensive side of the ball. This makes for a good matchup for Kyrie Irving. Irving is still trying to fit himself in on his new team in Boston, but with several injuries in the early going, the Celtics have shown they're quite content relying on the former Cav to lead the offense. He's run 35 minutes or more through the first three games this season scoring over 20 twice, averaging 4.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. The Knicks have nobody capable of keeping pace with Irving and he should eat up the New York back court. Until he rounds out his game and starts building on the peripeherals I don't see much upside, but for the shot production and minutes played, Kyrie is a solid cash play. D.J. Augustin FD - $5900 DK - $5100Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 23.31 DK - 24.51 The Brooklyn Nets were last years DFS punching bag, the team it was always safe to target due to their fast pace of play and poor defensive prowess. So far this season it seems not much has changed on that front. Brooklyn is still playing fast and defending poorly. While after just a week, they're not the worst team defensively at the point, they are allowing 54.1 FanDuel points to opposing PG through the first week which is enough to rank them sixth worst at the position. Tonight the Magic will host Brooklyn and with Elfrid Payton sidelined with that hamstring injury the starting duties have fallen on D.J. Augustin. Payton sat out of practice Monday, and has already been ruled out for tonight, so that means D.J. should...

Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11300 DK - $11500Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 53.41 DK - 56.86 We have a mini three game set of NBA games today, but that's alright because Sundays are for football right? Still, there is basketball action and we need to breakdown the top plays for the die hards, and it goes without saying at the top of the list is one Mr. Westbrook. Russ had one of those one-off games last night against the Jazz, being limited to a mere six points, and though he was able to make up some fantasy ground with 13 boards and nine dimes, it was still quite the underwhelming outcome based on cost. That being said, this is Russell Westbrook, and we know that was an outlier of one of the most reliable names in the NBA. Expect a huge bounce back this afternoon as the Thunder play host to Minnesota, and on this short slate, I think it's safe to say, you absolutely must have Russ in your line if you want to end the night in the green. Jrue Holiday FD - $6700 DK - $5900Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 38.52 DK - 38.78 The last game of the day also has the highest projected total from Vegas as the Pelicans hit the Staples Center to play the Lakers. L.A. is starting the season out as one of the top defenses to target for opposing point guards, which is promising news for Jrue Holiday who has failed to pay off in his first two games, but did look better Friday night against the Warriors. Jrue was missing buckets like it was his job in the opener against Memphis, despite it being the exact opposite of his job, but managed to get himself into double digits in scoring the next time out against Golden State. Jrue is a solid player at the point and once he gets going he should start crushing value at these prices, and what better time than against the Lakers where he'll be countered with Lonzo Ball who has impressed out of the gate with his offense but has done little to nothing on the defensive side. This could be the day Holiday...

We've got you completely covered. What We Know Elfrid Payton is out tonight against the Cavaliers. Payton left Friday night's game against the Nets after just 14 minutes with a hamstring injury. There's no word on the severity yet, but the team will hold him out of tonight's game in Cleveland as a precaution. Look for Shelvin Mack or D.J. Augustin to draw the start, making for a solid value play at the position. Derrick Rose is out tonight against the Magic Rose injured his ankle last night against the Bucks, and will sit out again tonight. With Cleveland thin at the point already, expect Dwyane Wade to step up while Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith could see some benefit from his absence as well. Dennis Smith Jr. did not travel with the Mavericks. Smith was a late scratch on Friday night and did not travel with the team to Houston. JJ Barea drew the start on Friday and he and Yogi Ferrell will split PG duties for the Mavs. Kawhi Leonard remains out for tonight's game against the Bulls Leonard will miss a second straight game to start off the season with no timeline for a return. Kyle Anderson will continue to be a viable play in his absence after running the boards for 29 minutes against Minnesota on Wednesday. Rodney Hood has been ruled out tonight against the Thunder Hood will miss tonight's contest and is being considered day-to-day after straining his calf last night. Alec Burks, Donovan Mitchell and Thabo Sefolosha all could benefit from his absence, but none jump out as must have for DFS purposes. Hassan Whiteside will sit out tonight contest against the Pacers. Whiteside bumped knees with Nikola Vucevic on Wednesday in Orlando, and was held out of practice yesterday. Kelly Olynyk is the likely choice to start at the five for the Heat, with James Johnson most likely filling the four spot. Myles Turner will miss a second game due to a concussion and sore neck. Turner suffered the injury Wednesday and played through it for 33 minutes of run time, but was held back for last night's game against the Blazers, and will miss at least one more contest tonight as the Pacers head into Miami. Al Jefferson and Domantas...

Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $11300 DK - $11100 Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 55.33 DK - 57.1 The question going into Thursday night's opener for the Thunder against the Knicks had us asking with the addition of Carmelo Anthony and Paul George to OKC would we still see the same Russ we've come to know and love, or would his usage take a hit? The answers being yes and yes. Despite seeing a 25% drop in his usage (27.8% as opposed to 40.8% last season) Russ still did his thing for the fantasy owners posting his first triple double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists in 33 minutes of court time, 32 of which he shared with either Melo, George, or both. It's still early, and one game certainly isn't an indicator of any trends but the fact remains, Westbrook is one of the most exciting figures in the NBA today, and regardless of who you surround him with when he hits the court he runs the show. If his teammates are taking the shots, he'll be right there dishing out the assists and snagging the rebounds, and he still is priced at a bargain compared to what we were spending on him at last seasons peak. All things considered Westbrook is a necessity in any cash lineup and is always a GPP threat with upside for days. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $5500 DK - $5000 Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 28.65 DK - 28.67 Okay, I'm going to put my personal feelings aside here, (despite the fact that Embiid and Saric were both deserving regardless of playing time) and talk up the reigning Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon is far from a game changer, but what he is, is a solid contributor on offense who presents a high floor at a value price. Brogdon saw 41 minutes of play on Wednesday in Boston for the season opener, and dropped 19 points while picking up a rebound and four assists. Despite nearly 10 fewer minutes against the Cavaliers last night, he managed to match his production. It's clear the offense in Milwaukee runs through Giannis, and Brogdon is a point guard in name only. That...
