Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $7800 DK - $8800 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 51.02 DK - 54.67 We'll be tapping into the Toronto well several times today as they draw the best matchup of the day against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs have the third-worst overall defense from a fantasy perspective, and are ranked in the bottom five in assists, steals, and blocks allowed. They're particularly generous to opposing point guards, which is why we love Kyle Lowry tonight. Lowry has seen no fewer than 35 minutes in every game the champs have played this month, and averaged 40.2 Fanduel points per game. The Fanduel price is inexplicably on the decline, which makes him almost a must have there, but even approaching $9K on DraftKings, given the available options on this slate and the matchup, Lowry is a top play in cash games across the industry. Kemba Walker FD - $7500 DK - $7400 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 41.03 DK - 42.73 In four games since the Pistons managed to hold him to just two points, Kemba Walker has been shooting lights out for the Celtics most recently dropping 30 against the Raptors on Saturday. For a player so reliant on making baskets, that's exactly what we want to see from Walker, and I'm looking for the shots to continue falling today in Charlotte. The Hornets aren't the most ideal matchup but Walker stands to benefit from a usage bump with Jaylen Brown ruled out due to illness. If we remove that game against the Pistons from the equation, Walker is averaging 26.2 points per game this month...

Young and Kyrie both remain out, leaving Damian Lillard as the only big money option at the position, however, there's plenty of value to be had out there. First up, we have Kendrick Nunn. Nunn has been relatively quiet since torching the Sixers earlier in the month, but his price has come down in the short term and he's still good for 5X PPD (points per dollar) regularly. Tonight he draws a Washington team that is average defending against the point while playing the second-fastest pace in the NBA. As long as the minutes are there, Nunn should be in for a solid night of production at a position with little to desire. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $8000 DK - $7700 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 41.99 DK - 43.44 The Spencer Dinwiddie star seems like it may be starting to fizzle out. After what can be marked a solid month, Dinwiddie is ending December with a whisper, scoring just 17 points in 33 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday. The 11 assists were the saving grace for fantasy purposes, but he still failed to deliver 4X PPD. I'm looking for a nice bounce-back tonight, however, against a Timberwolves team ranked bottom ten defending against opposing point guards, while allowing the second-most scoring to the position. Bonus if Minnesota is without KAT and Andrew Wiggins. Speaking of Andrew Wiggins, consider Jeff Teague if Wiggins sits again, but keep in mind he didn't exactly play a ton on Saturday. Since leaving OKC for Houston, from a fantasy perspective, the man hasn't missed a beat. He's an ever-present triple-double threat, with a double-double all but guaranteed most nights. He sandwiched a season-high 40 point game in between two 30 point performances and has paid over 5X PPD (points per dollar) in eight of his last nine games played. This is one of several games on the agenda this evening with a projected total over 225 and the opening line sits at a mere 5.5 point spread. Since the calendar flipped over to December Westbrook has been playing some of his best ball of the season and that should continue this evening in a league-average matchup. Ish Smith FD - $4500 DK - $4500 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 29.18 DK - 29.26 The league, passed down a suspension for Isaiah Thomas, so look for Ish Smith to likely step into the starting role at the point for Washington while IT serves his time. Smith was a nonfactor in 20 minutes off the bench against Philly, but that was on the heels of 26 points in 29 minutes against the Raptors the night prior. With IT off the court, Ish sees his usage rise nearly 6% and in his career as a starter he's averaged 12.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game. The matchup is favorable against the Knicks, who present a slightly below average defensive matchup against opposing point guards, in the game with the highest projected total of the evening. The Pelicans have been straight-up terrible defending against the point this season, allowing more fantasy points than any other team to the position. Of the four games that I have opening lines on as of this writing, this game promises to be the marquee matchup with a projected total of 230.5 and a mere 1.5 point differential. I'm expecting a big night for Dinwiddie and love him as a cash option. Trae Young FD - $10000 DK - $9900 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 46.8 DK - 49.66 Last night, the theme at the point was to get in and get out on the cheap, not so tonight. Our NBA projection system loves the big money plays tonight and it's not hard to see why. Trae Young has exploded on the scene in his sophomore season, filling out the stat sheet night in and night out. In 36 minutes against the Lakers, he dropped 30 points, the third time in six games he has hit that total. Mix in six rebounds and seven dimes and we have the makings of a solid evening of fantasy production. The turnovers can be a problem, but that's not something to be overly concerned with against the Knicks. This is another game with a 1.5 point differential in the spread so anticipate a...

Even if he does attempt to give it a go tonight, he'll likely be limited which means we have a little longer to run out Kendrick Nunn with confidence. Down the stretch, Nunn's scoring has been shakey, to say the least, but the minutes have remained consistent and the fantasy totals have been worth the price of admission. Point guard has just been a funny position to pin down this season, and if the Dragon remains out I'm fine with rolling out Nunn in my lineups, and likely will even if Goran does make the trip to Memphis. Jalen Brunson FD - $3700 DK - $5500Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 33.77 DK - 34.69As if point guard wasn't already a tough position to field, we lose one of the sure things for the next several weeks as Luka Doncic exited Saturday night's game with a nasty ankle sprain. This does present us with a tremendous value play, however, as Jalen Brunson stepped up in a big way following Doncic's early exit. In 34 minute's Brunson posted 18 points, with seven boards and eight assists, good for a nearly 10X PPD (points per dollar) performance against one of the games tougher matchups for opposing PG's. Tonight Brunson will go against a Bucks team that is slightly below average defending the position in a game with a promising 227 projected total. I will likely have a ton...
