CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE MMA LINEUPS A top-heavy card for UFC Fight Night 89 from Ottawa, Canada leaves us with plenty of options and several guys the majority of MMA fans know nothing about. As a fight fan, I want to be super jacked about this card, but I'm just counting down the days until International Fight Week in early July. BUT - as a DFS player, these cards often offer the best opportunity to capitalize on limited mainstream information. Fight Night cards have turned out my biggest scores this year, let's see if we can continue the trend. Note – I’ll be checking the comments section right until lineup lockup, so let’s get the conversation going. I mean, what’s better than talking daily fantasy? VEGAS FAVORITE ($10,500+) Steve Bosse ($10,700) Vegas Line: -150 Career Record: 11-2 UFC Record: 1-1 Record In Last 5: 4-1 Finishes: 9 KO / 1 Sub / 9 First-Round Losses by Stoppage: 2 KO Last Time Out: W, 1st Round KO - James Te Huna Do. Not. Blink. This fight should be over quick. The line on Bosse has fallen throughout the week but I'm still a believer as the TriStar Gym member takes on Sean O'Connell. Bosse's two UFC fights have both lasted under a minute, with one going each way. On the other side, O'Connell has been finished in six of his seven career losses and that plays into the KO machine that is Bosse -nine knockouts in 13 career fights as well as nine first-round finishes. There are no heavyweight fights on the card so I'll have to settle for a light heavyweight scrap and I think Bosse is the most likely to score a quick KO for over 100 points.   MID-RANGE TARGET ($9,500-$10,400) Stephen Thompson ($9,800) Vegas Line: -115 Career Record: 12-1 UFC Record: 7-1 Record In Last 5: 5-0 Finishes: 7 KO / 1 Sub / 5 First-Round Losses by Stoppage: None Last Time Out: W, 1st Round TKO - Johnny Hendricks Here's your disclaimer - I'm recommending a main event stack in cash game lineups. But, if I had to narrow down the main event (and you do in GPP), I'll take Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson. He looked nothing short of incredible against former champ Johnny Hendricks in February and a win over Rory MacDonald almost...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   PITCHER Early Slate Jake Arrieta FD 12300 DK 13700 Opponent - ATL (Wisler) Park - @ATL FD - 41.43 DK - 23.14 One of the best pitchers in baseball against one of the most anemic offenses - I'm not getting cute and overthinking this one, Jake Arrieta is clearly my top option on both sites. Arrieta is destroying offenses, racking up nearly 10 K/9, positing a 0.96 WHIP, and holding opposing offenses to a .180 BAA. The Chicago ace did lose his last time out but he did strike out 12 batters in five innings of work. Add Arrieta's Cy Young caliber season to the Braves MLB worst .230 batting average and you have the staple of most cash lineups on Saturday. Tanner Roark FD 7900 DK 8700 Opponent - PHI (Nola) Park - @WSH FD - 33.55 DK - 17.57 Tanner Roark gets a double bonus, he's out of the Great American Smallpark and now he gets to face the Phillies. Roark was having a steady season until he ran into the Reds in Cincinnati but I like him to return to form against Philadelphia. We just mentioned Arrieta gets the league's worst batting average well the Phillies aren't much better with a team .231 average. Roark has gotten the best of Philly so far in 2016 with two starts for a combined two runs over 14 innings, 10 strikeouts, and just six hits. A much less expensive option than Arrieta, you can definitely consider Roark in all...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 6/4/16 Back at it again for another busy Saturday of MLB at DFSR. There's a lot to dissect with some chalk plays that are chalk for a reason and our projection system helps find value within the 15 game slate.   When you're done reading the article be sure to check back for our secondary articles (Stacks, Pitchers, News and Weather Report) published throughout the day. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   PITCHER Early Slate Jason Hammel FD 9300 DK 8700 Opponent - ARI (Escobar) Park - @CHC FD - 37.38 DK - 20 Jason Hammel is on pace to have far and away the best year of his career, currently at 6-1 and sporting a 2.09 ERA. Hammel faced the Diamondbacks in his first start of the year and struck out six while surrendering just one run over six innings. Arizona ranks sixth in MLB in strikeouts and Hammel K's 7.9 batters per nine innings. The Cubs' righty exited his last start early with a hamstring cramp, so as long as he's healthy (all indications are yes) he should also be plenty rested heading into Saturday. Junior Guerra FD 7200 DK 6800 Opponent - PHI (Hellickson) Park - @PHI FD - 45.99 DK - 24.98 Want to go cheaper at pitcher? Hello, Junior Guerra. The rookie presents great value and has been very serviceable in his six starts this season. Guerra has gone six innings in every start, except for when he threw five shutout frames against the Braves. He lit up the Cubs for 11 strikeouts and is just shy of nine K's per nine innings in 2016. Finally, the match up is prime for Guerra as the Phillies are among the league's basement dwellers with a .230 team batting average and their OPB of .286 ranks them dead last. Also Consider: Chris Sale (CWS...

Sometimes, even as a big-time UFC fan, I'm a bit reluctant to shell out the cash to order a PPV. I do it, but I don't feel great about it. That's not the case for UFC 199, we get two title fights, Rockhold vs. Bisping 2 & Cruz vs. Faber 3, and a whole lot of bad blood. We also have a ton of DFS strategy to discuss with big-name, high-priced guys at the top of the pool and some sneaky good GPP value right in the middle. Pick time! Note – I’ll be checking the comments section right until lineup lockup, so let’s get the conversation going. I mean, what’s better than talking daily fantasy? VEGAS FAVORITE ($10,500+) Hector Lombard ($11,000) Vegas Line: -380 Career Record: 34-5-1, 2 NC UFC Record: 3-3, 1 NC Record In Last 5: 2-2, 1 NC Finishes: 19 KO / 7 Subs / 20 First-Round Losses by Stoppage: 1 KO Last Time Out: L, 3rd Round TKO – Neil Magny The loser of Hector Lombard vs. Dan Henderson could very well end up retiring as two of the older fighters on the UFC roster clash Saturday night. Lombard was in an absolute WAR last time out with Neil Magny and simply gassed out after Magny somehow survived a savage beating in the first round.  Lombard is super aggressive and Hendo (sadly) just can't take much punishment anymore. Henderson has been put away in the first-round of three of his last six fights and if Lombard connects with any power punch, I suspect the lights will go out. The only hesitation I have is Lombard's short turnaround after the Magny fight. But with such great potential for 100+ points, it's not enough to scare me off Lombard - I'll be leaning on him heavily for UFC 199.   MID-RANGE TARGET ($9,500-$10,400) Elvis Mutapcic ($9,600) Vegas Line: -155 Career Record: 15-4 UFC Record: 0-1 Record In Last 5: 3-2 Finishes: 5 KO / 7 Subs / 9 First-Round Losses by Stoppage: None Last Time Out: L, Unanimous Decision - Francimar Barroso Yes. In theory I know how to pronounce his last name. No, I never get it right. If you had told me before research that Mutapcic would land here, I probably would have...

A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   PITCHER Danny Salazar FD 9500 DK 9600 Opponent - BAL (Urias) Park - @CLE FD - 36.36 DK - 20.86 Danny Salazar is off to a great start in 2016 with a 2.32 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP through his first nine starts. He did struggle last time out against Boston, but they have been crushing everyone lately.  Even in that start, Salazar still put up six strikeouts in just 4.1 innings of work and has recorded 11.1 K's/9  as well as a .181 BAA this year. He takes on the Orioles who are in the top-10 of MLB in strikeouts while the Indians are the second biggest favorite on the early slate in a game with a favorable over/under to roster a pitcher. Kyle Hendricks FD 8000 DK 8700 Opponent - PHI (Eickhoff) Park - @CHC FD - 31.78 DK - 17.2 Speaking of the Cubs, that brings us to Kyle Hendricks. Hendricks has pitched much better than his 2-4 record shows, indicated by a career best .218 BAA as well as the second best BB/9 (2.33) among the Cubs starters. He has also been much better in his four starts at home...
