The game has the highest implied total on the schedule at 238.5 and that’s about five points higher than the next-closest game. While it was assumed Utah would fully be in the tank for this season, that’s been anything but the case and they are actually 13-11 with a +1.6 point differential. A big reason has been Clarkson who is averaging career highs in points (19.5 per game) and assists (4.9). Much of it has simply been from the minutes boost with starting, but we’ll take it. He’s coming at fair prices on both sites. And then there is Collin Sexton who has been getting the starts with Mike Conley out. And that’s going to be the case again in this game. His minutes ceiling isn’t as high as Clarkson’s in the backcourt, but he should be good for at least 30 in this one. He’s taken double-digit shots in each of the last three games and scored 20 or more in two of them. He’s kind of score or bust from a fantasy perspective but the price on both sites is totally fair in the lower-$5K range. Cameron Payne FD - $6000 DK - $6400Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 32.44 DK - 35.31 It hasn’t looked particularly good for Payne over the last few games even though he’s still starting for the injured Chris Paul. He hasn’t been getting up quite as many shots as before and the assists numbers have dropped as well. But on Friday he gets the Rockets who are the third-worst defense in the league while running a top-10 pace. Chargers and Raiders has a 50.5 over/under, the third highest of the slate and Justin Herbert is gifted the opportunity to face the worst pass defense in the league. Las Vegas hasn’t been able to stop anyone in this department all season and are almost definitely going to have their hands full against a Chargers team that throws the ball the second-most in the NFL. Herbert has such a high floor in this game especially if it turns into an up-and-down affair. He’s in play on both sites, but especially FanDuel. Trevor Lawrence FD 7500 DK 5900 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 20.23 DK - 20.23 Trevor Lawrence is coming cheaper on DraftKings, a spot we might end up using him for cash this week. He’s got a great matchup against the Lions who rank 24th in DVOA defense and allow the third-most opponents’ plays per game on the season. That’s a great meeting point when trying to get a high floor play at a lower cost. Lawrence has had to throw a bit more over the last couple of weeks in games against the Ravens and Chiefs, and that could be the case again if this turns into a shootout with Detroit. The 51.5 over/under is the second-highest of the main slate and we could see plenty of exposure to this game. Lawrence runs just enough (3.5 times a game) to keep the floor higher in that respect. Of course, strongly consider Patrick Mahomes whose Chiefs have the highest implied total of the slate. Jared Goff makes for a DraftKings consideration at just $5100. Running Backs Josh Jacobs FD 9500 DK 7900 Opponent LACProj Points FD - 27.08 DK - 29.29 Jacobs is an interesting case this week for cash. On the one hand, with his usage he’s nearly a lock at these prices, even on FanDuel where he’s getting close to $10K. For a guy who was already a superstar and MVP candidate, Doncic has taken it to even another level, averaging 33 points per game to go with his 8.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists. This game against the Warriors has the highest total (227.5) of the three and should be an up-and-down affair. It’s easier to fit Doncic on FanDuel where the price is a little lower, but DraftKings will be a tough pull unless a true punt comes into play, which might not be the case. Jalen Brunson FD - $8600 DK - $7700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 41.92 DK - 44.52 The Knicks get the best matchup of the slate against the Detroit Pistons who rank 29th in defensive efficiency on the season. This game has a 225 over/ under with the Knicks as -4 favorites. Brunson has stepped it up of late, averaging 30.8 points and 6.8 assists over the last four games. One of those was an overtime game, but he’s taking more than 20 shots per game in that stretch. The Knicks are desperate for a win here after losing three of their last four. I think he plays a lot of minutes as long as the game stays close. Reggie Jackson FD - $5500 DK - $5300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 28.47 DK - 32.05 With Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and now John Wall out for this game, it sure seems like Reggie Jackson should be in line for major minutes. After all, the Clippers are way down on scorers and guys who can create their own shots. But Jackson’s minutes and production have been a bit variable this season, which is one of the reasons his price remains in the lower middle tier. But I do think this is the prime spot for him to...

It’s meant a very high floor for cash games, especially on FanDuel where the defensive stats can really help things pile up. This is a good matchup against the Magic and I think we can consider him once again. Meanwhile, Shake Milton is coming cheap on DraftKings and was a chalk play there on Wednesday. He ended up playing 39 minutes, scoring 22 points and adding nine assists. The 16 shots were the third-most on the team behind Melton and Tobias Harris. The 76ers is concentrated among these three right now, giving each a pretty high floor in terms of the minutes and the usage. Cameron Payne FD - $6700 DK - $7300Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 38.36 DK - 41.63 He’s a bit too expensive on DraftKings, but the FanDuel price is still very much in the cash game range and the floor has been high for Payne in his time starting for the injured Chris Paul. Over his last seven games, Payne is averaging 19 points and 6.5 rebounds while playing right around 33 minutes per game. Against a very bad Detroit Pistons team, this is a good spot for Payne. This could be a smash spot for Jackson who should see plenty of volume and has been running a bit bad on the touchdowns (both running and throwing) over the last few games. Geno Smith FD 7600 DK 6000 Opponent LVProj Points FD - 21.79 DK - 21.79 With Thanksgiving week reducing the number of games we have on the main slate, we are going to have to take value where it comes. Geno Smith is in an excellent spot here coming off a bye and facing one of the worst defenses in football. The Raiders rank 32nd overall in defensive DVOA and also dead-last against the pass. That’s a good starting point for Geno who has 2+ touchdown passes in eight of his ten games this season and a 17:4 TD:INT rate on the season. He’s also gotten out in the run game as well, maintaining a high fantasy floor throughout. The DraftKings price is way too low here for the floor and upside and I think he could be a popular start there. Running Backs Austin Ekeler FD 8800 DK 8500 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 21.57 DK - 25.19 Mike Williams could miss this game and we already know that Ekeler is featured so prominently in the passing game that his floor in full PPR is just so high. He ranks 10th overall in targets on the season, a crazy stat for a running back and is lapping the field at the position in terms of passing down work. His 206 total touches are fifth in the NFL as well and the volume here should give him a very high floor against a Cardinals team ranked in the bottom third of the league against both the...
