Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels FD 9100 DK 7600 Opponent CARProj Points FD - 27.64 DK - 27.64 It’s crazy that we are writing a rookie in Week 7 who also happens to be about as expensive as they come on either site. But here we are with Jayden Daniels, who’s been one of the best QBs in the league, rookie or now. He’s facing off against an abysmal Carolina Panthers defense that gets shredded basically every single week. They’ve allowed 34 or more points to opponents in each of the last three weeks, and it could be the case again here. The Commanders are -8 home favorites, and Daniels has been the third-best fantasy quarterback this season behind only Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield (right?). It’s a smash spot and we are going to want pieces of this offense for sure. The Panthers are just that bad. Sam Darnold FD 7500 DK 6200 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 20.64 DK - 20.64 We usually only want to roster QBs who can get out there and run, but there’s a case for Darnold here, especially at his DraftKings price. He offers decent savings compared to Daniels and this could be a high-scoring affair with the Lions. The game has perfect conditions in the dome and the Vikings will have to keep pace with that high-powered offense. Darnold had a rough game against the Jets, but before that had thrown 11 TDs and just three INTS through his first four games. I think we can run him here if pivoting off Jayden. Running Back Bijan Robinson FD 8200 DK 7100 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 19.2 DK - 21.12 Are we worried that Tyler Allgeier still gets a lot of carries in this offense? Of course, the dude actually out-carried Bijan 18-115 last week, even though the snap count was 56% to 41% in favor of Robinson. It still just means that Bijan isn’t a bell-cow back or anything on this squad. But that’s also okay because he’s also averaging right around 14 carries and four targets a game in one of the game’s better offenses. The price is up there, but I think we’ll be able to find enough savings at the WR position to make it worth our while. And the Falcons are -3 favorites at home in a game tied for the highest total on the slate. Kyren...

Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 9500 DK 7800 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 27.11 DK - 27.11 This game has the second-highest total on the slate, and Lamar Jackson has been the best fantasy player in the NFL this season. Do we need much more explanation than that? Probably not. Through five games, Lamar has eight touchdowns through the air and three on the ground. He’s completing 66% of his passes and the 53 rushing attempts are second among QBs. The Commanders are a bottom-third defense and are second-worst in the league in opponent yards per rushing attempts. This is a dream spot for Jackson. Jordan Love FD 8500 DK 6600 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 21.84 DK - 21.84 More of a DraftKings play than FanDuel because of the pricing, I do like Jordan Love in this matchup against the Cardinals. Arizona owns the 7th-worst defensive DVOA in the league this season, and this game’s 47.5 total is the third-highest of the slate. I do wish Love ran a bit more just to provide a safer floor, but the Packers should be able to work against this defense. Running Back Saquon Barkley FD 9200 DK 8200 Opponent CLEProj Points FD - 20.65 DK - 22.07 We want to target running backs at home as big favorites. That’s the case with Saquon Barkley who’s very expensive but is also coming off the bye in Week 6. He ranks 10th in rushing attempts despite playing one fewer game than everyone above him on the list. And he’s seeing plenty of work in the passing game as well. In the right game script, he’s a smash play against an average Cleveland defense. Derrick Henry FD 9100 DK 8000 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 19.43 DK - 20.08 It’s expensive, but stacking Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson in cash games would appear to have a tremendous floor, especially considering what the Commanders let up on the ground this season. Only the Bills are allowing more rushing yards per play. Henry has averaged 20.5 carries per game over the last four, putting up a crazy 526 yards in that stretch. He hasn’t lost a step, and this is a sick spot. And there are few better guys to spend up on right now than Jayden Daniels whose spent his first four NFL games looking like one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Through four weeks, he’s second only to Lamar Jackson in quarterback fantasy points, getting after it on the ground with 46 rushes and four TDs already while also completing a crazy 82% of his passes. This simply doesn’t happen for almost any QB, much less a rookie. He’s facing a Browns defense which ranks below average in defensive DVOA and on DraftKings Daniels still isn’t priced correctly. Lamar Jackson FD 8800 DK 7500 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 25.04 DK - 25.04 We just mentioned him, so why not mention him again? Lamar Jackson leads the league in quarterback fantasy scoring, and that’s even with Derrick Henry running absolutely wild in Week 4. He hasn’t been all that efficient through the air, completing just 67% of his passes, but Jackson has five passing touchdowns and has run for a couple more. The Bengals rank 21st in defensive DVOA on the season and the 49 over/under comes in as the second-highest total on the slate. If you can afford it, Lamar Jackson offers a floor considerably higher than almost any other QB going. Consider Deshaun Watson mostly because he’s cheap on DraftKings and is facing the Commanders defense which is about the worst in the league so far. Speaking of bad defenses, Jordan Love faces off against the Rams who’ve been crushed this year on that side of the ball. He’s a bit cheaper than Daniels and Jackson, though doesn’t offer the same sort of rushing floor. Running Back Jordan Mason FD 8700 DK 7400 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 19.62 DK - 20.29 Another week, another slate to consider playing Jordan Mason. For a guy who was on almost every waiver wire to right up to the point CMC was announced out that first Monday night, he’s turned into a go-to running back this season. But a primetime game that had him throwing for 254 yards and two touchdowns while also running 39 yards and a score will do that. Now, he gets a Cardinals defense ranked in the bottom third in DVOA so far in a game with the highest total (50.5) on the week. It’s a fantastic spot, and Daniels is primed for another big game. The running gives him such a high floor independent of the game script, and the price, especially on DraftKings, hasn’t fully gotten there yet. Justin Fields FD 6800 DK 5500 Opponent INDProj Points FD - 20.65 DK - 20.65 The Steelers, with Justin Fields as their quarterback, are road favorites heading into Indianapolis this week. What a time to be alive. Fields, filling in for the injured Russell Wilson, has the Steelers 3-0, and he’s looked competent/ good through the first three games. He’s completing 73% of his passes, though the volume has been on the lower side, with the Steelers clearly wanting to run the ball as much as possible. Fields is part of that though, with 28 carries on the season. With dome conditions against a team that likes to play fast, this is a perfect spot for Fields and his DraftKings price is still much too cheap. Running Back Breece Hall FD 8000 DK 7800 Opponent DENProj Points FD - 20.66 DK - 23.4 Breece Hall sits sixth overall in total usage (rushing attempts + targets) on the season and that’s even with the Jets sprinkling in healthy dosages of Braelon Allen along the way. Hall remains one of the best fantasy options around and his 19 passing targets ranks first at the position. The Broncos haven’t been terrible on defense this season, but this is still a good spot for Breece, who hasn’t seen the price move a ton in three weeks. With the Jets -7.5 home favorites, we are in the running back sweet spot in cash.
