Tyus Jones and Desmond Bane make a pretty clear backcourt stack in this one and really neither is prices all the way up for what they mean to the Memphis offense right now. Jones has seen the usage drop off a bit over the last three games, getting up just around double-digit shot attempts over that stretch, but he’s in too good a spot to fade here against the league’s worst defense in the Spurs who run the fourth-fastest pace. Meanwhile, Bane has also seen the shot attempts drop some in the short-term, but some of that was minutes’ based and he’s still pretty clearly the team’s #1 option on offense when Ja is out of the mix. If anything, the recent play has kept his price in check which is a good thing when considering running him for cash games. Again, these two should drive most of the offense for the Grizzlies and stacking Memphis in general is a high-floor play on this slate. In closer games, Beal has been playing 37+ and 24 or more points in five of his last six games. Even with Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma healthy, there’s been more than enough usage to go around and Beal’s DraftKings price is a fantastic value. Killian Hayes FD - $7000 DK - $6200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 39.06 DK - 41.85 The Pistons pulled off a somewhat surprising win over the short-handed Pacers on Monday night and are in a spot to play spoiler once again on Tuesday when they face the Wizards. Hayes has been solid from a fantasy perspective in the short-tier with Jaden Ivey out of the mix and that could continue here in this one. He had 10 points and 11 assists on Monday and that was following a 17 point, 13 assist game on Saturday against that same Indiana team. The price hasn’t fully corrected for his new opportunity with the Pistons backcourt so thin and I think we can still play him in cash. Immanuel Quickley FD - $6900 DK - $7100Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 36.04 DK - 38.97 Jalen Brunson is doubtful for this game so we should get Immanuel Quickley in the starting role once again. He only played 31 minutes last game when the Knicks took on the Lakers, which is a bit of a concern, but the usage should still be there in a good matchup against the Blazers. Quickly can fill it up from a scoring perspective but the shots need to be there. He’s a bit reliant, from a fantasy perspective, on putting the ball in the basket which does make him a bit risky at these price...

Anthony Edwards makes for a tough fade considering the usage rate has gone up in the wake of the D’Angelo Russell trade and he is coming off a 24-shot game against the Sixers on Tuesday evening. The price is still very manageable, especially on FanDuel where he’s still under $9K. I think he’s a popular play on this slate against a Brooklyn team that has definitely given it up on the defensive end at times. And then there’s Mike Conley who’s been a bit hit-or-miss lately with both the minutes and the production. It’s kept his price points on the lower side, but he’s also been able to spike some games here and there. He’s a bit on the riskier side all things considered, but the salaries make it a bit easier to stomach if he gets buzzed off his run for whatever reason. The Timberwolves do have some guards they like to play off the bench. That one ended at 122-120 and an Atlanta win, but there was plenty of fantasy production to go around. Trae Young finished with 28 points and 10 assists while Dejounte Murray put up 17 points, six assists, four rebounds, and some defensive stats as well. The Wizards aren’t very good on defense with this personnel and we could see a high-scoring game once again from these two. Considering Ja Morant has a whopping 37% usage rate on the season, there are some shots to fill in here. Bane is coming off a 22-shot performance on against the Clippers on Sunday and his usage rate climbs to 28.4% with Morant off the court this season. He’s a fantastic play at these prices. And then there is Tyus Jones who has a 30% assist rate with Morant out of the mix this season and gets the usage up to 19% as well. His price is on the rise, but remember, he’s coming off a 25-point, 12-assist game of his own. He’s set to play big minutes going forward considering how thin the Grizzlies now are in the backcourt. Stephen Curry FD - $9500 DK - $10100Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 51.01 DK - 56.4 Stephen Curry returned from injury on Sunday, stepping in to play 32 minutes right out of the game. He struggled a bit from the field, going 8-20 and 5-13 from three. But this is Curry we are talking about so there’s no real reason to sweat short-term results. He’ll get a good matchup against the Thunder here who play fast and the Warriors have a 120 implied total. Curry’s FanDuel price makes it pretty easy to fit him into lineups and we are buying a bit low. If Jalen Brunson is out again then Immanuel Quickley (FD 7300 DK 5000) makes for a lock DraftKings play. He’s coming off a monster game against the Celtics on Sunday. The spot sets up well for Dame who is on a different level right now. That was the case last game with both running 38 against the Suns in a loss. Rozier took 18 shots and finished with 20 points, but he has a 29.8% usage rate when Ball is off the court this season. Meanwhile, Kelly Oubre took a team-high 24 points and finished with 26 points while adding in nine rebounds. The matchup against the Magic on Friday should be a better one though Orlando isn’t exactly a rollover team. That being said, the Hornets guys without their star are all a bit underpriced and this game doesn’t have inordinate blowout risk.
