Point Guard/ Shooting Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $9400 DK - $9700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 47.52 DK - 51.81 There isn’t a lot of defense expected in this Hornets-Pistons game and that’s going to be good news from a fantasy perspective. LaMelo Ball ran about 32 minutes in the first game of the season, going for a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists. He struggled from the field at 4-15 which is somewhat problematic, but a good sign for the usage. His price on FanDuel is right in the sweet spot and even though this game doesn’t have the highest total, we can have exposure here. Because of the way he contributes across the stat line, the floor is high even in this tier. Cade Cunningham FD - $8700 DK - $8800Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 45.35 DK - 49.04 One of the big surprises from the first night of the season was the insane usage Cade Cunningham had coming back from a lost 2023 season. He put up a whopping 27 shots for the Pistons in their one-point loss to the Heat. Cade had twice as many shots as the next closes Pistons guy and this could be a trend that continues going forward. And even with all of the chucking, he still managed nine assists as well. He’s the whole offense right now and these prices are simply too low. Scoot Henderson FD - $5500 DK - $5900Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 32.44 DK - 35.42 The bad news first: the Blazers stink and they got killed in the first game of the season, losing 123-11 to the Clippers. Don’t let the final score fool you, this was well over before a garbage time “comeback” in the 4th quarter. The good news though is that Scoot Henderson played through the blowout, running 36 minutes when it was all said and done. He didn’t pile on the stats, but I think those are going to come for the #2 overall pick and his price is too low on both sites. Chris Paul FD - $8100 DK - $6600Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 36.58 DK...
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Thursday, October 26, 2023
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks - Thursday, October 26, 2023 We’ve got a smaller, two-game NBA slate here but there’s already some injury stuff we need to pay close attention to going in. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Maxey FD - $7700 DK - $7500Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 34.76 DK - 37.5 De'Anthony Melton FD - $5800 DK - $5300Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 29.02 DK - 30.83 This pretty straightforward and will likely be the direction most NBA DFS lineups go tonight. We can thank James Harden for that. With the Beard still holding out (or whatever you call it) Tyrese Maxey and De'Anthony Melton will take most of the backcourt minutes for the 76ers. Last season, with James Harden off the court, Tyrese Maxey had the second-highest usage on the team at 29.1% (only Embiid higher) and that trend should continue tonight as well. Maxey is the clear beneficiary of Harden choosing not to play and it’s really not a secret at all. That being said, he isn’t priced for this opportunity and is still coming at a relative bargain even on a two-game slate. Meanwhile, the real win for Melton here is with the minutes. Rather than a 22-25 minute guy off the bench, he’ll enter the starting lineup and is likely to see run in the mid-30s at least. Philly does have Patrick Beverley behind these guys, but that’s about the extent of their on-ball guard depth and that’s even a stretch to say about P-Bev. Stacking the 76ers guards here is the play in cash. Small Forward Kevin Durant FD - $9800 DK - $8900Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 49.55 DK - 53.56 The other big injury news for this slate is that Devin Booker is going to sit for the Suns who are already without Bradley Beal. It’s going to push Kevin Durant into must-play territory and his price on DraftKings is kind of a joke with this news. Durant ran 37 minutes in the opener, a win over the Warriors, going for 18 points while struggling from the field at 7-22. But he grabbed 11 rebounds and the minutes should be at unhealthy levels once again. Durant is going to...

Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes FD 9000 DK 8400 Opponent DENProj Points FD - 25.82 DK - 25.82 Patrick Mahomes is just such a tough fade right now and this week is lining up for the Chiefs to really pile it on. For starters, Mahomes is QB3 in DraftKings scoring on the season behind only Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts. And then you factor in that he is playing the Denver Broncos who grade out at 25th in pass rush and 30th in coverage according to PFF. This game has the highest total on the slate and Mahomes controls the offense. He’s expensive, for sure, but the floor is just so, so high right now. And the matchup is perfect. Brock Purdy FD 7200 DK 5600 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 18.07 DK - 18.07 Brock Purdy is coming cheap on DraftKings where I think you can consider him in cash games. The Bengals have a good pass rush but rank consistently low in coverage. Cincy is below average in opponents yards per pass attempt and are about average in opponent pace. This is a good spot for Purdy even without Deebo Samuel in the mix. He’s gotten out and run a few more times in the last couple of games and has been historically efficient with this offense. I think he has a higher floor in cash games. Running Back Alvin Kamara FD 8300 DK 7300 Opponent INDProj Points FD - 21.75 DK - 25.82 Alvin Kamara is 18th in running back usage (carries + targets) this season which doesn’t sound all that impressive until you remember that he’s played about three games fewer than just about everyone above him on the list. And his receiving targets alone are second among RBs overall behind only Josh Jacobs. This is just outrageous opportunity for Kamara and it makes him basically a must-play on DraftKings because of the full PPR scoring. Derek Carr is fine checking down all day long and Kamara has been the primary beneficiary. This is a pretty easy play in this spot. Tony Pollard FD 7600 DK 7500 Opponent LARProj Points FD - 18.01 DK - 20.11 We are getting dared to play Tony Pollard at these prices and he enters Week 8 with a chance to actually show why he went so high in drafts this season. The Cowboys come out of the bye as -6.5...
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Wednesday, October 25, 2023
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks - Wednesday, October 25, 2023 It’s our first full slate of NBA hoops with a ton of games going down on Wednesday. Let’s take a look at where to start with cash game lineups. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard/ Shooting Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $9700 DK - $9900Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 48.3 DK - 53.09 LaMelo signed the big extension in the offseason and could be looking at a monster year this time around. Are the Hornets all that good? No. Could they be viable for our fantasy purposes? Most definitely. This game has the second-highest over/ under on the slate at 235.5 and should be up-and-down throughout. LaMelo averaged 23 points, 8.4 assists, and 6.3 rebounds in his limited 36 games last season. He was one of just four players in the league to average more than 10 threes per game and the volume should be more than there. Dennis Schröder FD - $5300 DK - $5300Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 29.22 DK - 32.16 The Toronto Raptors lost Fred VanVleet in the offseason and replaced him (effectively) with Dennis Schroder to run the point. Though they will use Scottie Barnes (expected to play with the ankle) in a point-forward role, Schroder will command a lot of on-ball time and is coming off a big summer. Also, after him, the Raptors have very little guard depth. Schroder was awesome in FIBA and showed the ability in the preseason to put up stats with this core group. I think he’s underpriced on both sites for the new role. Scottie Barnes (FD 7600 DK 6700) is a PG on DraftKings and is way too cheap there. It looks like Luka Doncic (FD 11600 DK 11000) is going to play. But if he’s a scratch then Kyrie Irving (FD 10000 DK 10200) would vault to the top of this list. And we’d have to get Josh Green (FD 5300 DK 3800) in there as well. Small Forward Desmond Bane FD - $8100 DK - $7400Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 41.3 DK - 45.07 The Grizzlies were already dealing with the Ja Morant suspension and now they are also going to be without Steven Adams for the...
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Opening Night Tuesday, October 24, 2023
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks - Opening Night Tuesday, October 24, 2023 Well, here we are. NBA season is back baby and things kick off in a big way Tuesday night with a lot of star power on just a smaller slate. We’ve got the Nuggets, Suns, Warriors, and Lakers all in action. Let’s take a look at how this slate breaks down. Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Stephen Curry FD - $10000 DK - $9200Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 45.08 DK - 50.13 Chris Paul FD - $8000 DK - $5600Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 31.61 DK - 33.99 Stephen Curry is expensive here, and rightfully so meaning we will have to find some savings elsewhere. And with no Draymond Green in the lineup, the Warriors will truly be a new look group going into this first game of the season. That’s going to mean more Chris Paul minutes in the starting lineup and we will get a chance to see this pairing in action. I still like Steph for cash games, even more on DraftKings than FanDuel where the threes count a bit more. Even with the Warriors playing a different style, he should still be able to get up shots against a Suns team lacking much in the way of point-of-attack defense. And Chris Paul isn’t really priced like a starter at all on DraftKings coming under $6K. He’s just too good of a bargain there with Draymond Green out of the mix. The Warriors have plenty to work out this season, but for this first game with CP3 running with the starters, we can role him in cash on DraftKings. Jamal Murray FD - $8800 DK - $7500Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 41.79 DK - 45.45 It’s really between the backcourts of the Suns and Warriors or Jamal Murray in cash. I’m going with the latter because the price point is a bit lower and the opportunity + role is more set in stone than the others. Murray is primed for a big year following the Denver championship run and will likely look to increase his scoring above career levels. He’s been 20-21 over the last couple of seasons. The Nuggets bench is a bit...
